Zheng Yichen sat in a chair, reading through the instruction manual that Ahn Ke had printed out. The items she had given him couldn’t be said to have problems; rather, they were overwhelmingly problematic.
The Mutation Type-18 virus could rapidly change the host individual, causing the individual to mutate into a very powerful being. At the sa ti, it was paired with a corresponding infectious virus. When used, mixing the two viral fluids would result in a highly infectious biological virus.
Although beings infected by it wouldn’t beco a mother substance-like existence, they still retained enough mutability, with a very low probability of becoming a mother substance or even surpassing it.
This was essentially a biochemical virus, wasn’t it?
Zheng Yichen’s mouth involuntarily twitched, and he continued to look at another item, the Aberration Type-4 Serum, which could induce a controlled range of heavy aberrations within a creature. The intensity didn’t depend on the individual’s physical strength but on their genetic potential.
In theory, even a weak being could evolve into sothing surpassing a T-rex, and this substance had no infectiousness.
Furthermore, there was a Parasite Type-9 virus, which could weaken the target’s strength over ti, eventually resulting in a powerful individual bursting forth from the target’s body. This virus had strong imprinting characteristics and could be controlled through auxiliary pheromones.
However, if the controller of such a parasite was too weak, they risked being overwheld.
Three very special viruses that could create a plethora of fodder, improve underlings, and exploit an incubation process to gain a strong combat unit.
Beyond these were various poisons.
There was a poison whose potency increased with the target’s physique. However, this poison might be ineffective if the individual’s strength exceeded a certain threshold. Ordinary people affected by this poison would not suffer much.
Another poison could disrupt the energy flow within a target’s body, causing the energy to burn uncontrollably and thus harm the host. But this poison was in the testing phase, and it was possible that the target’s body energy would burn without losing control, which was akin to giving the enemy an additional boost.
The introduction to this product included an additional supplent. If Zheng Yichen had enough confidence in himself, he could use it on himself. While poison is dangerous, if used well, the effects it could produce were more formidable than dicine.
Another substance was specifically designed against aberrant creatures, causing them to undergo more severe malignant mutations. It was sowhat similar to the Aberration Type-4 virus, but while that virus was controllable, this one was entirely out of control, capable of causing an aberrant creature to self-destruct.
There wasn’t a single normal item in the bunch.
In another area, Ahn Ke pulled up so data on the computer and said to Ahn Qi, "I originally planned to give these to you in a couple of days."
"What...?" Ahn Qi glanced at the data and imdiately looked serious, "Everlasting Being? Even in low environnts?"
It was nearly impossible for an Everlasting Being to arise in a low environnt. At best, one could find a being that lived for an extended period. Even the fire dragon would be influenced by a low environnt, for instance. If in its native world, a fire dragon could live for tens of thousands of years, in Hazy City world it might only last three to five thousand years.
Not to ntion an Everlasting Being. High lifeform level? Even if the lifeform level was high, it would still be limited by environntal factors, preventing the unlocking of many special traits.
Of course, if the lifeform level was sufficient, an individual on the brink of old age in a low environnt could rejuvenate by visiting a high environnt, effectively having their lifespan refreshed upon returning to the low environnt.
"This is only the basics. But nobody else should even dream of obtaining this kind of longevity from him, as anyone who tries would be on a path of certain death," Ahn Ke said calmly. She couldn’t guarantee eternal life, but the issue of living an extended life wasn’t significant. She was still young and had many options in the Hazy City world.
The lure of eternal life wasn’t that great after all; eternal life did not an immortality. It’s common sense that a person would die if killed, but it’s also true. An Everlasting Being would die if killed, and the longer they lived, the greater the probability of death.
What was truly special were the various traits contained in Zheng Yichen’s blood. She had separated them into several categories, which didn’t strongly correlate with one another. In so experints, although the test subjects quickly died of withering, she managed to confirm several traits.
Related to Elents power, body strengthening, and so on. Even now, she couldn’t be sure if these were all there was.
The conversation between Ahn Ke and Ahn Qi was not hidden from Zheng Yichen. Obtaining his blood sample was for research purposes. Now that they had results, discussing them in front of the person involved was only natural. She wanted more blood samples for further study, not just this one-ti collection.
As they conversed, Zheng Yichen also noticed a particular virus contained in a transparent tube, filled with a green liquid, within which a toothpick-like ’creature’ was suspended. This was also a product of the virus.
An incomplete experintal body. What piqued Zheng Yichen’s interest was that it required certain catalysts to be effective, or else it would just be a simple ’parasite.’ Even if a human body was parasitized, there wouldn’t be any significant changes. It was possible that the person could die without ever knowing such a thing existed inside them.
