"It’s only been two days, and it’s already turned into this," Zheng Yichen felt as if the activated planet had beco irritated, which was a good thing, as it would reveal what sort of thing would erge from within.

Upon seeing this video, the indigenous residents of the base imdiately panicked. The previous atmosphere had been gloomy, but now it had beco lively, especially after learning that it was Mo City,

"Captain Essen, quick, let’s get going!" Soone couldn’t hold back anymore, and even those who had considered causing trouble were struck with concern because of the video, grateful that they hadn’t done anything dangerous before.

Essen nodded solemnly, knowing that more people could lead to trouble. To avoid additional complications, he opted for an iron fist approach in maintaining order.

So of those who had been hung up might have ant well, but there were also those with ulterior motives. There were less than eight hundred people in the entire base, but there were not a few among them who could not bear loneliness, or one might say, wherever there were people, such situations occurred.

"Board the plane!" Accompanied by ard personnel, the residents of the base made their way to the boarding area inside. The transport planes were large, and many fuel tankers were filling up the planes with fuel, while others drove transport vehicles, constantly bringing survival resources onto the planes.

Two large transport planes, one to carry people, the other for carrying survival resources.

The boarding process was not fast; each person had to be checked to ensure no one was concealing weapons or such, unlikely though the possibility was, precautions still had to be taken.

"It’s about ti, leave the rest!" Essen shouted at the still-busy transport workers, looking at the clock. Despite a strike in the middle of the two days of preparation, everything that needed to be ready was ready.

Lingering any longer wouldn’t allow them to take much more; what could be taken away should be taken away, especially essential items like seeds. The Dusk Cathedral in their world was not small, and could easily accommodate seven hundred people, or even several tis that number.

However, the limiting factor was not space for living, but resources. Seeds were very important.

Once the last person was aboard, ice fog erged from the surface of the transport plane. The cryogenic fluid could efficiently cool and maintain the insulation of the plane with its flowing cryogenic liquid interior.

Under the programd operation set up in the base, it opened slowly. This opening ant the base was no longer isolated and would sync with the outside environnt, and through the monitor, Zheng Yichen could see that the ’skylight’ of the base was still covered with a heavy layer of ice fog.

"There are still many resources left in the base. Although we can’t guarantee that the isolation will protect the base, it’s worth a try," Essen said as he approached.

The transport planes flew out from the launch platform of the open base, one following the other in the direction Zheng Yichen had pointed out. From the cockpit of the lead plane, Zheng Yichen could see the beacons belonging to Dusk through the window.

"With this speed, we’ll reach the Dusk Territory in a few hours," Essen said with so emotion. Originally, they were supposed to wait for death and try their luck at the very end, but after eting the Proxy Agent of Dusk, everything changed.

With a clear destination and the speed of the transport plane, by dawn, their people would have moved to the Dusk Territory, and at that ti... at least so embers would remain in this world.

"Yeah, normally, one could just sleep through a plane flight and be there when they wake up," Zheng Yichen nodded in agreent. Normally it would be so, but they had encountered an abnormal situation, as the external monitoring of the transport plane detected a huge shadow approaching.

When the pilot enlarged the image, they revealed a look of despair: "Boss, we might be done for..."

It was an enormous piece of flesh, towering over two kiloters in height, with a monstrous pair of twisted wings on its back. The creature flew and approached in an inconceivable manner.

"How can such a massive thing support its own body??" Monili said in panic, her understanding defied by the sight of an enormous creature over two kiloters tall.

Such a massive entity should have been crushed under its own weight, but this thing could fly like a bird, and the frequency of its wings’ flapping wasn’t enough to lift such a huge creature.

Yet it not only took flight but approached rapidly.

"Can we shake off that monster?" Essen asked, with a serious expression.

"No, we’re already at top speed," the pilot shook his head with a pained expression.

"Then we fight back, take it down!" Essen imdiately ordered. Though the transport planes weren’t heavily ard, they were equipped with weapons in anticipation of ergency during the two days of preparation: "Fire all the ammunition!"

"Roger!"

And so Zheng Yichen witnessed the scene as both transport planes released all their missiles, which redirected in flight and locked onto the huge monster pursuing them, resulting in intense explosions upon impact with the giant.

However, after the explosion faded, the wounded giant continued to pursue, its injuries healing rapidly.
