Beam after beam shattered as Zheng Yichen moved swiftly, casually tearing off a strip of light from the ground and, to Moss’s astonishnt, began to gnaw on it.

The combatants within the light mbrane were also shocked when they witnessed this scene; they had seen bizarre things but never sothing as preposterous as soone directly gnawing on a Sky Pillar.
Moss was stunned for a mont as well, but soon the murderous intent in his eyes intensified, and the descending light beams beca more concentrated and formidable. Moreover, the Sky Pillar itself underwent so changes, with a circle-like light mbrane erging in its middle section.
This light mbrane encompassed Zheng Yichen completely, like an umbrella over the ground.
Zheng Yichen’s pressure surged in an instant.
However, he wasn’t idle; after gnawing enough light strips, the power he digested and converted was utilized additionally, dispersing the Burst Mode state in that instant. But not dodging wasn’t an option, as those wind blades bearing the Sky Pillar’s energy were strong enough to slice through the light mbrane.
Seeing Zheng Yichen grabbing another light strip, the combatants on the ground quickly encircled him. Hindered by Moss, Zheng Yichen’s movents weren’t fast, and those who had co to fight weren’t the kind of weak soldiers easily killed.
Once surrounded, he beca much more passive and found it difficult to find opportunities to gnaw on the light strips during combat.

So lee fighters, caught off guard, were decimated by a move called Blood Sacrifice Burst. The protective spells their allies had placed on them shattered under this attack, and their bodies exploded into a mist of blood.
Part of this blood mist was absorbed by Zheng Yichen’s long spear imbued with Blood Asura inner force, while the rest was blown away by the combatants from afar.
Zheng Yichen smirked, punching through a light beam while simultaneously other attacks took the opportunity to hit him. Explosions subrged him completely.
The group’s strongest fighter, the one who had been flying above and not fighting honorably, delivered the most potent but infrequent attacks, managing to wound Zheng Yichen whenever possible.
In the dust cloud, Zheng Yichen’s eyes glowed faintly red; his thermal vision ignored the effect of the dust while his Illusion-Breaking trait allowed him to disregard those deceptive influences, with Burst Mode’s air mbrane and the amulet resisting most of the anomalies.
Otherwise, forget about combat—re soft restrictions would have significantly lowered his condition.
The dust cloud didn’t affect Zheng Yichen, but so enemies were affected. He skewered two lee warriors like stringing gourds.
When the dust settled and they saw Zheng Yichen’s wounds healing rapidly, Moss slightly furrowed his brows. An agent with regeneration abilities who could also suck blood was undoubtedly troubleso, especially given the state brought about by the air mbrane surrounding Zheng Yichen.
It was like an uncontrollable Tyrant Body state—every curse inflicted on Zheng Yichen by the people here was resisted; this world’s environntal strength was simply not very high.
Although Proxy Agents were formidable, they could not display much of their capabilities until the world environnt reached a certain level of strength. Before then, even the mightiest being could be overrun by sheer numbers, and this issue would be mitigated as the local environnt grew stronger, unless the attackers were all warriors of equal strength.
It could be said that if Zheng Yichen hadn’t possessed that unique ’Tyrant Body’ state, he would have already been killed.
Moss’s avoidance of approaching Zheng Yichen was his way of being cautious. Once surrounded, Zheng Yichen would no longer have the chance to gnaw on the Sky Pillar. However, he had already nibbled substantial parts of the light band, aning this Proxy Agent still had one or perhaps several more opportunities to burst forth.
It was just a matter of when Zheng Yichen could no longer hold back.
Moss glanced at the sky just as a nuclear bomb had exploded above the do, with the energy from the blast absorbed by the do linked to the Sky Pillar, causing only minor ripples in the layer of light film.
The world’s indigenous people had sent a nuclear bomb as a last resort in the initial stages, or else the Dusk Hunters would still have been trouble when the Sky Pillar was first taking root, as it was much more fragile then.
Turning his gaze away, the battle below continued relentlessly.
Moss frowned at Zheng Yichen’s condition. Up to now, effective attacks on Zheng Yichen ca only from lee fighters, as ranged attacks were destroyed upon contact with that layer of energy film.
If this continued, Zheng Yichen, who initially seed at a disadvantage in the encirclent, would gradually gain a new edge. Seeing this, Moss no longer hesitated.
He fully joined the battle, sending down a solid column of light that blasted Zheng Yichen deep into the ground.

As Moss watched Zheng Yichen swallow the light band in his mouth, he saw Zheng Yichen’s chest expand, and without a second thought, he conjured a light column that stabbed into the ground. The light column rged with the bands on the ground, and nurous delicate light fibers spread out from it.
The light fibers ford a shield that protected everyone, including Zheng Yichen, who then opened his mouth wide.
"Roar——!!"
With a roar tinged with a faint trace of blood, the energy from the Sky Pillar absorbed through the light bands erupted along with the roar. Even though Zheng Yichen, who had never felt discomfort in his lungs even after inhaling volcanic gases, now felt as if his lungs had turned into a burst bellows.
The impact collided with the shield Moss had deployed, causing it to tremble violently. Just as the shield seed on the verge of collapse, the force of the roar emitted by Zheng Yichen also dissipated completely.
The ground around the shield was no longer visible, replaced with nurous light bands associated with the Sky Pillar.
Moss dispelled the shield and looked at his left hand, which now showed signs of crystallization—a consequence of utilizing the Sky Pillar’s energy directly. This was also why he had withdrawn a segnt of his world’s combat forces to co here and completely eliminate this Proxy Agent.
Zheng Yichen had used even more of the Sky Pillar’s energy, yet he did not face the sa issue, an issue that was a top problem in his own world. Killing Zheng Yichen and bringing back his body for research to find this thod would make their integration of other worlds’ resources much more efficient.
They could even ignore the Proxy Agents as long as the Sky Pillar existed. By drawing on its power, all participating warriors could receive a top boost, maximizing both defense and offense.
Going further, they could even attempt to directly engage with the Boundary Breaking Faction’s Great World. While the Great World had size on its side, their world boasted superior quality!
"Go call for reinforcents." Moss touched his forehead, forming a sphere of light with his touch, then tossed the newly ford object to a subordinate nearby.
At first, he thought he had enough people, but Zheng Yichen’s performance made him decide to play it safe.
If he weren’t worried about Zheng Yichen escaping, he would’ve even considered luring him into their world before dealing with him. This world’s environnt was too weak, preventing many of his attacks from being used outright.
"Yes," responded the warrior, who took the sphere, and after giving Zheng Yichen a fearful glance, quickly escaped the battle and headed back to his world via the Sky Pillar.
Zheng Yichen, eager to intercept, had no opportunity to do so.
