"Hey! How did you get stronger again??" The fire dragon’s eyes widened as it stared at Zheng Yichen, its eyes bulging as if it could eat soone.
"Jealous?" Zheng Yichen laughed as he looked at the fire dragon, which seed to be questioning its life choices.
"I..." The fire dragon grumbled a bit, no longer even in the mood to play video gas. During Zheng Yichen’s absence from Hazy City, the dragon had visited nurous worlds, but in terms of gains, well, let’s just say it wasn’t much—only its experiences had broadened.
Mainly because the environntal levels of those worlds it visited were never beyond its own world. The highest was rely what’s referred to as a Level 4 standard. After arriving, it was still a top-tier existence, with its intimidation maxed out. Every ti it encountered the natives, it just needed to fly around a couple of tis, let out a few roars, breathe so fire, and there wouldn’t be much after that.
The natives weren’t foolish enough to pick a fight with a powerful fire dragon.
Of course, there were so who couldn’t see their own capabilities clearly, like those who tried to beco dragon slaying heroes after encountering the dragon, refusing to negotiate or trade.
In the end, there was no aftermath.
But when it saw Zheng Yichen again, well, the fire dragon sensed that the Divinity emanating from him had grown even stronger.
"Who the hell wouldn’t be envious? Right now, you feel like a half-god or sothing," the fire dragon complained.
"Hahaha." Zheng Yichen laughed and changed the subject, "If soone interferes with the environnt, is it still possible to cast magic normally?"
"Of course it is. It depends on how well a person understands magic. Let tell you, anyone who knows magic has at least so capability to interfere with magic. It’s a basic skill for a caster."
The fire dragon briefly explained magical combat between mages to Zheng Yichen. On the face of it, it looked similar to what’s depicted in so dia—two magic users bombarding each other with spells. In reality, there was much more complexity involved.
Magic seals, magic interference, and such, all could affect a spellcaster’s abilities.
"So how does one counter such tactics?"
"It all boils down to the individual’s understanding of their power. For instance, if your power is truly absolute, then seals will be ineffective; or, if you can use and control power very delicately, even if the environnt is affected, as long as the Elents power exists, it won’t affect you," explained the fire dragon, revealing two thods.
"There’s another way you probably won’t be able to learn, which is using magic to counteract magic."
You interfere with your magic, and I handle mine. Ideally, the spells can clash and neutralize each other, leading to similar impacts on everyone involved. It might look wasteful, but it’s a necessary tactic—you don’t use it, and your opponent might, then you can’t complain when you’re pinned down and beaten.
"Got it, want to have a friendly spar?"
"...what for, if you want to beat just say it straight up." The fire dragon gave Zheng Yichen a sideways glance: "Are we still playing gas or not?"
"Yes, let’s play."
After playing gas with the fire dragon, Zheng Yichen left the dragon’s laboratory with so newly obtained materials, including so of the fire dragon’s blood and magic like magic interference the dragon had shared with him.
He might not be able to master such things right away, but he could find a specialist to turn them into an item. Even if he couldn’t achieve the full effect, having such items would be useful, especially against devices like special ability interference devices, allowing his own power to function normally.
He’d let the witch research the power of magic while he focused on training. The feedback from the blood absorbed from that gigantic heart had been digested. After a simple test, Zheng Yichen found that under the sa conditions, his power Performance Coefficient had doubled.
This was without factoring in any combat skills or physical transformation, aning that under the premise that everyone in this world had the exact sa physical strength and limit, Zheng Yichen’s normal power output was twice that of another person without using any special techniques.
In terms of physical fitness, he’d possess more resilient defensive and recovery capabilities. Although his Performance Coefficient couldn’t compare with creatures like dragons, compared to a normal person, he held an absolute advantage.
He hadn’t discovered any special ability traits like Elents power, probably because the heart hadn’t fully matured before being destroyed, but Zheng Yichen did notice so changes in his eyes. It was only by chance that he found out he was immune to the deceptive effects of magic items while watching Eileena research magic.
After detecting these changes, he began additional tests and discovered that illusions and maze spells had no effect on him. Further testing revealed that so projection techniques were still effective against him.
Scientific projections were just images and didn’t involve special forces. However, if it was magic-based change, when Zheng Yichen looked at soone, he could sense a discordant feeling. Not that he could directly see their true form, but such beings would have a distinct layer of ’anomaly’ about them.
After all, such transformations were caused by so special power. To maintain such a change continuously, that power had to be active, and Zheng Yichen would perceive a discordant ’light effect’ coming from it.

If it’s the kind of plastic surgery that involves direct operations... it is currently not within that scope.
Zheng Yichen and the two witches had discussed this, and the result of the discussion was that this feature had not yet been fully utilized.
It might also be that the monster that erged from the heart was too weak. After all, it appeared only after Zheng Yichen had drained most of the blood from that heart. Eileena analyzed that these ’illusion-breaking’ eyes should not be limited to just seeing the surface level.
After all, the creature Zheng Yichen dealt with was a Divinity creature. How could such special vision be affected by re projections?
Plastic surgery? Even less would it be affected, for illusion-breaking is about seeing through to the essence. Against those shape-shifting creatures, it is not enough to rely see the light effects that co with the surface changes; these special eyes should supposedly synchronize with the soul directly.
Only when it reached that extent would it be truly considered ’illusion-breaking’, no matter how the target changes thousands of tis. As long as the essence of the soul remains unchanged, the external changes are aningless.
If there are too many changes that do not correspond to the soul’s true state, then the target might appear as a ’superimposed’ state in these eyes.
This special vision could still be developed further. Perhaps the reason it can only do this much at the mont is that Zheng Yichen doesn’t know how to use it and can only exert its effects passively, or perhaps the feature he acquired this ti simply isn’t strong enough to do more.
But regardless of which it is, having sothing is certainly better than having nothing at all.
In any case, Zheng Yichen was quite satisfied. Even if he were to face the sa situation again, he wouldn’t repeatedly stimulate that heart, nor would he wait for the creature to erge when the heart was intact. The creature that erged from the severely damaged heart was already tough to handle, let alone one from a heart in better condition.
In this regard, Zheng Yichen was not frivolous. He had experienced fighting a Divinity creature before. During the battle with the battle-state Asura, he nearly got killed. If it weren’t for the infighting among the Supre Demons, he wouldn’t have so much trouble.
In his backyard, while practicing martial arts, Zheng Yichen’s phone rang. It was a call from Ahn Longling: "Do you have ti? I need your help here."
"Location?"
"At Ahn Qi’s place, I’m here with her."
Zheng Yichen exhaled, not bothered by the interruption to his training. The progress of his Blood Asura martial arts was too slow with daily practice, and the combat thods in the last world were based on special ability clashes, which didn’t leave much room for Blood Asura to shine. He was currently practicing techniques for the physical body.
The knowledge ca from the world he had experienced with Ahn Qi.
He changed into a fresh set of clothes and left ho. This ti, he took a taxi. His motorcycle had been sent back to the place of its origin for so modifications, including but not limited to system upgrades. So technologies Zheng Yichen had acquired from Chiang Wei’s world were also being integrated to enhance its projection functions.
At the wealthy lady Ahn’s ho, Zheng Yichen felt inevitably a strange sensation when looking at the pair of sisters, which was related to what he learned about their mother.
Ahn Longling got straight to the point and pulled out a file bag: "This is what we need to do this ti."
He began to look over the information inside the file bag. Situations originating from their own world generally involved sothing that had co over from so strange phenona and had gone undiscovered for a while, and furthermore, was very difficult to handle.
But the content Zheng Yichen saw in this file was different: "Uh? A test subject??"
"...Right," Ahn Longling nodded, "An escapee from the Ahn family’s experint."
"The Ahn family shouldn’t be unable to handle a re test subject, right?" Zheng Yichen continued reading the file, but after finishing, he understood what the situation was. He thought that if he wasn’t wrong, this test subject represented the kind with a very high Performance Coefficient of attribute manifestation. That was one thing, but the key was that the test subject was also a master.
Not large in stature, just a little over two ters tall, with extrely fast speed, a certain level of intelligence, and a body capable of withstanding bullets without harm. The test subject had gone out of control during an external field test and escaped. The loss of control resulted from a partial awakening of mories due to the stimuli of the experints.
"I’ve been tracking this test subject for a while now, and it wasn’t until today that I found his trail."
"This test subject wouldn’t happen to be that prisoner from before, would it?" Zheng Yichen turned to Ahn Qi.
Ahn Qi nodded and said, "It’s him. After the knowledge he contained was extracted, his body underwent so experintal modifications, and what you see are the results."
Zheng Yichen glanced down at so photos in the file bag. The subject was humanoid but had thick dark red scales on his body surface. The face had also changed significantly, rendering his original appearance completely unrecognizable; he had beco a half-dragon hominid.
"I’ve recently learned so combat skills that are actually his. It would be good to spar with him, but I don’t care whether he lives or dies."
That was Zheng Yichen’s condition.
