The Dusk rcenaries had co to another world to carry out missions for the sake of profit and future developnt, not to deliberately generate conflict with the natives. While so Dusk hunters were quite nasty, they did not represent the whole group, and so of the natives were also quite powerful.

Not to ntion the addition of a Proxy Agent. Originally, after they arrived in the vicinity, they planned to scope out the situation but found that the fortress had fallen into a state of paralysis. Although there was another layer of isolation barriers, its main function was to block signals.
They could easily circumvent it and sneak in. After entering, they beca even more certain of the fortress’s status—an excellent opportunity indeed. Yet, no one expected that the place would suddenly resu normal operations...
Had they known this, they would have been better off fleeing earlier and buying so high-tech gadgets, acting as temporary black marketeers. Dusk didn’t prohibit this—the only requirent was money. Although money was fastest to obtain by looting, which Dusk rcenaries weren’t talented at?
It was not hard for them to earn money the regular way.
"Who are those people?" Chang Wenhua asked, watching the video in the monitor. Before Zheng Yichen could answer, his communicator rang again. He frowned and, after answering, he snorted, "Soone’s getting restless again."
"Oh? Are they causing a disturbance?"
"Hmph, they want to escape!"
"You could let those Dusk rcenaries get involved in this. They share the sa stance as I do—we’re all here to solve so problems. However, I’m not familiar with them and can’t guarantee they won’t do other things while resolving the issues."
"..." Chang Wenhua twitched at the corner of his eyes, so what exactly are you guys? "No need... Forget it, I’ll have soone talk to them."
When the Dusk rcenaries heard that there were Boundary Breakers trying to flee, they were imdiately pumped up. They would not intervene directly with matters inside the fortress, but those who escaped were a different story: "Leave this to us; later, we will exchange their heads for the bounty!"
"Ahem, for rewards." The person in charge of negotiations said with a subtle expression: "Satellite positioning can help you lock onto their location, but if they hide where the satellite can’t monitor, then it’s up to you."

So to them, Boundary Breakers were like moving bags of bounty, not to be missed if possible. They seed even more eager than the pursuit team.

Just plant a seed, and if the officials of that world had ambitious developnt plans, they would push that project vigorously. Once the Eye of Ti and Space was completed, everything would be set in stone, beyond the point of change.
At that point, the resulting shockwave would first wipe out those who could not withstand it, and the surviving remnants would be subsud into the Great World, a re afterthought. Revenge?
First, you’d need to find your enemy, and even if you could seek revenge afterward, what then? You’d already be part of the Great World, and the living would just have to continue their lives, rely in a different place. Ti would erase the traces of the past.
"Damn it—" Chang Wenhua sweated after going through the information, realizing that they thought they were the hunters, but in the grander scale of the universe, they were rely prey.
"I actually find this machine quite fascinating." Zheng Yichen rubbed his chin while looking at the information. The data was incomplete, probably owing to the brains not being preserved well enough.
"It’s like a ’brain in a vat’ technology; what we observe are the scans of information inside the brain, but the actual situation is like this." Chiang Wei manipulated the control console, and a projection screen appeared, displaying a small white room on it.
