"We weren’t prepared with enough weaponry to take down this creature; the cost would have been extraordinarily high," said an experienced Alien Phenonon hunter as he examined the sandworm’s corpse, its fatal injury being that both of its hearts had been destroyed.

The inside of the creature’s body was torn apart by so powerful attack. As for who did it, they hadn’t seen, they were just following the group leader’s instructions to deal with the sandworm’s corpse.

They had to move quickly, as scouts had spotted the local natives approaching, and these were not ordinary individuals. It was clear that they ca with the intention of confronting invaders.

"But it’s already dead," another hunter stated, poking the sandworm’s corpse with the dagger in his hand. Even in death, the creature’s skin remained tough, and it was difficult for the dagger to penetrate.

"That’s what’s so outrageous. It hasn’t even been half an hour since we received the notification," he added.

In the temporary camp enshrouded in otherworldly mist, Zheng Yichen looked at his phone, his mouth twitching involuntarily. He had just received a ssage from Dusk, five minutes ago.

The ssage was a repetitive one, the first likely from Hazy City, and the second from the Dusk Territory of this world... He wondered whether the Dusk Territory here was a church or sothing more akin to a sect-style organization.

The content of both ssages was similar, requesting him to go to the local Dusk Territory either tomorrow or today, then to tidy up and prepare to work as his vacation had ended.

Zheng Yichen wondered what it would an for him if he went to this world’s Dusk Territory.

Would it be changing workplaces or akin to going to work at another branch of the sa employer? If it were the latter, the essence would be the sa as his previous job, just without any acquaintances around.

Regardless, what had to co would always co. This ti, considering the ti, his vacation was much longer than before. His stay in Hazy City was short because he hadn’t returned imdiately last ti and had spent half a month dealing with things in that other world.

"Are you finished washing up? Then hurry and change clothes," said Ahn Qi, walking over to Zheng Yichen, who still had wet hair. They had a professional team here; the hunters group had set up the temporary camp as quickly as possible... without any need for construction.

The vehicles that drove in unfolded into a temporary camp.

There was even a chance to shower here, and having just fought with a sandworm, Zheng Yichen was covered in quite a bit of blood.

"What happened?" Zheng Yichen asked, noticing Ahn Qi looking sowhat anxious, as he picked up a shirt from nearby to wear.

Watching him pull the hair out of the shirt as he dressed, Ahn Qi’s expression remained unchanged. She had been through this experience before when her hair was longer; now with short hair, she no longer had to worry about it.

"The local natives have co, and it’s the military," she said. In another world, Ahn Qi wouldn’t have been so concerned, but this world had an intensity level of 4.

Though a level 4 environnt wasn’t rare, it was also not common—the majority of environnts were around level 3. She had encountered quite a few level 4 environnts, but that didn’t an she could afford to be careless.

Especially when found by the local military forces.

In a world with intensity level 4, the warriors flying in by plane could definitely land without parachutes if need be, if not all of them, then at least a significant number.

The hunters group had many people, but Ahn Qi didn’t want to engage in a tough confrontation under these circumstances and risk casualties. Her hunters group was primarily a business... at least when conditions were equal.

The fire dragon couldn’t be deployed here; generally, urban phenonon didn’t involve fire dragons.

"How many did they send?"

"A lot."

Once he’d changed clothes... stepping outside, Zheng Yichen understood the aning of "a lot": there were more than twenty fighter jets circling nearby, so paratroopers, and warriors directly dropping from the sky. The energy level of this world was lacking, but the intensity level was strong.

It was the type of place where, with the right training, a person could beco significantly stronger.

"We don’t plan to initiate a conflict, do we?"

Ahn Qi nodded, "Of course not. Conflict would only waste our ti. It depends on whether they’re willing to negotiate properly."

When dealing with natives, so had the idea of capturing them for research, and it wasn’t uncommon for others to kill or plunder.

"Technologically speaking, this world isn’t much different from ours," Ahn Qi continued. But in terms of the physical capabilities of warriors, even not considering the average, individuals were much stronger here. Alien Phenonon hunters had adaptability, but their growth levels varied.

Of the Alien Phenonon hunters that had co here, nearly half had only a Level 1 growth level, a few had Level 2, and there was one with Level 3 growth level.

This level definition was also research conducted by the Ahn family. A Level 3 growth level ant that the hunter could maintain their strength at a near-proportional level in worlds with an intensity level or energy level of 3.

An Alien Phenonon hunter with a growth level of 3 who had a composite attribute of 89.9% of the limit in a Level 2 environnt would be adjusted to around 70% in a Level 3 environnt, with the decimal rounded down.

In an environnt where the growth level was equal, that’s how it worked; the overall ratio decreased, but since their attributes in the high-level environnt also increased, they would still feel a significant boost in strength.
