"How could a big shot easily enter the fray? There aren’t really that many Proxy Agents, and with our nurical superiority, as long as we can make it to the next round, the Proxy Agents won’t be able to be as efficient in putting out fires."

Another Boundary Breaker said, while a bandaged Boundary Breaker swore under his breath, "That bunch of brain-dead Equilibrium Faction..."

The operation of the Boundary Breakers was straightforward: break the barriers of the chosen world and incorporate it into their Great World, which doesn’t produce any Proxy Agents at all. The Equilibrium Faction, on the other hand, focused on targeting the Dusk Cathedral, trying to produce a chicken from an egg.

Although envious of this tactic, Dusk was a special place; he too wanted to strike at the Dusk Cathedral, to prove himself.

But his kind of behavior was just rolling over the Dusk Cathedral with external forces, while the Equilibrium Faction sought to throw so kind of ’bomb’ into the Dusk Cathedral and break another kind of ’barrier.’ Worlds that had this second type of barrier broken would then achieve resource balance in terms of their World Origin.

His faction and the Equilibrium Faction were adversaries, even more so than with the Dusk Territory. The Dusk Territory was more of a passive player, the type that says you can stir up trouble in any world, as long as you don’t shake the foundation of that world; they wouldn’t interfere at all, and no Dusk rcenary would appear.

Unless a Dusk rcenary got lucky, encountering so otherworldly event in a world they were ddling with but not planning to destroy the foundation of, and couldn’t stand by the injustice and decided to confront them.

The Equilibrium Faction was different; within their Great World, they had to allocate a part of their forces to help Dusk monitor the Dusk Cathedrals within their worlds.

They were also keeping an eye on those of the Equilibrium Faction, to prevent them from smuggling so kind of sabotage through the Dusk Cathedral in their Great World.

Such occurrences weren’t rare; their Great World was vast, resulting in a high frequency of otherworldly events. To those from the Equilibrium Faction, if they could blow up the World Origin repository within their world, they would consider their mission accomplished.

They’re insane; if every World Origin was balanced and everything was equal, what’s the point in trying to be superior? Besides, it could be harmful to themselves. If they encountered a barren world, it ant that more resources would need to be balanced out.

Unlike them, with their Great World’s foundation constantly expanding, all limits, as well as the resources within their world, were rapidly increasing. They selected worlds that weren’t barren, one successful conquest would be enough to satisfy them.

As long as the limits of the world kept on elevating, their power would also increase. After breaking through their limits, they could reach the pinnacle in any lower-level world they visited, even if they were at 90% of their peak power, they still walked sideways.

The prerequisite, though, was that the power hierarchy of that world could ignore firearms; if it couldn’t, then forget it, unless one was prepared with so really impressive gear. They didn’t want to possess imnse power only to be suppressed by Environntal Adjustnt in a world akin to a novice village and get killed with guns.

For them, worlds balanced by the World Origin were toxic. Upon encountering them, the Boundary Breakers could only swear and give up, rather than break the boundary.

ssing with such worlds would cause their Great World to leak energy, a slow process, but the hole is difficult to plug. As for their own Dusk Cathedral being blasted, it would be like the entire sphere exploding, not just an air leak from a pinhole.

Therefore, if they encountered Equilibrists in certain worlds, they would definitely take the opportunity to strike and kill those people. Since everyone was targeting the sa place, there was nothing to discuss, and even if the Equilibrium Faction was not picky and willing to back down, they would not let them retreat easily.

Giving up on their side was like giving up on blowing up the stronghold in the Great World.

Catching one and killing them was the right approach!

The most egregiously evil act they committed was that their actions brought about the greatest number of Proxy Agents. That group of people liked to find so unlucky bastards who had unwittingly encountered anomalies, earn their trust, and make them into ignorant ’terrorists,’ sending them off with bombs ready to detonate into the Dusk Cathedral.

Out of these people, hardly one in ten would beco a Proxy Agent, but as soon as one did, they would subsequently beco a problem for them.

Therefore, when it ca to how much they were hated, the Equilibrium Faction was more despised. Without them, there would be hardly any Proxy Agents, who often had no choice but to work for Dusk.

This was a matter of stance. If they didn’t work, they would be waiting for death. But by working, they could live freely and aspire to reach the pinnacle. Given the choice, how could they not do their jobs well?

Previously, when there were only Dusk rcenaries, their success rate for outings was quite high. After the ergence of Proxy Agents, their success rate significantly dropped, and so of the big shots even died. Consequently, they changed their strategy and vigorously developed organizational mbers.

It was about playing the numbers ga, and at the sa ti, trying to find ways to kill off the Equilibrium Faction.

Otherwise, the number of Proxy Agents that they managed to take care of was still less than the number the Equilibrium Faction created.

In the future, once the number of Proxy Agents decreased, they could go back to carefully selecting high-quality worlds like before, where one al would be enough to keep them satisfied.

But the problem was, they didn’t want to fail when they encountered Proxy Agents either. This was similar to going out for business. If they succeeded, there would be promotions, pay raises, and hefty bonuses upon their return; whereas a failure would an going back empty-handed and, not only getting nothing but also facing punishnt—even if it involved Proxy Agents, at most, the severity of the punishnt would be lessened.

And if they managed to complete a task after encountering Proxy Agents, a promotion was inevitable. Succeeding under the pressure of Proxy Agents was a proof of capability. Whether it was luck or not, what mattered was getting the job done.

In the future... who could be unlucky enough to keep encountering Proxy Agents every day?

"With that kind of strength, the arrangents from Ming Yue’s side won’t work either. We’ll have to see what the native Supre Demons can achieve."

"Let’s just wait and see. Anyway, the at mountain I prepared is now useless."

The stockpile of monsters on this side was for communal use, and what Zheng Yichen had encountered previously had been for private use. Even after mobilizing one, it had still run into Zheng Yichen, and now that creature had been effortlessly dealt with by Zheng Yichen as well, making the subsequent use of the stockpiled at mountain a re waste.

Wasting too much of it could affect the ti they needed to wait for the Boundary Break.

Those Supre Demons had enjoyed the benefits of a high Environntal Adjustnt. Zheng Yichen’s subsequent destructive acts were equivalent to affecting their interests, but those Supre Demons were so proud and arrogant. When they first t, they kept referring to mortals in a disparaging way. Once this world was absorbed into the Great World, not one of those Supre Demons would have a good life.

On Zheng Yichen’s side, as the Demon Flower gradually beca clearer, a massive saber Qi not only slashed so Aberrant creatures to pieces but also tore the ground asunder, creating a long trench that blocked their path.

"Here they co. Take care of yourselves." Zheng Yichen stepped out of the car, and from the dust left by the saber Qi, a figure over three ters tall with eight arms erged.
