"Should this news be made public? Many Dusk rcenaries have discovered damage to the Sky nding chains."
During the Initial Shock Phase, Hazy City conducted ergency response work, but the Sky nding chains are too extensive, and the Dusk rcenaries are not blind. Upon seeing cracks near the Dusk Territory, they naturally felt unsettled.
Everyone knows these chains are crucial!
"Make it public. They aren’t blind. Suppressing information will only cause bigger problems." Zheng Yichen directly returned to the Dusk Territory.
The plaza was already crowded with Dusk rcenaries, and quite a few Proxy Agents were present.
Up to now, not many Proxy Agents have used World Tree fruit. Lilith has counted only over five hundred, the rest haven’t obtained World Tree fruit.
They prefer to be passengers rather than drivers. The Dusk’s reserved instances can prevent them from being completely killed by the curse, but as long as they remain in possession of World Tree fruit, they will be re-afflicted by the curse.
This object won’t develop resistance over prolonged bearing; cursed to death, they only avoid becoming Curse Protectors due to Dusk’s reserved instances.
Proxy Agents aren’t especially responsible for world protection; the Dusk’s rules force them to be. There are quite a few lowlifes among Proxy Agents.
Of course, these people don’t want to risk their lives to bear the curse prolonging all beings.
"Due to the tremor, the Sky nding chains of the Great World can only last for 933 years now, and the cause was a Boundary Breaking Organization blowing up a world similar to Misty City World."
Zheng Yichen clearly stated the cause, his voice not loud yet audible to everyone in the plaza. The hearts of the Dusk rcenaries there twinged.
The millennial disaster was already hopeless, and now it lost over sixty years because of the Boundary Breaker’s explosion.
No one had anticipated the blowing up of a world similar to Misty City World would lead to such dire consequences. If only they had followed Zheng Yichen’s request to find these worlds earlier!
Before this, so intended to find those worlds and negotiate by withholding the information with Zheng Yichen, but now those thoughts have vanished entirely.
Whether they can be found is another matter, but if sothing similar happens again, can everyone survive? With another Misty City World blown up, it also ans one less target to find.
"Also, as a new Proxy Agent, my reserved instances are limited. If on a mission, I accidentally encounter a demolition-bound organization, I’ll likely need to use reserved instances to counteract a mission failure."
What Zheng Yichen said made the Dusk rcenaries present even heavier in spirit.
Zheng Yichen’s overwhelming strength made many overlook this point, yet no matter how strong, he is still a Proxy Agent, bound by Dusk.
After a mission failure, Dusk treats everyone equally, aning once Zheng Yichen’s reserved instances deplete, he’ll face ’freezing’ after a pressured mission failure.
If Zheng Yichen disappears, and the tremors further damage the Sky nding chains... is there still hope?
"If the Sky nding chains aren’t repaired, how long do we have?"
"About four hundred years. Even if repaired, the quality won’t match the past. If another tremor occurs, repaired or not, based on current quality, there would be at most eight hundred years."
The Sky nding chains don’t transform after breaking; repairs simply slow down the chains’ durability decrent.
"Alright, that’s all I can say. If there are no further tremors, round nine hundred odd years up, it’s still a thousand year mark. Keep striving, everyone."
Zheng Yichen concluded and left, needing to continue gathering resources and shutting himself in for training.
The Dusk rcenaries couldn’t sit tight and quickly relayed the news.
Within two days, those fragnted Boundary Breaking Organizations faced new assaults, bewildered by how the already problematic Dusk rcenaries suddenly went berserk.
The desperate acts increased, catching many Boundary Breaking Organizations off guard, leading to quite a few being directly obliterated.
Yet so passed on the information to other Boundary Breaking Organizations before destruction.
They initially didn’t grasp what was happening, but Boundary Breaking Organizations have ways of obtaining intel, extracting from deceased Dusk rcenaries’ remains.
Upon discovering the Great World’s tremor intel, these organizations too went into frenzy, realizing it wasn’t just Dusk forces losing it but they were genuinely panicked.
Another organization within allied sectors conducted a major operation, blowing up a world akin to Misty City World, directly inducing a Great World tremor.
Bringing forward the millennial disaster by over sixty years, more blows an utter despair for Dusk rcenaries.
Having learned about these happenings, the Boundary Breaking Organizations grew more frenzied than the Dusk rcenaries.
They were initially a cohort awaiting judgnt, dragging others into mutual destruction; now having glimpsed ’hope,’ why wouldn’t they go mad? Especially seeing the enemies panic.
The more panicked the enemy, the more it affird their impact — recognition of accomplishnt.
"This is... chaotic indeed."
Half a month later, Wu Lingluo rubbed her forehead; now the Collective World is in full-scale war.
The Boundary Breaking Organizations seem frantic, the Dusk rcenaries equally frantic for survival, both completely red-eyed, escalating the war fierceness.
Dusk rcenaries suppress the Boundary Breaking Organizations intensely, prompting stronger counterattacks from them, only to be t with even fiercer suppression — a recurring cycle creating this situation.
