Whereas Life Creation ca directly from contacting the Sea of Chaos, performing a series of ’feeding’ tests, and the direct perception up close.
The differences between the two were vast.

Though his Life Creation now overrides Oblivion, the strength of creation can’t suppress the influence of Oblivion.
