The ones suffering weren’t Zheng Yichen, but those Proxy Agents.

"Now that we’re here, it’s up to each of our skills. As long as we can deal with the Unifying engine, there’s no threat from the local forces in this world."

One Proxy Agent took a breath, his skin turning scarlet and entering a frenzied state: "Don’t get too close to later!"

Boom—

A Scarlet Shadow approaching was sent flying out, with the frenzied turbulence filling the entire control room, instantly destroying the small items here, but the main equipnt remained intact.

The frontal confrontation caused the Proxy Agent’s arm to bend slightly, but with a crisp sound of cracking, the bent arm returned to normal.

This wasn’t recovery but forcibly relocating the broken bones.

How to resolve the Unifying engine doesn’t require competition; those with skills can go ahead and do it. The rewards for the Extermination Order are completely consistent.

There won’t be extra rit points just because soone is the main force.

Of course, those slacking off would certainly face Dusk’s punishnt.

"Your Illusion Array is a bit weak." Zheng Yichen comnted, unable to resist after Scarlett Shadows started appearing around him, and the Illusion Array Lilith had created was broken on the spot.

Lilith reconstructed the Illusion Array, blocking the incoming Scarlet Shadows and creating more space for maneuver for Zheng Yichen. The Illusion Array wasn’t important; even if it was broken, she could instantly create a new one.

The cover provided by the Illusion Array was crucial.

Zheng Yichen avoided the attacks from the Scarlet Shadows, glanced around, and reached out to grab the chair here, but it was fixed in place, unable to be moved.

He directly changed his combat style, maintaining the tamorphosed body, Zheng Yichen moved like the wind, under the heavy pressure of the Red Shadow Warrior’s attacks, he could effortlessly dodge these assaults.

Arriving by the window, Zheng Yichen reached out to tap it, unsurprisingly discovering it looked like glass but was actually sothing akin to World Barrier.

This ’glass’ was ford by folding World Barrier.

This thing was a trap, placed here for the Proxy Agents to see, but attempting to break the window to reach the Unifying engine would only result in being hit hard.

"So you all really aren’t lucky." When the Scarlet Shadows broke the Illusion Array again and charged over, Zheng Yichen elbowed the glass.

The cracking sound paused the fierce battle in the control room montarily, and those quick to react hastily took cover.

Such sudden noise exclaid a sense of danger.

Even not knowing what happened, evading now was the right choice.

The shattered glass exposed the control room to a strong ’radiation’; bathed in the dark red sunlight, the surface of the Scarlet Shadows began to crystallize.

Much like how the Devourers ingested excessive Sky Pillar’s energy.

While surprised, Zheng Yichen quickly understood the situation, based on the information Lilith previously gathered from the control room, this world developed to this point using the Devourer heritage.

Though it was a fragnted heritage, the foundation of nurous technologies originated from those employed by the Devourers.

Only through original bases, new developnts have been made, evolving into newer technology.

It’s comparable to genius innovation.

But no matter how innovative, so foundations remain unchanged.

This Unifying engine must be made of World Origin core, right?

Devouring Sky Pillar, when extracting from the world, first weakens it to a certain degree and then carries off the World Origin core.

The native forces of this world didn’t weaken the whole world first but directly ’remodeled’ this thing, hence this Unifying engine is exceptionally ’sturdy’, emitting strong ’radiation’ as well.

Even Scarlet Shadows couldn’t withstand.

Zheng Yichen’s body was also covered with a layer of red crystallization, this layer swiftly peeled off; the World Origin Force would crystallize the contactor, but Oblivion wasn’t afraid of this stuff.

Though Zheng Yichen’s Oblivion wasn’t the original, Oblivion affected him more significantly, and comparatively, the radiation from World Origin Force wasn’t a major issue.

The Red Shadow Warriors crystallized on the surface tried to block Zheng Yichen, but due to crystallization, their bodies beca sluggish, and Zheng Yichen didn’t look back as he leaped out from the window.

Previously accumulated strength from scraping off the land was all released, forming a Fantasy Great Array Formation centered around him, then an almost original Devouring Sky Pillar appeared.

Devouring Sky Pillar was specifically against such things, and it ignored the impact of dark red light, akin to a parasite touching the ’sun’.

Zheng Yichen didn’t intend to destroy this thing, not being sure if destroying this object would result in the world’s ’Oblivion’.

All he planned was to peel off the Unifying engine’s shell.

With the effect of the Devouring Sky Pillar, an expansive phenonon erged beside Zheng Yichen, correlating with his inner Heaven and Earth.

The vast starry sky enveloped this dark environnt in the blink of an eye, stretching infinitely the distance between Zheng Yichen and the approaching Scarlet Shadows aiming to destroy the Devouring Sky Pillar.

Mastering the Devouring Sky Pillar, Zheng Yichen utilized the extracted power to sustain the phenonon sturdily.

In this vast starry sky, the World Tree erged further, becoming the pillar within this Alien Phenonon environnt, with the Devouring Sky Pillar connecting the World Tree.

The power extracted from the Unifying engine was transmitted out and then redistributed throughout this world via the World Tree.

Throughout the entire process, Zheng Yichen played the role of an almost unpaid middleman.

"Boss, I’ve detected traces of the Devouring Sky Pillar on the Unifying engine. There’s a high possibility that the native factions modified the ’Devouring Sky Pillar’, turning it into the Unifying engine."

"They truly are geniuses." Without any hesitation, Zheng Yichen followed the Devouring Sky Pillar to the side of the Unifying engine.

The intense dark red light shone upon him, causing his body to crystallize once again. The process was slow but irreversible.

The fishing rod was enveloped by a black substance, wielding an Oblivion attack as it struck the Unifying engine.

The dark red ’sun’ was instantly covered in cracks, and pale light began to erge from these cracks.

This is the right color, indeed...

Like peeling an eggshell, Zheng Yichen beca much more cautious after breaking through the outer shell of the Unifying engine, carefully smashing layer after layer of it.

He even grabbed a piece of dark red crystal and took a taste, finding it spicy and scorching, completely opposite to the coolness of the Devouring Sky Pillar.

Moreover, the power generated after consumption was more frenzied.

Overall, this thing seems less stable than the Devouring Sky Pillar?

"Boss, there should be a main control ’chip’ inside; don’t destroy it."

"...There is such a thing?" Zheng Yichen beca even more careful.

Lilith said, "Nothing normal can withstand the effects of crystallization, so the Unifying engine had to be made with the sa materials."

Lilith was anxious now; she couldn’t even manifest an external projection. As soon as the projection appeared, it would crystallize under the radiation emitted by the Unifying engine, making signals even less useful.

She could only maintain a connection with Zheng Yichen internally in his body.

Otherwise, she could use a wide-range scan to find what she was looking for.

But now, she could only observe through Zheng Yichen’s perspective.

As the enormous outer shell of the Unifying engine was gradually peeled away, the color of the World Origin core was also gradually restored to normal.

Looking at the pale sphere, Zheng Yichen grinned slightly; the Unifying engine was red, but the radiance it emitted ca from this core.

With part of the Unifying engine’s shell gone, the light it emitted was even more lethal!

The Unifying engine itself was sothing similar to a Dyson Sphere.

Not having removed the main part yet, it did not affect the operation of that thing. After confirming this, Zheng Yichen worked faster.

Crunch, crunch.

Inside the control room, a group of Proxy Agents were under imnse pressure. Those Scarlet Shadows were berserk, having no specific target to focus on anymore. Instead, they attacked anyone who approached, and if no one did, they would simply find the nearest target.

The control room was flooded with dark red light, and outside the shattered window lay the deep Starry Sky Universe, with the massive World Tree as the center of that universe.

The insignificant light from the Unifying engine ignored that cosmic phenonon and reached straight into the control room.

In such an environnt, moving even slightly caused bits of them to crumble. Fortunately, with part of the Unifying engine damaged and its power affected, the influence of Parallel Differentiation on them was not as severe.

The locked Regenerative Ability could function normally, affecting the strength of the Scarlet Shadows as well.

Adding to the Scarlet Shadows’ madness, the intelligent Proxy Agents had already left the control room first.

Since strong allies were handling the Unifying engine, they should instead manage other matters.

For example, annihilating the roots.

The Extermination Order was not just for destroying the Unifying engine. Even if that thing was destroyed, without eliminating those who possessed the knowledge, the world’s natives could still potentially create a new Unifying engine.

By clearing out those scientists, the top local faction mbers, and so on, the hazards left in this world could be completely eradicated.

The base associated with the control room started catching fire everywhere.

The scale of this base was trendously vast, ho to many of the world’s natives.

So areas resembled natural environnts, and without a doubt, the natives living here were core mbers of the local factions.

Compared to other natives in the parallel space, those on this side all needed to be eradicated.

Given the trait of being Undying and Indestructible that these natives had, they didn’t deal with these people by killing them, as slaughter proved useless.

They used sealing and curses to restrain these people, gathering them together, to clean them out completely after the Unifying engine was fully dismantled.

"Their high-ranking mbers ran away, huh, lacking any accountability."

After using soul-searching, two Proxy Agents imdiately obtained intelligence on the local faction’s high-ranking mbers, found their whereabouts, and besides encountering an ambush and sustaining injuries, they couldn’t locate the main targets at all.
