With fewer Proxy Agents, the number of Dusk rcenaries is not keeping up, and those remaining aren’t fools. Ultimately, how many can persist?
Even if Dusk adjusts in the future, hasn’t this side already developed to surpass Dusk?
Thinking of this, Ban Long’s body trembled slightly. Suppressing injuries that felt like his internal organs were rebelling, he stood up, staring intently at Zheng Yichen, who had already begun exploring the Outer Realm.
This Proxy Agent is already seeking the Boundary Breaking core. As an ’outsider’ at this mont, he could clearly see that although Zheng Yichen was sowhat distant from the core, such distance was insignificant.
He would find it quickly if he chose to look.
The ti calculated by the Eye of the Heavenly Law was just about a day or two.
"Sir Ban Long, your body has surpassed its limit. Further reinforcent will bring irreversible injuries," the staff inside the Eye of the Heavenly Law said nervously.
Ban Long is a staunch loyalist of the Boundary Breaking Organization. After being blasted twice during invasions, any ordinary person would have been gravely injured or even dead, but he still intended to continue fighting, demanding higher force compensation.
If Ban Long doesn’t do this, he still has a chance for treatnt. But if he does, this is his last chance. Even if successful, he will suffer irreversible damage, and failure could an death on the spot.
"It doesn’t matter! This chance is the only one; missing it makes it hard to co by again!" Ban Long said in a deep voice. He then felt his heavy body becoming lighter and the powerful force surging... then that feeling of fulfillnt turned into emptiness.
The compensatory power was drained.
Ban Long beca sluggish, widening his eyes towards the distance, "What does this an!!"
The additional force not only ceased but was even cut off, causing Ban Long to nearly lose his cool, wanting to swap out the Eye of the Heavenly Law staff.
"...Sorry, it’s a direct order from the ’Heavenly Dao,’" the staff’s words silenced Ban Long.
This Heavenly Dao certainly doesn’t refer to the normal one in the world; it’s the core of the Boundary Breaking Organization, extrely mysterious. Ban Long himself had only seen unclear shadows.
It wasn’t about intentionally creating a mysterious feel, but in his view, only insufficient power and multiple restrictions create such mysteries.
The core of the Boundary Breaking Organization does this to avoid the true ’Heavenly Dao’ of the Great World. Although the Great World’s Heavenly Dao isn’t active, as the Great World grows, the native ’Heavenly Dao’ also increases in magnitude.
Not much active response, yet it’s normal to have passive reactions when threatened.
Thus, the core lays low in shadows to avoid direct conflict, until one day they can reverse this relationship.
"I understand." Ban Long unwillingly glanced at the sky, yearning to take down Zheng Yichen in this operation, even with the elent of risk.
But this ti, the attempt at risk was thwarted. He wouldn’t have done this before, but after being heavily influenced by Zheng Yichen’s Oblivion, and his fate being severed, he was no longer at his peak.
If in his normal peak condition, he could maintain it for a long ti; but having lost that state, compounded by fate severance, signifies he’s ’aged.’
Given age, inevitable issues appear, including declining strength, which weakens slowly but surely with ti.
In a normal lifespan, one could still attempt breakthroughs beyond peak, yet he, despite trying, was only maintaining his state, ensuring the decline was slower, though at higher costs than normal tis.
The situation is a lose-lose: not maintaining results in slight weakening; maintaining it slows down devolution but at imnse resource expense, enough to cultivate a strong successor.
Assuming the successor isn’t a fool, with enough talent.
Taking a deep, long breath, the beastly traits on Ban Long faded away. Stopped by force, he freed himself from the elevated state.
If this ti doesn’t work, he would just wait for the next opportunity.
"What’s going on?" Returning from his peak state, the Breakworlders waiting asked in confusion. Among them were enthusiasts eager for combat, awaiting Ban Long’s call to join the fray.
But now, it seed Ban Long wasn’t planning to continue the battle? This left them puzzled.
"Organizational order, this action is abandoned. Proceed with forced Boundary Breaking," Ban Long said with a tight face.
On the way back, he figured it out: he couldn’t overpower this Breakworlder. That’s fine; they gathered new intel and preserved themselves, to better target the foe next ti.
Moreover, this operation originated from trying new technology; Zheng Yichen’s appearance altered plans, but the new technology’s application was sound.
If they could organize this Boundary Breaking, they could do it again.
Not even needing decades of preparation ti.
The Boundary Breaking Organization proceeds with many technologies in saturation. They have abundant resources, resisting pettiness when testing new techniques.
Each new technology experint involves at least a hundred iterations.
Zheng Yichen facing this was just one such instance. Success signifies imminent boomwaves of related Boundary Breakings in months or even years.
This thod of new Boundary Breaking, in terms of secrecy, has already proven strong in risk resistance. Not all Proxy Agents can directly reach the Outer Realm like Zheng Yichen.
Finding the Boundary Breaking core from inside isn’t impossible, but clearly, Zheng Yichen was encountering this for the first ti, resulting in a cumberso search.
He could’ve found it from within, but Zheng Yichen’s Phenonon clearly lacked wide-ranging precise ’perception,’ and his Divine Domain covered less than one percent of the Phenonon.
If his Divine Domain could cover the Phenonon entirely, he might attempt to find the core from within.
He clearly hadn’t accomplished that yet.
Thus, before Zheng Yichen found the Boundary Breaking core, completing the forced Breakworld first would thoroughly crush his recognition of new technology.
Next encounter, he’d still be grasping in the dark, offering the Great World yet another chance against Zheng Yichen.
At this mont, forcing Boundary Breaking seems a bit of a loss for the Great World, given the substantial battle investnts earlier, not yielding primary targets...
Forget it, Ban Long shelved excessive thoughts. The more he pondered, the more irritated he beca; a calm Ban Long was already contemplating the next confrontation with Zheng Yichen.
So, this ti, it’s settled. Forced Breakworld follows, failing the Proxy Agent’s mission, also an unexpected reward.
Failing to be captured by the Boundary Breaking Organization, and the mission failed, Dusk would erase him once; the feeling of being killed by one’s own employer by a Proxy Agent... Well, in retrospect, not too bad.
Ban Long sighed heavily again, hoping this loss control would bring more gains next ti.
