Zheng Yichen took out a gold ornant he had scavenged from a new Alien Phenonon Remnant Zone and thought for a mont before adding a few more: "These should be enough to sustain them for a lifeti, right?"
"That’s enough, you’re very kind," Sister said, her tone was ant to be complintary, but it carried a distinct note of flattery.
"Kind? Hah," Zheng Yichen looked at his own hands and slightly curled his lips. The Apocalypse World had given him a rough ti, and the number of lives that had indirectly fallen by his hands while dealing with Alien Phenonon creatures was not few. Rationally speaking, those lives would have perished due to the Alien Phenonon creatures even if not by his actions.
But in their actual battles, they indeed died because of him.
"There are still two Phenona left... Speaking of which, isn’t this bait too effective? I barely used it and it caused a creature rampage?" Zheng Yichen took out the earlier bait and spoke to Prioress Tia.
"The effect of the bait depends on the creature it attracts. The greater the effect on them, the more it ans consuming you is beneficial to their evolution," explained Prioress Tia to Zheng Yichen, giving him a straightforward reason behind the bait’s potent effect without any mystery.
"Does this an that if I encounter a being attracted by the bait that I can’t overpower, my situation would beco very dangerous?"
"That’s right."
"..." He felt that he still needed to beco stronger.
After taking a bath, Zheng Yichen returned to his previous training spot and resud his training. He was attempting to further enhance the state of Burst Mode, trying to enter that rampage state without the aid of his battle suit, but the result was the sa as before.
He could only maintain a normal Burst Mode state for a longer period, but there was no improvent in other aspects. Affected by Environntal Adjustnt, even though he had dealt with so extraordinarily powerful mutated creatures in the Apocalypse environnt and even devoured them, the feedback hadn’t given him any clear enhancent in strength or physique.
Now, dealing with another gorilla of the sa kind probably wouldn’t bring him any significant improvent.
In terms of enhancents, the first ti was more important. To bring about more significant improvents with the sa kind of species afterwards, you would have to accumulate a large quantity.
This ti, Zheng Yichen had stayed at the Dusk Cathedral for a week, thoroughly digesting the battle feedback before leaving.
The battle didn’t provide any physical enhancent, it was the spirit... or rather, the soul that had improved. With the soul improved, the strength of his spirit also increased, and the ntal burden from the battle suit had beco negligible.
His extraordinary abilities were of the type that grew stronger the more he fought, a kind of fast-tracked ability.

This ti, Zheng Yichen made a detour to the Alien Phenonon zone where the giant serpent resided. In this area, he tried Burst Mode, and the feeling of constipation made the corner of Zheng Yichen’s eye twitch involuntarily. There was the sensation of Burst Mode, but the air-mbrane that could distort the air on his body’s surface didn’t appear.

No wonder technological equipnt was so popular among Alien Phenonon hunters and Dusk hunters, while other weapons could be bought for just so money.
If the battle suit was a technological version, even if it ca to a low-intensity environnt, it could be equipped as usual and the effects would still perform normally without any additional impact on the wearer.
The giant serpent appeared as expected, and like last ti, it could secrete potent venom but rarely used it, secreting the poison only when it was truly aggravated.
The effects of the venom that it secreted last ti hadn’t even disappeared from the ground.
After provoking the giant serpent and collecting enough venom, Zheng Yichen left the Alien Phenonon zone contentedly and moved on to the last mobile phenonon.
