What kind of abnormal world is this? Zheng Yichen stared at the information on the large map, two rings touching each other, why didn’t they explode?
Zheng Yichen looked up at the sky, very doubtful about the current state of this world.
"Is this world a sphere or flat heaven and earth?" Zheng Yichen straightforwardly returned to the Dusk Territory and pulled Tia to ask.
"Flat heaven and earth." Tia imdiately gave the answer.
Having received the answer, Zheng Yichen didn’t say anything else and directly drove off.
Tanshia Firlo was howling inside the built-in space wanting to co out.
After releasing the small white dragon, Zheng Yichen looked at her listless appearance and said, "Why aren’t you sleeping properly, coming out here for what?"
"Sitting in the car makes for a better sleep." Tanshia Firlo sat in the back seat, hugging Zheng Yichen lightly rubbing against him.
Zheng Yichen shook his head and rode off. This ti, the mission duration is twenty-four days, less than a month, which seems quite enough to Zheng Yichen... maybe?
Thinking about the things seen on the big map, Zheng Yichen felt sowhat uneasy. Let’s take one step at a ti, in this wilderness, it’s too hard to gather sufficient intelligence.
Moreover, Zheng Yichen hadn’t seen any remaining Dusk rcenaries in the Dusk Territory here.
Even if they were blown up, so Dusk rcenaries should still be here, but there’s nothing, forcing Zheng Yichen to find suitable intelligence sources on his own.
A figure towing a long trail of dust sped across the savage land.
So beasts glanced at that figure, then bowed their heads to continue gnawing at the prey they had just caught, savoring the tasty internal organs. After the beast left, so birds descended from the sky, pecking at the half-eaten carcass.
Within the thick clouds in the sky, a shadow larger than the clouds flew by, and not long after, a storm blew across this land.
The birds were startled and flew up, they were agile, but still, so were hit and fell by stones lifted by the storm.
"What a strong wind." Zheng Yichen was blown by the gale and looked up at the sky. This wind didn’t carry any special power but was incredibly strong.
The speeding motorcycle deployed a protective force field, warding off the impact of the gale, despite not using the Alien Phenonon manifestation feature, Lilith could deploy such protection.
This wasn’t protection involving special powers but was technology-generated protection, ignoring environntal adjustnts.
"Boss, the creature is extrely dangerous in this environnt," Lilith remotely observed the flying organism in the sky.
A nearly ten-kiloter giant, this is a high-strength grade world, with no specific energy level, aning such a massive creature must sustain its body through sheer physical constitution to survive.
Not to ntion this thing is staying in flight, such a creature’s weight couldn’t be less than fifty billion tons!
Many mountains don’t weigh that much.
If this thing crashes down, the area nearby would suffer a devastating blow.
"My hands itch." Zheng Yichen stared at the great beast within the clouds, occasionally glimpsing its scales and feathers.
This creature is unmistakably an epic-grade organism of this world. If this thing were killed and blood drawn using his extraordinary abilities, the amount of Essence of Life transford might fill up the entire built-in space.
Even the quality of his Essence of Life might be greatly enhanced.
Simply too... tempting.
"I am now assigning a hunt plan."
"Hahaha, just kidding, generally speaking, I wouldn’t act if this thing were a normal creature," Zheng Yichen quickly stated, such a giant has already impacted the environnt’s ecosystem.
After killing it, it might even bring severe effects to the environnt of this area: "I’m just curious about how this creature survives."
Just like Zheng Yichen now, he can go quite long without eating, with the Essence of Life around, a few months without eating is fine, but he can’t forever go without food.
Of course, Zheng Yichen didn’t consider hunting and consuming blood as eating.
So what does such a giant creature eat?
"We can follow and take a look."
Zheng Yichen glanced at the remaining mission ti, twenty-four days, going to have a look isn’t bad, conveniently, the flying creature’s path is along theirs.
This over ten-kiloter enormous flying creature’s speed is swift, causing Zheng Yichen to accelerate to catch up with it, but the commotion here compared to the storm stirred by the creature was minimal.
Without drawing much attention.
Incidentally, this world is truly vast!!
With two hours of travel, swapped to the Misty City World, at his current speed, he could circle the planet dozen tis.
But in this world, after traveling so long, only about one tenth of the distance to the target area is covered.
Seems like compared to universe environnt type worlds, this kind of world isn’t... very large?
The speed of the flying giant began to slow down, but the storm it stirred grew more intense.
The gigantic creature descended from the sky, the fierce storm acting like a cushion. Such a storm on a planet would undoubtedly be an unprecedented destructive storm.
The protective force field unfolded by Lilith began to tremble in this storm.
Boom——
The massive creature that fell from the sky grasped a mountain, its enormous claws tearing through the rocks, pulling out a wriggling worm several kiloters long.
The worm’s struggle caused the earth to shake and the mountains to sway, but it was powerless against this colossal beast. Under the tearing of its non-avian mouth, the giant worm’s body emitted cracking sounds.
Gushing blood erupted forth, forming pools of various sizes on the ground quickly.
But compared to the size of the two creatures, the spilled blood was insignificant.
Once the worm’s defenses were breached, its fate was sealed. The giant flying creature was a proficient predator, and the worm soon beca limp and lifeless.
In the end, the entire massive worm was devoured by the flying creature, which had a head resembling that of a dinosaur.
A new storm appeared yet again. The massive creature flapped its wings that incited the storm, and once the storm accumulated sufficiently, it ’slowly’ took to the skies.
Of course, this slowness is only apparent due to the creature’s size; in reality, its ascent was not slow at all.
Zheng Yichen imdiately went to the site where the flying creature had fed, inspecting the scene.
The worm’s blood that had dripped onto the ground had been swept away cleanly by the storm, leaving nothing behind.
However, Zheng Yichen discovered sothing new among the remnants of the shattered mountain.
It was a tunnel over a kiloter in diater, reminiscent of a wormhole. A faint whistling sound emanated from within as he peeked inside.
These holes seed to connect to so places.
Zheng Yichen restrained his curiosity, refraining from going down. Although he could easily climb back up, he had more pressing matters to attend to.
"This should be where that kind of worm erged." Zheng Yichen scanned the surroundings with his Illusory Eye.
He finally found so debris in the rocky clefts of the mountain remnants.
Of course, these chunks of flesh looked to Zheng Yichen, standing not even two ters tall, like a pile of large at chunks.
He pierced a piece of flesh with the black spear ford from condensing black matter, and it imdiately dried up and crumbled to dust.
Zheng Yichen clicked his tongue, "It doesn’t feel like much. Was it too little?"
He didn’t feel any substantial feedback from it. As for the residual life force contained in the flesh, it was significantly more potent than that of a standard-sized beast, though not by an enormous margin.
After collecting the remaining fragnts, Zheng Yichen imdiately set off on his bike, chasing after the distant flying creature.
Judging by how the creature fed, it seed quite challenging to starve in this world, right?
With that thought, Zheng Yichen encountered a river—
"Is this a river or an ocean?" Zheng Yichen looked at the seemingly boundless ’river,’ referencing Tia’s map, which confird it was indeed a river.
A river so vast it could swallow Earth whole, creating a massive splash...
Standing by the riverbank, Zheng Yichen could feel the imnse air currents stirred by the flowing river. He couldn’t resist taking out his fishing rod.
He wasn’t in any hurry to pursue the flying behemoth because it was now pausing on a mountain more than twenty kiloters high, tens of kiloters away.
Jets of water were shooting up from the edge of the mountain.
Of course, compared to the scale of this river, those jets were re trickles.
The giant flying beast was drinking water atop the mountain.
Upon using the Illusory Eye to further magnify the scenery, Zheng Yichen even saw so fish-like creatures amidst the spurting water. In this river, those creatures would be akin to microorganisms, right?
He rembered pondering in biology class how so creatures could survive by consuming microorganisms. Now he understood—those tiny organisms, from a human’s perspective, survive by feeding on microorganisms.
From a human’s standpoint, feeding on them would result in starvation, but for those creatures, microorganisms were entirely sufficient.
Now, in this world, compared to that flying behemoth, Zheng Yichen was just a minuscule organism reliant on microorganisms for survival.
The flying behemoth, when drinking, paid no attention to the small fish and such spewed from the water jets at all.
Who scrutinizes the microorganisms and bacteria in water when drinking?
"How about a couple of casts?" Zheng Yichen looked at the fishing rod that turned from illusory to real and couldn’t resist casting it once.
He wanted to try proper fishing, but the river was too massive. Even though the flow rate wasn’t ’fast’ for creatures that could truly regard this as a river, it was too imnse for Zheng Yichen.
Just the force of the clash between the river’s edge and the water was significant enough that a normal person would have to consider their next life if brushed by it.
