"Does that an it will be available later?"
"Only when you reach that level." Tia looked calmly at Zheng Yichen. "A path conducive to the growth of Proxy Agents doesn’t an that a Proxy Agent will continue on forever. While we were talking, two Proxy Agents have already died."
"Uh... completely dead?"
"Completely dead."
"Then that’s fine." Zheng Yichen waved his hand dismissively. He was thinking that soday he might conquer the Great World, clear out those Boundary Breaking Factions, and then retire peacefully.
For now, it seems the future route is quite long.
Leaving Dusk Cathedral, Zheng Yichen returned to his living quarters. The secret realm had been tidied up, and upon returning to it, everything looked quite orderly.
So shelves were filled with boxes, and those boxes had information engraved on them. Using the Illusory Eye, one could instantly read the corresponding information.
It was clear at a glance what was inside the boxes.
After wandering around for a while, Zheng Yichen moved so items out to decorate and renovate his ho.
Like the Spiritual Spring, placed in the garden to noticeably improve the air quality, with the water continuously circulating.
Zheng Yichen connected all the plumbing at ho to the Spiritual Spring, so from now on, baths, boiling water, and cooking would all use this water.
Additionally, all the furniture and similar items were replaced, including the light bulbs.
With these changes, Zheng Yichen thought that his current ho could buy half of Hazy City. These are treasures collected by the Unified Imperial Dynasty over the years. Apart from anything else, just the value of the Spiritual Spring alone is worth a fortune.
He couldn’t buy the entire Hazy City because of its special environnt, filled with nurous Phenonons. If it were an ordinary city, he truly could buy it all.
After completing the ho renovation, it was already afternoon, and the green dragons who had gone out ca back together.
Seeing Zheng Yichen, they warmly greeted him and curiously looked at his renovated ho.
One of the green dragons reached out to taste so of the Spiritual Spring, showing a comfortable expression. "Can we build a pond with this pool?"
"You want a swimming pool?" Zheng Yichen asked. The group of green dragons hadn’t gone out shopping but had been out to sun the dragon eggs. They specifically chose newly appeared Phenonons to sun the eggs nearby, wanting the dragon eggs to be exposed to the Phenonon environnt.
"We want to wash the dragon eggs with this water, and we can also help build the swimming pool." Another green dragon quickly added. Not just help with building the pool—the dragons would even be willing to swim with Zheng Yichen.
"That’s fine by ." Zheng Yichen agreed, thinking a swimming pool at ho would be nice. As for the pond to wash dragon eggs, maybe it could later be used to raise so fish.
Speaking of raising fish... Zheng Yichen couldn’t help but rub the fishing rod hidden in his cloak. As he did, a cat’s paw occasionally patted him like it was exploring.
Zheng Yichen directly pulled the cat spirit out and placed it on his shoulder before taking out the fishing rod. Looking at it, he fell into contemplation, thinking about the last ti he went fishing.
It was initially for convenience in disguise, shaping the weapon into a fishing rod. Now such a thod seems sowhat unnecessary. Should he change it?
Rubbing the fishing rod in his hand, he thought, perhaps he might still use it after retirent. Moreover, this weapon suits him quite well now, so there’s no need to change it.
Thinking like this, Zheng Yichen found a rock and sat down. It was also one of the Unified Imperial Dynasty’s collections—allegedly capable of affecting ley lines and transforming them into hidden dragons or sothing.
Zheng Yichen hadn’t seen any hidden dragon ley lines, having even slain a true Divine Dragon before, but he understood this item’s function as possibly altering feng shui.
He drew out a Gate of Death and cast the fishing rod into it.
Before catching anything, the Forest Witch Eileena appeared first. She looked at Zheng Yichen with so confusion, then understandingly nodded before returning to her workshop.
While researching magic, she felt the spread of Hell and the Power of Death, initially thinking sothing blind and foolish was invading, but then saw Zheng Yichen fishing.
So there was nothing to worry about.
"What are you fishing for?" The small white dragon, feeling thirsty, had co out of the house, lying on Zheng Yichen’s back and curiously looking at the Gate of Death.
"Anything I catch is fine." Zheng Yichen said, watching the inactive fishing rod. He just wanted to try the sensation of catching sothing; what was on the other side wasn’t important.
The important part was having sothing bite the hook.
"Then why not jump in directly and have a look? I’m thirsty." The small white dragon wiggled its ears, whining, "Give sothing nice to drink."
Zheng Yichen handed Tanshia Firlo a bottle of juice and received a pair of rolling eyes from the small white dragon.
Just as she was about to ask for sothing else, she saw Zheng Yichen suddenly yank the fishing rod, pulling a blood-colored worm out from the Gate of Death. The worm was violently struggling while suspended in mid-air, firmly entangled by the fishing line, and after being thrown to the ground, it flopped around.
Fortunately, the stone Zheng Yichen was sitting on suppressed the ground, providing corresponding protection against this kind of aggressive destruction. Despite the creature’s struggles, it caused no substantial damage to the ground.
Zheng Yichen tapped the creature with the fishing rod, and the struggling blood-colored worm imdiately cald down.
Tanshia Firlo leaned in to take a closer look, then decisively said, "It’s not a death creature, it’s a Hell creature, it’s alive."
Death creatures are driven by the Power of Death, and belong to the lifeless category, whereas Hell creatures differ because they have life force, making them living beings.
"Hmm... a Hell death worm?" Zheng Yichen observed the worm’s head, noting its eight-eyed eel-like mouth, its mouthparts attempting to extend outward while wriggling, to broaden its predatory range.
The mouth looked sowhat disgusting, and Zheng Yichen’s first thought was whether this thing could be eaten.
As soon as he had this thought, a piercing scream erupted. Zheng Yichen imdiately thrust the fishing rod into the mouth of the Hell worm, and the scream ca to an abrupt stop.
"Good! Roast it!"
"Yes, yes!" Tanshia Firlo was enthusiastic, and Lin Yaoyao and the others were drawn over by the brief scream, curiously entering the courtyard and looking at the worm in bewildernt.
"Brother Chang Qing, what is this?"
"A worm from Hell; I’m planning to roast it," Zheng Yichen was dealing with this Hell specialty, having beco fearless of eating such things.
As a young girl, Lin Yaoyao found this abnormal-looking thing quite repulsive, saying, "Brother Chang Qing, if you want food, I’ll make sothing delicious for you. Don’t eat this strange thing, okay?"
"Okay." Zheng Yichen casually tossed the thing back into the still-open Gate of Death. Through it, he saw a giant eye watching from afar.
As if discovering sothing intriguing, Zheng Yichen imdiately stuck his head in. The pupil of the giant eye’s owner suddenly shrank, retreating from the approaching Zheng Yichen.
This was an eye creature. Under Zheng Yichen’s malevolent gaze, the eye trembled violently. It possessed the ability to capture and devour malice, and in its eyes, Zheng Yichen radiated abyssal malice.
Facing such malice, it was like a plankton clinging to the edge of the Abyss.
Seeing the entire eye flickering with the expression ’don’t co over,’ Zheng Yichen swung his fishing rod.
The eye creature imdiately scattered into a pile of smaller eyes fleeing in different directions.
Through the Gate of Hell, Zheng Yichen also got a clear view of Hell’s situation. This world’s Hell was particularly chaotic right now, he could see dozens of different species there.
Closing the Gate of Hell, Zheng Yichen glanced at Lin Yaoyao, who was smiling, and said, "You go ahead and cook, I’ll check sothing and be back soon."
"Leave it to ." Lin Yaoyao said confidently. Zheng Yichen then went to the nearby Dusk Cathedral, found Tia, and asked a new question.
"Is the Hell in the Misty City World connected to other worlds’ Hells?"
Regarding Zheng Yichen’s repeated visits, Tia showed no change in emotion. She continued to answer his questions as always: "Part of it is connected due to the unique environnt of the Misty City World, causing this rare situation."
"So, beings from other worlds can reach this world through Hell?" Zheng Yichen raised his eyebrows, realizing this was not good news.
"Normally, they cannot. Part of Hell is connected, but beings from different worlds remain primarily linked to their native world. Without precise targeting, other ways to leave Hell would only connect them to their native world."
Tia additionally noted, "Over ti, these connections will beco more frequent."
"...Misty City World is really unfortunate." Zheng Yichen found the situation in the Misty City World rather frustrating. Right now, there might not be precise targeting, but that might not be the case in the future.
As for stopping this issue? Forget it, the Misty City World has already been balanced. In the future, the environntal conditions here and in the affected worlds will fully synchronize.
The environnt in Hell will also beco identical. If creatures from other worlds really co here, they won’t face adverse conditions.
As for stopping such things, it’s too much to think about. Hell’s existence is like another side of the world. If soone can open a connection, it could appear anywhere. Zheng Yichen blocking the Misty City side is aningless.
Things that can co out can also erge elsewhere.
"What happened now?" Tanshia Firlo ca over curiously, jumping around the Spiritual Spring as Zheng Yichen returned.
Zheng Yichen waved his hand sowhat wistfully: "I just feel this world is truly plagued by misfortune."
