After drawing blood, Zheng Yichen arrived at the entrance of the church. The motorcycle he rode back hadn’t been touched, and he imdiately began unloading the items from it.

This ti he only thought about cleanly processing the gorilla. After finding a set of clothes in the Alien Phenonon Remnant Zone, he started on the main task.

He reassembled the gorilla’s skeleton to its original form. Even in death, the strength of the bones was exceedingly high, far surpassing that of the short spear made from a unicorn horn.

As for the gorilla’s skin... Zheng Yichen thought for a mont, then removed the gorilla’s skull inside the church, "Keeping the head part is enough, reserve so of the skin, and process the rest as materials?"

The gorilla was humanoid in form, but considering what the creature had done, Zheng Yichen had no psychological burden when it ca to utilizing the materials. If he could have, he would have shown the beast what cruelty ant!

Since the monkey tornted the human race, it was only fair for him to tornt it in return.

"It can be processed," Prioress Tia said, giving a definite response after examining the materials Zheng Yichen provided.

Zheng Yichen’s face lit up with joy. He had firsthand experience of how tough the gorilla was. Making equipnt from its materials would make dealing with the remaining Alien Phenonon creatures easier.

The gorilla’s skin couldn’t withstand the giant serpent’s poison, but its bones could resist the corrosive effect of the venom.

"It will cost eight rit points."

Zheng Yichen took the notebook from Prioress Tia’s hands; to the original 5, a 4 had been added, making it nine points overall.

"That’s enough then. I want to know if this price is expensive or cheap among the Proxy Agents?" Zheng Yichen still had little understanding of the value of rit points, as he rarely communicated with other Dusk rcenaries and Proxy Agents.

He only knew that one point could be exchanged for a million, and after taking down three Alien Phenonon creatures, he had earned just nine points.

"For most Proxy Agents, it’s expensive."

"...Process it. Making it into light armor would be good. Is the material too much?" Zheng Yichen looked at the over two-ter skeleton of the gorilla, which still looked huge even without the head.

"Not too much."

"There’s an additional cost of five hundred thousand."

Well, since he was using rit points of unknown value, what did it matter if he spent two hundred thousand more? He simply asked Prioress Tia to deduct the gold, "Speaking of which, didn’t my fishing rod cost only two hundred thousand?"

Zheng Yichen took out the fishing rod he carried. Its strength was unquestionable. Black spear might have been crushed by the gorilla, but the rod had withstood several attacks and remained intact—it almost didn’t seem worth the price.

"That was your initial benefit as a Proxy Agent."

Prioress Tia took a pen and recorded in her notebook, writing -8 after the 4. She then began to pack up the skeleton and the gorilla’s skin, preparing to leave.

Zheng Yichen blinked, "Wait, aren’t you going to ask what style I want?"

Tia stopped, "What style do you need?"

"Sothing modern. Don’t make it look like I’m wearing a skeleton. I don’t want to be seen as a weirdo when I go to other places," Zheng Yichen stated his requirents.

"Understood."

Watching Tia leave, Zheng Yichen was curious about how she would process those materials. He looked at the gorilla’s head left in the storage cabinet, considering it a new trophy.

Afterward, he found himself with so free ti, laughing and swinging his fists at the entrance of Dusk Cathedral, warming up his body and feeling the feedback from devouring the gorilla’s flesh and blood.

When focused ntally, Zheng Yichen faintly felt his body ’locked’ in so way. Relaxing a bit, the sensation quickly vanished, but after trying a few tis, he finally got a grip on the feeling.

"Seems like it’s the air mbrane the gorilla used?" Zheng Yichen looked at his palm. Only upon close inspection could one notice the slight distortion in the air. This air mbrane, compared to the almost substantial one the gorilla used, was vastly inferior.

With the current level, even in the gorilla’s Alien Phenonon environnt, it would be impossible to reach the gorilla’s extent.

While maintaining this state, Zheng Yichen discovered he could no longer use the Elents power, as the ergence of the air mbrane put his body in a ’locked’ state, cutting off his ability to wield that power. Elents power hinged on sensing and manipulating the environntal elents, and this ’lockdown’ prevented interference, though his sensing capabilities remained unchanged.

In this state, he punched an innocent stone beside him, causing it to explode on the spot, but he felt no significant pain in his fist. The recoil was like lightly tapping on a table—neither painful nor irritating.

He moved so new stones over and tried again. After the energy shell erged, his physical strength markedly improved, and his attacking power greatly increased. It was really similar to the external projection of inner force described in martial arts novels. Even without using this power, he could still shatter a stone.

Only afterward would his fist feel sowhat sore, but it was within a tolerable range for him.

"This... is amazing," Zheng Yichen swung his fists laboriously, further experiencing the enhancent brought by the energy shell. Half an hour later, he stopped this novel experint and sprinted into the cathedral, where he started devouring a large amount of food.

"Maintaining the energy shell consus so much," Zheng Yichen mumbled to himself. He felt as hungry as if he hadn’t eaten for three days. Whether the energy shell was made of Inner Strength or sothing else, he was unclear, but now he was aware of how much maintaining it drained his body.

The thing didn’t consu ntal power or much physical power; it seed to directly deplete the vitality of his cells.

After eating his fill and recovering, Zheng Yichen contemplated the sensations from the half-hour test. How to put it, after maintaining the energy shell for an extended period, he picked up on a new sensation, but he was too starved at the mont to continue the experint.

That sensation was that the energy shell could further change. Zheng Yichen imdiately thought of a gorilla’s red-haired state after enraged.

After taking a short break, he returned to the testing site, maintaining the energy shell while searching for that sensation. Despite his face turning red from effort, he couldn’t induce any further change in the energy shell; he could sense it but was consistently unable to reach that level.

Zheng Yichen considered the situation and concluded a lack of solid foundation?

"Am I being a bit too greedy..." After the failed attempt, Zheng Yichen wasn’t disheartened. He felt that his current condition was just insufficient and that the related change should have been unlocked. As long as he t the relevant conditions in the future, wouldn’t the change co naturally?

With sufficient understanding of the energy shell’s power, he grew more confident about his upcoming actions. When encountering high-energy environnts, he would use Elents power in combat. Against highly intense environnts, there was nothing else to say—he would go in for close combat, which he was currently good at.

"How about so cards?"

Tia was absent, so after taking a shower, Zheng Yichen, who saw the two nuns had already completed their cleaning, asked them. The sister nuns nodded and sat opposite him, staring intently at him with eight eyes.

Zheng Yichen felt that the nuns were looking at him with a sowhat more probing gaze?

This ti, Zheng Yichen played Landlords. As long as he was not the landlord, he could still guarantee to win three or four out of ten gas.

Mahjong required four players and didn’t rely on cooperation, but Landlords was different. Even though the few wins seed to have been carried by either the elder nun or the younger nun, he still won in the end.

Teaming up with either one of the sister nuns could lead to victory over the other; one plus one was indeed greater than one.

"You’re indeed different," the sister nuns said in unison, looking at Zheng Yichen who was shuffling the cards.

"Eh? What do you an?"

"Nothing much to say at the mont," the elder nun didn’t clarify Zheng Yichen’s confusion. Just as Zheng Yichen finished shuffling the cards for the next ga, light footsteps approached from not far away. Tia, who had left, returned, holding a set of modern-styled combat armor.

It wasn’t like the steel battle suit of Iron Man, but more akin to Batman’s battle suit.

The color was like the gorilla’s skin—black. Zheng Yichen eagerly walked over and took the combat armor, weighing it in his hand. It was only about one-fifth the weight of the gorilla’s bones and skin, roughly.

"All the materials were used." Tia was done with the matter after handing over the battle suit to Zheng Yichen.

"Is this a condensed essence?" Zheng Yichen asked curiously. Prioress Tia showed no intention of elaborating further, but he was determined to understand.

"You can understand it that way."

"And the effects? Like, does it have high defensive strength?"

"The battle suit’s strength is very high. When worn, the user will bear extra pressure. With your constitution, there won’t be any problems using it."

Extra pressure? That sounded similar to level restrictions in gas. Zheng Yichen wondered, eager to find a place to don the battle suit right away. Besides using the gorilla’s bones, the materials for making this gear included the skin Zheng Yichen had peeled from the creature.

When worn, the battle suit still had considerable elasticity. Yet, upon touching the outer layer, it felt rigidly solid.

The gloves that ca with the battle suit didn’t affect the wearer’s tactile sensation. After putting it on, Zheng Yichen imdiately experienced the pressure Tia ntioned. It was a burden that could be described as ’adding weight upon weight,’ which brought not only physical oppression but also a ntal strain, a mixture of unwillingness and fury.

Prioress Tia hadn’t ntioned that besides the extra physical burden, there was also a ntal one!
