World Creation doesn’t hold much appeal for Lilith. As long as Zheng Yichen desires to conduct such a simulation, she will naturally cooperate. There’s no imdiate rush to initiate the simulation.
It’s better to wait for Lilith to replenish the lost mory capacity of the Virtual World Core first. The thod of replenishnt is quite simple—just feed it materials.
That thing itself is a ’seed’; it can decompose and absorb materials. Especially when World Creation is completed, it will require the resources of an entire world.
As for spawning new life from destruction, it may seem redundant, but it depends on the specific situation.
The wild worlds may be complete, but this isn’t what the Boundary Breaking Faction desires. Using the wild worlds as soil to cultivate new ones ans those worlds can be freely modified by them.
It’s as if they completely control the Heavenly Dao of that world. By arbitrarily shaping it, they could transform the entire world into sothing akin to a ga reality, where slaying beasts or enemies yields special items.
All it takes is tweaking so rules of the world.
Such adjustnts involve nurous factors—Fate, causality, and so on. Once the target is eliminated, the causality and future destiny entangled with them are severed. The severed strands of ’causality’ condense and are transford by the world’s rules into items or equipnt.
This is just one of the solutions recorded in the database of the Virtual World Core. After studying this solution, Zheng Yichen understood why the Great World values this thing so much.
Normal resource inputs barely increase the mory capacity of the Virtual World Core. It takes sufficiently special items to make an impact. Among Zheng Yichen’s possessions, the most useful are the Great Evil God fragnts and so preserved World Origin crystals.
Lilith has filtered out many consumable resources from the database.
Even the corpses of Supre Demons fall under this category. Generally speaking, the stronger the ’information’ contained within an object, the more evident its effect on the Virtual World Core’s mory expansion.
Which is why he now has an additional ’Ghoul.’ When Zheng Yichen deals with formidable foes, he essentially eliminates them entirely, leaving no trace—not even their souls.
His Extraordinary abilities allow for Bloodsucking Soul Devouring. And now, the Virtual World Core can consu corpses as well. Here’s the dilemma: when encountering a strong enough enemy, after taking them down, who gets to use the leftover corpse?
Of course, it’s him.
The World Origin crystals he has accumulated were used to great effect. A single finger-sized piece can recover about 0.01% of mory capacity. Does that seem like a small amount?
Well, when he poured all the World Origin crystals he collected into the core, it expanded the mory capacity several tis over. But even with multiple expansions, the Virtual World Core doesn’t gain much substantial significance.
It’s like a computer’s hard drive: apart from the sections that hold key programs, additional storage capacity doesn’t drastically impact performance. To improve performance, attention needs to shift to other hardware components.
Having more mory allows for the installation of more programs, storage of more information, and simultaneous operation of more software.
As long as the mory capacity suffices, then it’s after World Creation is fully complete that the Virtual World Core’s capacity can truly be piled on.
Thus, to Zheng Yichen, the preserved World Origin crystals are better suited as cultivation resources, as the Virtual World Core and Origin crystals are remarkably compatible.
So compatible, in fact, that it makes Zheng Yichen question once again the relationship between the Boundary Breaking Faction and the Devouring Faction.
In the living room, Zheng Yichen placed the fishing rod on the table. Everyone present focused their gaze on it, even the curiosity-driven Little Holy Maiden Lillian didn’t have the urge to touch it.
Though the fishing rod seed perfectly safe in Zheng Yichen’s hands, it was a completely different matter in anyone else’s.
A faint glow emanated from the fishing rod, and Lilith, in her chibi form, appeared.
"Huh? Her outfit seems prettier now?" Lillian asked, puzzled.
Lilith replied in a lighthearted tone, "It changed passively."
Specifically, it’s a complete transformation brought about by the recent upgrades. Although she could opt for a more understated appearance, the default is this level of elegance.
"What does this change bring?"
"This." Lilith snapped her fingers. With a crisp sound, the environnt abruptly shifted—replaced by an expansive starry void.
"??" Lillian’s eyes widened in amazent. The mont the starry void appeared, she felt as if she had touched the Divine Domain. But the sensation was sowhat different.
This wasn’t an illusion. The entire surrounding environnt had been completely replaced. Underfoot, there was a tangible sensation, yet reaching down, one would only feel the void.
"A Virtual Genesis, unfolding in conjunction with the Divine Domain," Lilith’s figure flickered lightly before settling on Zheng Yichen’s shoulder. "With the assistance of a boss, the Virtual Genesis can advance further."
But... there’s still an infinitely tiny gap before reaching true World Creation. Well, when faced with infinity, there’s no such thing as ’tiny.’ Even an infinitely small portion is still infinite.
"Assistance? This, I suppose?" Zheng Yichen picked up the fishing rod and used his own power to deploy the Divine Domain.
Although Lilith is now tied to the fishing rod, the rod itself is fused with the World Tree seed. Maintaining that connection is insufficient for Lilith to leverage the World Tree portion during her activation of the Divine Domain.
