The Boundary Breakers who had fled the secret base could only watch the distant explosion in terror. The powerful blast waves swept in, and they were grateful they hadn’t chosen such a suicidal gamble.
In an environnt as harsh as this, surviving such an explosion was utterly impossible.
Fortunately, they had escaped swiftly, just in ti to avoid the explosion’s epicenter. Although the subsequent shockwaves were still intense, their vehicles were fast and relatively sturdy, able to withstand the impact.
Now it ca down to abandoning everything in order to survive in this world: "Well, that’s that. What are you guys planning to do next?"
The Boundary Breakers, who had endured the impact, began discussing. None of them had left their vehicles, for during their hasty escape from the base, they’d only had ti to put on simple protective suits, launching the vehicles via ergency ejection.
A mont’s delay, and they would have been obliterated by the explosion.
"What else can we do? Over the years, I’ve managed to set up several hidden accounts. I plan to use that money to search for Phenona." Another Boundary Breaker sighed heavily.
Returning to the Great World was no longer an option.
In a low-environnt world, returning required heavily modified technological equipnt, and with the base destroyed, going back was impossible. Their only option now was to integrate into this world and hope to find Phenona within their lifetis.
If they could find Phenona, they could migrate to higher-environnt worlds, where they could live longer, instead of dying of old age in this world within three to five decades at most.

The proposal imdiately found agreent among the group. They had no desire to die of old age in a low-environnt world, let alone one covered in wastelands, with so little Pure Land left. Staying here held no appeal.

Amid the buzzing in his ears, a tube was forced into his mouth. Zheng Yichen felt as if his already loose teeth were about to fall out, but the liquid flowing from the tube gradually revitalized him.

After nearly twenty minutes, Zheng Yichen finally let out a deep breath. With a slightly steadier hand, he pulled the soft tube from his mouth, and his blurry vision began to improve.
"Whew~ I’m alive again." Zheng Yichen rubbed his eyes, trying to see more clearly, but to no avail.
Still, it wasn’t a significant issue; his Illusory Eye could still function. While it no longer provided special effects, its vision-assisting capabilities remained intact.
