427 Abnormalities of the Pool

Of course, it could be due to other reasons as well. Regardless of the reason behind the phenonon, it piqued Ye Lingchen’s interest.

The life of a Prodigy was simple and boring. There was not much that could pique Ye Lingchen’s interest. Therefore, he planned to look further into it.

Right then, the program crew was slowly approaching, asking him expectantly, “God Ye, you’re not planning to show us so Kungfu again today?”

“No.” Ye Lingchen shook his head and said nothing more.

He did it the previous day because of Qi Refinent. In order for him to stimulate his blood circulation, he needed to vent. However, he was ntally prepared this morning and it was not as obvious as the day before. If he were alone, he might have pulled off a few moves. Unfortunately, they were having a live stream and that was not sothing he planned for.

The program crew was a little disappointed, but they knew it could not be forced. They dared not offend Ye Lingchen and could only let him do as he wished.

As expected, Huang Lei was the next to wake up and had prepared breakfast for everyone. Seeing Ye Lingchen sitting lazily in the gazebo, he could not help but jest, “God Ye, you’re too inconsiderate of this poor old man. With such great culinary skills, it would be nice for you to help prepare breakfast.”

“Huang Lei Sensei, I’m a guest here. I’m waiting for your breakfast!” Ye Lingchen replied with a smile. He was too lazy to debate with him, and at the sa ti, he was not about to steal his lilight.

Huang Lei laughed, then started making breakfast.

After so ti, He Jia similarly ca down from his room. He was not surprised to see Ye Lingchen and Huang Lei and greeted them.

Surprisingly, not long after he ca down, Zhao Liangying and Hu Yue’er were coming down as well.

One should know that won had the habit to sleep in. Furthermore, Zhao Liangying’s love for sleep was well known throughout the entire entertainnt industry. She could even fall asleep while sitting in a chair.

“Wow, what special day is this for both of you to get up this early?” He Jia asked, surprised.

“Hmph, we just feel like it. Is there sothing wrong?” Zhao Liangying pouted, then stole a glance at Ye Lingchen. “I’m a good little girl who sleeps and wakes up early.”

“Pfft. Hahaha...”

Her words imdiately sent Huang Lei and He Jia into fits of laughter. Even Hu Yue’er broke out laughing.

“I still rember in an episode of a variety show, you were missing for half the day and the reason you provided was that you were sleeping.” Huang Lei exposed her rcilessly.

“That never happened. You must’ve rembered wrongly!” Zhao Liangying retorted, her face turned beet red.

In truth, it was because of Ye Lingchen that they could wake up early. A lot of people sleep in not because of their love for sleeping. Instead, it was mostly related to their quality of sleep.

Research showed that if given quality sleep, a person would only require 17 minutes of sleep a day. The data may seem exaggerated, but it served to highlight certain issues. [1]

Ye Lingchen’s massage helped both of them to sleep exceptionally well and had an undisturbed sleep. From the mont they opened their eyes, they felt energized and clear-headed. Given such circumstances, no one would be able to sleep.

Everyone was chit-chatting happily. When it was almost ti for breakfast, Wei Daxun finally ca down groggily. Seeing everyone waiting for him, he imdiately felt slightly embarrassed.

“You’re sleeping too much. Are you a pig?” Zhao Liangying imdiately took a rciless jab at him, savoring the rare occasion for her to feel a sense of accomplishnt in this matter. That was the first ti in her life to be able to wake up earlier than others.

That instantly triggered a bout of laughter from them. Their breakfast ended joyfully.

“God Ye, what are we doing next?” Huang Lei asked.

“I plan to take another trip up to the mountain.”

“We’re going too!” Zhao Liangying and Hu Yue’er’s eyes imdiately glowed, answering in unison.

“This ti we must catch a few more fish and save it for future use,” Zhao Liangying said enthusiastically.

“Actually, we can sell the fish in the market in exchange for so at,” Hu Yue’er suggested.

“That’s a good idea.” He Jia agreed with them. “Why don’t we all follow you to the mountain this ti? Last ti you said that the scenery there was beautiful. We haven’t seen it yet.”

“That sounds good. It’s still early anyway. Moreover, if we need to catch more fish, it’ll be difficult to bring it back with so few of us.” Huang Lei nodded.

“Let’s go then!” Wei Daxun was getting impatient.

Ye Lingchen was fine. The number of people going did not affect him much. However, Hu Yue’er and Zhao Liangying were unhappy with that.

It was originally for so private ti for both...three of them. Suddenly, there were an additional three uncles who were just huge light bulbs!

Since it was already decided, the group imdiately made their move. They left the Mushroom Hut and headed up the mountain together.

The area was still wet from the rain, making the mountain path quite challenging. Zhao Liangying and Hu Yue’er would occasionally shout out in shock. Finally, they decided to openly grab on to Ye Lingchen, sticking to him as they went.

Ye Lingchen’s steps were firm like a pole. On the road, it gave them a great sense of security.

When the group arrived at the pool, they could not help but exclaim in astonishnt. The surprise in their eyes was clear.

Compared to the previous day, the scenery was even more srizing. All the plants were reflecting off the sunlight, giving them a sense of limitless vitality.

“This place is like a utopia. The wonders of nature are really breathtaking,” He Jia exclaid.

“When I’m old, I plan to retire here. Plant so flowers and fish occasionally. That’s definitely the way to enjoy life.” Huang Lei was already planning his retirent.

“Why do I feel that the flowers here are so much more vibrant than yesterday?” Zhao Liangying looked at the vegetation on the ground and asked curiously.

“It’s probably the rain. After being washed by the rain, it would beautify the scenery.” Hu Yue’er made her guess.

The program crew took a few close-ups of the vicinity for the live stream, which in turn brought a round of lantations from the viewers.

For the program crew to choose this location, they naturally had a partnership with Mount Li’s authorities. They could help promote Mount Li and boost its tourism by attracting more tourists. That was the main objective of this program.

Ye Lingchen ignored the group. Ever since he arrived, his attention was fully focused at the heart of the pool.

Even without his reminder, the group’s attention was quickly drawn to the heart of the pool.

Within the heart of the pool, they could see that it was bubbling non-stop, forming a small whirlpool. It was extrely weird to see such a phenonon appear in such a calm pool. Most importantly, a large number of fish were swirling around the whirlpool with their mouths gaping, swimming around anxiously. Furthermore, countless fish were swimming out from within the whirlpool at high speed.

Ye Lingchen had noticed it since the previous day. The fishes were very lazy. Although their mouths were gaping non-stop, they hardly talked.

He could understand the Fish Language, but he did not hear much from the fish on the previous trip. However, at that mont, his ears were filled with sounds from the school of fish...
