Gulp, gulp!

A magical spectacle appeared at the scene—the group of people held a bowl of porridge in their hands and tasted it, but aside from that, their faces were filled with happiness and transcendent delight.

If soone photographed their expressions then, it would certainly beco very effective as an advertisent for food.

Was it...really that delicious?

Zhao Liangying’s mind went blank. The people in front of her were all accomplished figures in the entertainnt circle, yet a bowl of porridge made them like that?

Even the ever-calm Sister Feifei went crazy. She had never seen Sister Feifei eat sothing with such a blatant disregard of her image.

However, the next mont–

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Everyone’s eyes focused on her at almost the sa ti, or rather, the bowl of porridge in her hands!

The trendous pressure made her cower her neck weakly and retreat two steps back.

“Ying’er, you have anorexia, and if you don’t want to eat it, don’t force yourself. Let help you eat it.” Chen ijia had already raised her hand and barely stopped short of grabbing it.

“ijia, you’re a girl, you must keep in shape! Let do this kind of thing!” Lu Xiaobu said imdiately.

“Your words are wrong! You n in the entertainnt industry should also pay attention to your figure! In my opinion, it’s better for to eat this bowl of porridge,” Li Tai could not help but interject.

“It’s just a bowl of porridge. How could it affect my figure?” Chen Chichi laughed loudly. “I’ll eat this porridge.”

Everyone remarked one after another, ready to pounce if Zhao Liangying nodded.

“I didn’t say I wouldn’t eat.”

Zhao Liangying said quickly. She did not dare to be careless and raised her hand to take a sip.

“Mm!”

That mouthful imdiately prompted her to let out a low moan. Fresh and tender fish lted in her mouth, while silky porridge swam like silk with the rice grains dancing on the tip of her tongue.

All in all, it was delicious!

It was much better than all the delicacies she ate before!

Eat it! She must eat it!

She had forgotten everything, picked up the porridge, then gulped it all down!

“Whoa, so delicious!”

In just five seconds, she emptied the entire bowl of porridge and her little face turned red. After seeing everyone’s perplexed looks, she could not help but let out a “Yeah” and blush.

During that period, she was too hungry, as she had never eaten a decent al. Besides, she was a full-fledged foodie herself, so it was agonizing for her.

Unexpectedly, the porridge’s sheer deliciousness suppressed her anorexia and left her with a lingering aftertaste. It displayed the full extent of its deliciousness.

“Young Master Ye, the porridge you made is really delicious.” Zhao Liangying went directly to Ye Lingchen’s side and even stretched out her slender hand to massage him. “I’m really lucky to be able to eat your delicious food. In the past, I was an ignorant little girl, but please don’t take offense. From now on... I hope you don’t mind if I co and get a free al.”

A single bowl of porridge led Zhao Liangying to betray herself, and her position changed drastically.

Whatever pompousness, whatever loss in the card ga, and whatever unspoken rules had all gone down the drain.

As an experienced foodie, she could abandon everything just for the sake of eating. It was not like Young Master Ye was forbidden from breaking those unspoken rules if he wanted to. Zhao Liangying had to first calculate how many als he would need to cook for her.

Having been tortured by her anorexia, she felt a heavenly satisfaction at that mont and felt like she had turned into the happiest person in the world.

...

Although it was only a bowl of porridge that did not seem like much, after eating it, everyone could neither say that they were full nor felt hungry. It was known that many people there could eat at least two or even three bowls usually.

The reason was naturally because of the ingredients that Ye Lingchen added. A bowl of porridge contained plenty of nutrients, which were more than enough to fill them.

Ring-ding-ding!

While everyone was sitting idle and chatting together, Xiao Feifei’s cell phone rang.

“It’s Durian TV.”

Xiao Feifei’s brow furrowed slightly and Li Tai was also taken aback. As the saying went, ‘one would not visit the temple without a cause’, so receiving a call at that juncture was not a good sign.

“Just pick it up,” Ye Lingchen said faintly. He rembered Xiao Feifei telling him that it was Durian TV who accepted iPartnt for broadcasting.

Xiao Feifei nodded and answered the phone.

“Chairman He, hello.”

“Hello, Princess Xiao. Regarding the ti that we discussed last ti regarding iPartnt, after so discussion on our side, the ti will probably be delayed.”

“Delayed? What do you an?” Xiao Feifei’s voice sank slightly.

“Originally, it was set for the tislot from seven to nine o’clock, but unfortunately, this slot has been set for For My Love. You will only get the tislot from ten to twelve o’clock.” Chairman He’s tone suggested that he was giving them a notice instead of discussing things with them.

“Chairman He, we’ve already agreed to this tislot, and you’ve promised it too. It’s only been a month and you’re changing as and when you please?” Xiao Feifei’s imposingness ca at once.

“Hehe, Princess Xiao, the situation forced us into doing so and we can’t help it. If you don’t like it, you can change to another TV station. We sympathize, but our hands are tied.” Chairman He said trivially.

“You—”

Xiao Feifei still had a lot to say, but the phone was directly snatched away by Ye Lingchen, who remarked curtly, “Chairman He, right? I’ll have you know that iPartnt will not be shown on your TV station! I’d also like to remind you that from this mont onward, your Durian TV’s position as the leading station will not last long!”

After saying that, he hung up the phone directly.

“Lingchen, you...” Xiao Feifei looked at Ye Lingchen and did not know what to say. He knew that Ye Lingchen was in a bad mood and could not help but utter weakly, “Sorry, I ssed it all up.”

Ye Lingchen waved his hand indifferently. “Why are you apologizing to ? You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m pissed off. They’re just a TV station but they have the balls to look down on others!”

Everyone was a little speechless. What did he an by ‘just a TV station?’ It was Durian TV, the leading figure among TV stations, but Ye Lingchen not only answered them straightforwardly but even threatened them! He was just too freaking amazing!

Zhao Liangying looked at Ye Lingchen and was incredibly shocked. It turned out that he was imposing toward anyone, and was not actually targeting her specifically.

“I accord plenty of respect toward anyone if they just respect a little, but if anyone commits a misdeed against , I’ll make them regret it!” Ye Lingchen said lightly. “Durian TV obviously didn’t take us seriously. If he could breach the contract once, he can breach it a second ti. Does he think he’s so great just because he’s the leading TV station? Our show can be popular anywhere. Why must we be at his service?”

“Feifei, next ti, you don’t need to be at any TV station’s service, let alone beg them for help. From now on, only the TV stations will be begging for you! This is easy. They slap you; you slap back!”
