Miyako tilted her head and answered hesitantly, “M-m-master.”
“I’ll let you off this ti. Go upstairs and make my bed,” Ye Lingchen ordered in a firm tone.
“What?!” Miyako stared at Ye Lingchen with wide-open eyes, unable to believe her ears.
“Yes? Do I need to repeat myself?” Ye Lingchen gave her a cold look with the feather duster held high.
“Alright, I’ll go!” Miyako agreed to it quickly with a fearful look in her eyes.
Watching Miyako walking upstairs, Ye Lingchen finally nodded in satisfaction. ‘Now this is more like it.’
At the sa ti, Zhang Yunxi finally returned. Her eyes showed signs of exhaustion as she quietly entered the door.
When she saw Ye Lingchen in the living room, she was caught by surprise. “Lingchen, you’re still here? Where’s...Miyako?”
