Looking at Pompom's status, not much of it had changed apart from its level, which seed to be six levels higher than last ti.
For it to gain six levels in the span of three days at its current level, it can be considered to be quite fast.
Nevertheless, the most apparent change was Pompom's new talent.
'Poison resistance? What on earth did Pompom do to acquire this talent?' Albion furrowed his brows.
After sweeping his gaze around the city, Albion did not find any signs of battle anywhere.
Silvercove city was too peaceful, yet at the sa ti, there were signs of uneasiness on the people's faces.
'Shouldn't be too far from Silvercove city then,' Albion thought.
He activated Eyes of Asura and began searching beyond the scope of Silvercove city, sweeping the empty lands, the hills, the sea, the rural villages, the main roads…
It didn't take long before Albion noticed the blockade on the main roads leading to Stillwater city.
'The problem lies in Stillwater city, huh? I'm pretty sure I left the matter to Wudi to solve it. Did he fail?'
Albion frowned.
With Polemos's support and the Stillwater Hunter Association Branch's manpower, it shouldn't have been too difficult of a task for Cao Wudi to resolve the parasitic bug issue in Stillwater city.
Or so he thought.
'Seems like so unaccounted variables caused the situation to escalate to the present stage…' Albion narrowed his eyes with scrutiny.
He could see so sort of fleshly tower beside the main city of Stillwater.
It appeared to be a type of hive.
After staring at the hive for a while, Albion eventually retracted his gaze and checked on Fenriri, who laid on the ground like a deflated balloon, still recovering from their travel.
"For now, I should give Wudi a call to get a better grasp of the situation," Albion muttered.
He quickly pulled and dialed the number, but the call failed to connect and made him frown in response.
Nevertheless, he checked for related news on the internet but couldn't find any crucial information on the situation either.
The only information available was all speculations from people outside the city.
'The governnt blocked all the news from getting out,' Albion quickly understood.
Ring, ring—!
Albion dialed a different number, and this ti, the call got through. The person on the other side of the call received him with enthusiasm.
"Boss, you've called at the right mont! This subordinate has been anxiously waiting for your call," Maverick Cohen stated.
He was the person sent by Polemos to help the Dark Lord manage the Blackthorne Group and solidify its power and position in the city.
"What's the situation?" Albion calmly asked.
"The situation is not good, Boss. Due to the disaster in Stillwater city, our plans to subjugate the other cities have been delayed. When the outbreak happened, we sent in a team to fight the disaster. But we haven't heard from them since."
"However, this subordinate believes they are still alive. Even so, the enemy is many, and there are so extrely powerful monsters amongst their ranks. B-rank and A-rank Hunters have reportedly been killed."
"The Hunter Association have sent in expedition teams to reclaim the city, but the governnt isn't letting them return for resupply, afraid that they will be carriers and spread the infestation to the surrounding cities."
"At first, there were multiple quarantine zones set up at the borders to crosscheck whether the people were infected before letting them out, but the governnt kills both person and the parasite, if they are found infected. Due to that reason, no one else from Stillwater city dares to approach the border for examination anymore."
While listening to Maverick Cohen's report on loudspeaker, Albion rubbed his chin thoughtfully and muttered, "Gotta kill them before they lay eggs, huh?"
"…Yes. Sothing like that," Maverick Cohen replied.
After Albion frowned for a mont, he ntioned, "I made prior arrangents for Wudi to take care of the situation, and even told him to ask Polemos for assistance. How did the situation escalate to such a point?"
"These days, the emperor has been busy dealing with the extraterrestrial beings from outer space, but the biggest reason for the current state of Stillwater city is due to the Krebs family. They are responsible for escalating the situation."
"The Krebs family?"
"Yes, Boss."
The Krebs family had abandoned their humanity in their pursuit of power and sided with the parasitic bug race known as the Scruxs.
Stillwater city would have never fallen into such dire straits so quickly if not for their assistance.
After listening to another lengthy explanation from Maverick Cohen, Albion fully grasped the situation and understood who the enemy was.
The Krebs family, who had connections and dealings with the Bloodmoon Gang, was not only the Blackthorne Group's enemy, but they were also the enemy of all of humanity.
"There will be a eting to address Stillwater city's issue in our new headquarters. It would be great if Boss could join us. I'm sure our mbers would be overjoyed by your presence."
"I see. I'll keep that in mind," Albion nodded before saying, "Send the ti and address."
"Yes, Boss."

After the call ended, Albion shortly received the text.
He briefly read over the ti and address ntioned before stowing away the phone in pockets and began rubbing his forehead with distress.
The world was changing too fast.
The issues appearing in the world were like new holes appearing on a water balloon and causing the water to leak.
After patching one hole, another hole would appear.
'If I have to keep dealing with these issues, I won't have ti for myself to train. If only I had more loyal and capable followers,' Albion ntally sighed.
"Riri."
"Huh?"
Fenriri glanced over with droopy eyes from the ground after her master suddenly called her before she saw him staring back at her calmly.
"We're flying to Stillwater city."
"…"
Fenriri imdiately closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.
