"Will you be alright on your own, my Lord? Are you sure you don't need a pilot?" Polemos inquired while watching Albion stepping into the private spaceship.
"Of course, I'll be alright. Are you looking down on , Polemos?" Albion turned around before stating coolly, "Nothing can go wrong with around. Besides, I always wanted to try flying a spaceship."
"Wudi, hurry up and get your ass over here!" Albion thundered shortly after.
In the distance, Cao Wudi trembled before scurrying over in compliance with Albion's will, "Y-Yes, Master!"
"Well then, I'll be heading off," Albion said briefly to Polemos.
"Have a pleasant trip, my Lord."
"Un." Albion nodded.
Shortly after, Polemos watched the spaceship's hatch closed.
"Guess it's ti to deal with the aliens first…" Polemos muttered.
He observed the spaceship's engines switching on for a mont before preparing to head back to the command center.
However, after taking a few steps, Polemos suddenly recalled the Lord's previous words.
"Wait a minute… Did the Lord say he always wanted to try flying a spaceship?"
…
Inside the spaceship, Albion fiddled with a few buttons in the pilot seat while Cao Wudi stood at the side watching him with doubt.
"Do you know how to pilot this spaceship, Master?" Cao Wudi inquired carefully with a gulping expression.
"Of course!" Albion answered with absolute certainty, giving Cao Wudi his assurance before adding, "Did you think I would try to pilot a spaceship without having an adequate level of confidence at least?"
"Thank go—"
Before Cao Wudi could finish patting his chest with relief, he suddenly overhead Albion's soft muttering, "How did Polemos pilot this thing again?"
"…"
Cao Wudi fell silent.
'F*ck! Your adequate level of confidence doesn't an sh*t if you don't have any piloting skills and knowledge, Master!' Cao Wudi cried in his mind.
He realized that his Master's assurance was the most unreliable thing in the world and can never ever be trusted.
'Wudi, we are going to train in a cave… Wudi, we are going to train near a swamp… Wudi, we are going to sleep here tonight. Don't worry, it'll be completely safe…'
The Master's soothing voice entered Cao Wudi's mind as he recalled the distant mories vividly as if it all happened yesterday.
There was a magnetic charm in the Master's voice that made him believe it—even if it left him at death's door every ti.
Cao Wudi glanced at his Master's eager expression from the side before he sighed, 'This is it. This ti, I am going to die for sure.'

Silvercove City's southern suburban area, the Declan Gang, Yan Gang, and Chen Gang, gathered inside of an abandoned gym.
"How is it? Can you reach the boss?" Reagan Declan inquired while ng Yan was making the call with his smartphone.
However, ng Yan shook his head and said with a disappointed sigh, "No, it failed again."
"Dammit, where could the boss have gone? Did he abandon us or died off sowhere? Without the boss's strength, we will not be able to reclaim our territory," Reagan Declan frowned.
"Right." Ah Zhen nodded and said, "If the boss doesn't co back soon, then we are going to lose this last piece of land soon as well."
"Heh, how quick the situation changes," Reagan Declan muttered self-mockingly before continuing, "We managed to conquer Silvercove City's underworld, but before we get to enjoy it, it fell into the laps of tti Gang instead."
"Everything was owed to the boss's own efforts. Without the boss, we would not have inherited the Bloodmoon Gang's businesses. Similarly, without the boss, we cannot hold onto the businesses either," Ah Zhen stated.
"At the end of the day, it is because we were too weak," ng Yan stated before objectively speaking, "What we need to do now is figure out how to turn the situation around."
"We've had a pretty good harvest and leveled quite a fair bit during the peak hour of the outbreak, becoming much stronger than we would have dread of becoming."
Reagan Declan shook his head before saying, "Unfortunately, we are still weaker than those certified Hunters with higher-level martial arts."
"Right, if it was just tti Gang, any one of us could have taken them out on our own. However, they have the backings of strong Hunters from the Albestel family now," Ah Zhen stated with a frown.
"The Albestel family, huh? Kek, they are strong, alright. However, they still failed to replace the top five families of Silvercove. And because of that, they call themselves one of the top ten families of Silvercove City instead," ng Yan chuckled slightly with ridicule.
"If I did not drink the boss's cup of blood water, I would have also been tempted to latch onto the thighs of those new powers arriving in the city as well. Curse the Dinsional Rift for appearing."
Reagan Declan spat before scratching his head with mixed feelings, "But without the Dinsional Rift's appearance, we would have all reached Level 15 Hunter and above either. Argh, do I hate it, or do I love it?"
"Oi, oi. Watch your words, Reagan! You might die if the boss suddenly hears you!" Billy warned before adding, "But yeah, I also agree with you on the Dinsional Rift. I have mixed feelings as well."
"Haiz…" Reagan Declan sighed before saying, "If only the boss can just suddenly appear before us. How good would that—"
Boom!
As if the heavens decreed, a person fell through the ceiling and crashed into the ground heavily with a loud bang, kicking up a storm of dust that obstructed their field of vision.
"What happened?!"
"An enemy attacked?!"
The three gangs gathered in the abandoned gym were imdiately alard as they shot to their feet with guarded expressions.
"Aiyoo~ I think I broke sothing—or not~!" Albion exclaid while cracking his stiff neck as he walked out of the cloud of dust.
"B-Boss! You're back!" Ah Zhen and the others imdiately exclaid with pleasant surprises.
The timing of the boss's appearance could not have been more perfect!
Was there actually so sort of secret magic summoning their boss? What is the condition? Talk sh*t behind his back? Thoughts of betrayal?
"Why did you co down from above, Boss? Couldn't you have used the entrance to enter normally?" Reagan Declan asked with astonishnt.
"Why, huh?" Albion muttered while craning his neck to look at the hole in the ceiling before he coughed awkwardly, "Ahem, I was skydiving."
"..."
"...Skydiving? Without a parachute?"
"Actually, what happened was…"
