Xiao Hua turned her attention on Xiao Qing before receiving a slight nod from her big sister, causing her to pout slightly, "Why are you all keeping secrets from ?!"
"With that playful nature and loud mouth of yours, wouldn't you spill all our family secrets to outsiders?" Xiao Qing slightly chided like a mother, giving Xiao Hua a slight nudge on the head.

Xiao Hua exclaid, hugging her head while sulking, "I'm not an insensible child, so stop treating like one."
"But you're still a child, nonetheless." Xiao Qing cracked a teasing smile, causing Xiao Hua to stomp her feet, throwing a tantrum.

"We're here." Old Xiao suddenly stated a slight chuckle, enjoying the sight of his grandchildren bickering.
At the end of the illuminated flight of stairs, a steel gate blocked their path.
However, it was quickly unlocked with another retina scan before a large secret lab was revealed behind the steel gates, causing Xiao Hua's eyes to widen further.
"Oh my!" she exclaid before rushing into the secret lab with interest.
At the sa ti, Xiao Qing and Old Xiao followed shortly after with wry smiles, feeling amused by her enthusiasm and youth.

Xiao Hua burst into joy, having spotted her mother among the group of people dressed in white coats and conducting various experints.
"Woah! Careful there, sunshine." Xiao Lan uttered with surprise after getting hugged by her daughter before adding, "This thing is costly and also very dangerous to drop."
A high-tech firearm of sorts was seen in Xiao Lan's hands.
"Mom, isn't this an energy-based weapon? Since when were we able to produce such things?" Xiao Qing's sharp eyes inspected the firearm before widening in shock.
"As I thought, mother knew that you would see through it with a glance, Qing-er," Xiao Lan praised.
"Naturally, we don't have the technology to make sothing like this on our own. However, all kinds of technology can be bought these days as long as we have money and the right channel."
"Then… this was bought from Future Tech?"
Xiao Qing's expression quickly turned into alarm after receiving her mother's silent nod of confirmation before asking with concern, "But Future Tech belongs to Emperor Polemos. Wouldn't that make us enemies of the other three emperors?"

"They should be ready in the armory room where Pipi is, father." Xiao Lan inford, gesturing them in the direction of the armory with one hand.
"Dad is also here? I will go see him!" Xiao Hua's eyes imdiately lit up, running ahead before Xiao Qing and Old Xiao followed after with helpless expressions.
"Dad!" Xiao Hua imdiately sneak-attacked her father with the sa sudden hug from behind, startling the person.
"Woah! You scared , Hua-er." Xiao Pipi patted his chest before admonishing, "Don't run around here. It's dangerous!"
