Chapter 327 Entering Fantasy Continent
Within a very short span of ti, a piece of news that claid the Supre Pontiff of Light was invincible spread throughout the entire Legendary continent.
Consequently, the news spread to professionals from other continents like wildfire.
A battle between the Supre Pontiff of Light and Thunder God happened.
The forr had opened the gate to the World of Gods with three punches, and had managed to smack the Thunder God back to the World of Gods.
The Thunder God was not just anyone.
He was a main God!
Many did not believe this piece of news.
They didn’t believe that the Supre Pontiff of Light had the power to win against a main God.
The Thunder God that William and Moses had awakened had rely been a clone of the Thunder God. Even if that clone hadn’t been sent back to the World of Gods, it would have disappeared sooner or later.
Frankly speaking, the real power of the Thunder God was way stronger than that clone.
However, the important conclusion was that the Supre Pontiff of Light strongly believed in his own power. He was rely one step from breaking through into the next level of power.
The Thunder God saw that during their battle.
Previously, he had planned to either kill the Supre Pontiff of Light or let him off the hook and give him ti to grow.
But that day, the Supre Pontiff of Light’s aura had constantly grown stronger and stronger.
Regardless of whether his ability could compare to that of a main God, he was invincible among humans.
The Thunder God wasn’t a simple-minded fool. He very much detested the main Gods that hadn’t died previously. That was why he wanted to give the Supre Pontiff of Light a chance to prove himself.
By letting the Supre Pontiff of Light ‘defeat’ him, it gave the forr ti to beco stronger.
Perhaps, the Supre Pontiff of Light could cause so trouble for the main Gods when, in the future, they would descend into this world.
Currently, all the big shots across the world had changed their mindsets.
In the so-called ‘World of Gods’, this had also caused an uproar among the Gods and main Gods...
Of course, it wasn’t any of William’s business.
Even if the sky fell, the big shots would take care of it.
A little guy like him would just be a bystander.
More importantly, the appearance of the Thunder God’s clone caused others to highly doubt whether William was really a reincarnation of the Thunder God or not. They thought that the Lord of Dawn was pretending to be the reincarnation of Thunder God and cheating everyone...
Nonetheless, William didn’t mind them thinking so, as it would save him a lot of trouble.
As of now, he was packing his luggage and preparing to head to the Fantasy Continent.
William had never seen Moses, ever since they had awakened the clone of the Thunder God.
Moses had locked himself in the fortune-telling hut all day long and rejected all visitors, including the handso William.
Consequently, one month after the Magic Conference had ended, William officially set off on a journey to the Fantasy Continent.
His mode of transport was an enormous Colossal Whale that was 10,000 ters long.
Millions of people in the City of Dawn witnessed this massive creature descending from the sky. Their jaws almost dropped.
“Gosh! How does this thing fly, when it doesn’t even have wings?”
“Brother, it’s magic!”
William’s mouth twitched after overhearing a conversation happening beside him. “I’m going now, take care of our ho.” He told his subordinates, who were recovering from their wounds.
“Yes.”
“Okay...”
“Yes, my Lord!”
Burned Cinder, Diablo, Lautner, Violent Dragon, and the others replied in a feeble voice.
It could not be helped.
After William had acquired his new pair of eyes, he had summoned all his subordinates and had arrogantly announced his newfound power...
He had challenged everyone to a 1-on-1 match and defeated them all!
All the Legendary and Epic Bosses in the City of Dawn acknowledged William’s power. However, they were quite grumpy after getting beaten up by the city lord.
“Have a smooth journey, my Lord. Shall we have another 1-on-1 match when you return?”
Burned Cinder hurriedly nodded. “Yes, yes! It shouldn’t be 1-on-1 though, but all of us against you.”
William knitted his eyebrows. “Whatever!”
“Lord William, it’s ti to go.” Soone was already impatient.
The prince looked at the Temple Knight and bid goodbye to the City of Dawn, leaping into the big mouth of the Colossal Whale.
Inside the Colossal Whale, a beautiful town ca into view. Many humans were living here.
But, this wasn’t exactly the Colossal Whale’s stomach.
It was an alternate dinsion existing inside the Colossal Whale’s abdon.
William glanced at a few people on the streets. The guys in white uniforms were service personnel in charge of the operations in this alternate dinsion.
Emblems of shields and swords were sewn onto their white uniforms, a representation that they belonged to the Temple of Light. This ant that the Colossal Whale was a possession of the Temple of Light!
Other professionals were part of this group heading to the Fantasy Continent, such as those who had clinched first place in Magic Conferences held in the northern, southern, eastern, and western regions.
In addition, there were also people from the top four power centers, three empires, three Elven kingdoms, seven Dwarven Kingdoms, and other human Kingdoms.
Originally, normal professionals would not be offered a place in the journey to the Fantasy Continent.
However, because of the Magic Conference, William and other professionals from less known forces had gained a chance to obtain a vacancy.
Although, the various top power centers were also sending their own top-notch people on this journey.
As for who would erge as the final victor, it all depended on one’s luck and ability.
“All of them are Legendary...” In his own room, William recalled so people that he had just seen. Many of them had been people with great potential in his previous life.
So of those people harbored a grudge against him.
However, in this appearance-oriented era, many genius professionals couldn’t help but have a favorable impression of William.
They had initially thought that William was a guy with a lot of tricks up his sleeve. He hadn’t attained the first place in the southern region of the Magic Conference, yet, he insisted on having one vacancy!
But, many people had a favorable impression of William the mont they had seen him. He was too charming to be a guy that was weak and relied on dirty tricks...
It could not be helped.
One’s appearance was the sole winning factor.
Several talented young ladies were attracted to William, and they kept shooting flirtatious glances at him, as if they wanted him to be their mate.
However, this only applied to so professionals from the Temple of Light, rcenary Guild, human empires, and Elven kingdoms.
Professionals from the Magic Sanctuary, Palace of Darkness, and the Dwarven Kingdoms weren’t very interested in William. So of them were even hostile.
Despite that, the prince didn’t seem to mind it. In this short seven-day journey, he had started to build friendships with certain talented professionals that he saw eye to eye with, increasing their affinity towards him.
It only took a re two or three days before they were already friends.
When they were reaching the Fantasy Continent, William was already calling so of them his brothers, albeit on the surface only.
It could not be helped.
His endownt was aweso!
Nonetheless, William knew where his place was. These proud Legendary Bosses were seeded contestants from the various top forces. It was impossible for him to get them to work for him. However, it was better to have more friends than enemies.
If he managed to build connections with them, it would be beneficial to the City of Dawn’s business dealings and military alliances.
Setting an early foundation would make things a lot easier later on.
Ursula, the deputy Temple Lord of the Temple of Light, was in charge of this mission. He was a little surprised to see that in such a short period of ti, William had managed to integrate into this little circle, that was made of either super-geniuses or professionals from top power centers, just based on his charm.
That was right.
Only one sage was present in this journey. It was Ursula, who had forever been the second in command and a deputy Temple Lord for 8000 years! He had existed since the previous two Supre Pontiffs of Light took up their role.
What was it like in the Fantasy Continent?
Only a few knew.
William and the others exited the mouth of the Colossal Whale and went to stand on its back.
As this gigantic creature descended from the clouds onto the surface of the sea, many geniuses couldn’t help but survey their surroundings.
They were surrounded by the boundless blue sea.
This didn’t look like the Fantasy Continent at all.
Nonetheless, no one raised any questions.
The Fantasy Continent wasn’t located in the real world. That continent had disappeared from the Gods world, but it could still be accessed from a specific location in the boundless sea.
Ursula glanced at the quiet bunch of people and waved his hand.
Boom!
A huge magic formation appeared out of thin air on the Colossal Whale’s back.
An unimaginable amount of magic surged in the air. The temperature of the surroundings instantly went up.
Nurous magic runes were swirling in the air, getting faster and faster with ti.
Crack!
Those magic runes seed to have fallen into formation and reached a certain resonance, making a buzzing noise.
The rapidly spinning magic runes ford a door. It was a portal that led into the Fantasy Continent.
William and the others looked past the door. Many gasped in surprise. “A palace among the clouds? Was this created in a way similar to how the Seraphkin built their sky city? There are so many palaces here, making it look like a long mountain range. How many magical stones did they use to build this...”
“Huh? I don’t see any palace. I only see a graveyard...” Soone sniffed. It was pitch-black in the graveyard that they saw. A few creatures that were dozens of ters tall were flying around. They looked pretty intimidating.
Ursula glanced at everyone and said in a deep voice, “Each one of you sees a different scene, as different opportunities await you. Be careful of everything you see inside.
“Rember, wherever there is light, it is safe, while dark places are dangerous. You may go in.”
“How do we get out?”
“Ten days later, a dinsional door will appear at the sa location you will arrive at. You may return by passing through that door!”
“What if we can’t find the door?”
“Then you must be prepared to stay there for eternity...”
Many professionals were quite worried upon hearing that, but they still hurried into the magic formation.
Suddenly, their bodies fell to the ground, while their souls floated out of their bodies. Despite that, they still had their equipnt and space rings with them.
So people touched their bodies on the ground out of curiosity, but they realized that it was still regularly breathing. They didn’t hesitate any longer and made their way through the dinsional door.
Thereafter, 90 Interdiate, Advanced, and Grandmaster professionals passed through the dinsional door.
William’s mouth twitched. He glanced at Ursula, looking like he wanted to say sothing
The latter thoughtfully looked at the dinsional door.
In the next second, Ursula almost laughed out loud. Nonetheless, he pretended that he didn’t know anything and asked, “Are you not going to go in?”
“Boss, can you tell why I see a battlefield? It seems like a war is going in.” William was astounded. Although other people had also seen so danger awaiting them through that door, it didn’t seem to be as dangerous as what he was seeing. He was looking at a battlefield in which a war was ongoing.
It was a massive battlefield where millions of creatures were fighting!
Huge monsters, tens or even hundreds of ters tall, were everywhere. All sorts of bizarre weapons were present. It, indeed, looked like a fantasy world...
What the h*11!
He rembered that the kind and evil creatures of the Fantasy Continent didn’t easily wage war against each other. Was he that ‘lucky’ to chance upon one?
Ursula had a poker face on. “The more dangerous it is, the more you will gain from it. It’s up to you whether you want to enter or not. If you don’t, I’m going to close the door.”
“I’ll enter!” William took a deep breath. Even if the situation would be too out of control inside, he had ten lives.
As he entered the magic formation, his soul summoned his rune equipnt before he entered Fantasy Continent.
Ursula waved his hand, and the dinsional door closed.
He stroked his chin. “The purpose of this war that happens once a century in the Fantasy Continent is to destroy the creatures born from ntal Strength. That particular battlefield holds the most opportunities. It depends on him, whether he can co out of it alive.”
