"Man-shik PD, say sothing!"
"Ah, can't we eat yet?"
"Let's wait for the PD's signal."
"Look at all the at, though!"
On a rooftop of a tall building in Seoul lay a barbecue place whose at was pricier than human organs. There, the cast and crew of 'Broken Chains of Justice' gathered to celebrate the last day of their filming.
Minseok sat along with the other extras with a wide smile. "Ah, it's been a while since I ca here."
They looked at him with amazent. "You've been here before?"
"Of course," Minseok lied. "Their at is the best."
"Well, for the price, it better be the best."
"Be quiet now! Man-shik PD is going to say sothing!"
Indeed, Man-shik PD stood, raising his glass in the air. The rest clapped loudly. The rich PD had rented out the entire area so they could cheer as much as they wanted.
"Thank you, everyone," he said, waiting for them to settle down.
"First of all, I would like to say that filming this series wasn't easy at all. The mont it was teased last year, more than half of the country had been anticipating it to drop. While that was good, it also ant that there was a lot of pressure for it to be great."
He then turned to Ari. "That's why I would like to thank Ari Bae, the woman who made this series into a success."
The crew clapped for Ari, with the extras clapping the loudest. Of course, that was because they wanted to star in her new works as well.
"To the actors as well," he continued. "Oh, where's Hyunbin?"
"He'll be arriving soon," Bong chid.
Man-shik cleared his throat. "I would like to thank all the actors who made the filming inspiring."
As he said that, however, his mind strayed to a certain soone.
"Cheers!" he exclaid. "Eat to your heart's content!"
They cheered once again and began eating the overpriced at. Man-shik PD imdiately went to the executive's table, where Ari and so investors were present.
As he did so, however, he couldn't help but look around the place.
"He's not here," Ari said, interrupting his search.
"Huh?"
"Zeno Han. He's not here," she repeated, placing a piece of at in her mouth. "He left the mont his scene was finished."
"What? But I told him to stay until the night! You should have stopped him if you saw him leaving."
"Why would I?" Ari nonchalantly asked.
"Don't you find him interesting and handso?"
Ari dropped a piece of at, looking at Man-shik PD with an agape mouth. "W–what are you talking about?" she spluttered. "That's not the case at all!"
"Really?" Man-shik PD muttered. "I swear I heard you say he was handso, though."
Ari, on the other hand, felt hot all of a sudden. She looked around the place. "Does this place have no ventilation?"
"We're literally outdoors on a rooftop," Bong muttered while chewing.
"Anyway," Ari continued, her cheeks still warm. "I just find him interesting, that's all."
"In what way?" Man-shik PD asked.
Ari leaned against her seat, rembering the look in Zeno's eyes. "Just… that he doesn't want to beco known."
"That's ridiculous," Bong said. "Who doesn't want to be famous?"
"That would be the case for most people," Ari said. "But I don't know. He feels different."
"He's good at acting, though," Man-shik muttered. "He's a natural. He didn't even take any previous classes except for the one I recomnded."
"You're right," Ari muttered. He was a natural—one that gave Ari the inspiration to suddenly write when she had started to hate it.
Just then, chaos was heard at the entryway, breaking her thoughts.
"Hyunbin Lee has arrived!"
"Is that who I think he is?"
"That's Chaewon PD!"
"Hyunbin Lee ca with Chaewon PD?"
"I think they're working on a movie together!"
Every actor in the area looked at the popular PD with sparkling eyes. Chaewon PD, another hotshot PD, had established her na in the industry. She was around the sa age as Hyunbin Lee, and they had been in the industry for a similar amount of ti.
This ant that Chaewon was also a veteran in the industry—one that everyone wanted to work with.
With her arrival, even Man-shik PD stood.
"Chaewon," he greeted. "I didn't expect you to co here. Take a seat and eat as much as you like."
Chaewon chuckled as she sat. "You treated the whole crew to this place? I'm jealous. You're making a lot of money these days, Man-shik."
Man-shik chuckled while shaking her head. "You make much more than . I heard your movie will be airing soon, too."
"Hmm," Chaewon humd. anwhile, Bong grilled the at like a robot, placing pieces on her plate every 15 seconds. "The trailer is going to co out next month. We're done filming the bulk of it. However, we still have to film the climax."
Man-shik glanced at Hyunbin. "And I heard Hyunbin is also starring in it. Are you the main character?"
Hyunbin chuckled and shook his head. "This old man cannot be the protagonist anymore. It's Ian Seo."
Man-shik and Ari turned to each other with wide eyes. Ian Seo? He was yet another popular actor in the industry. Unlike Daniel, who had just beco popular this year, Ian had established his na in the industry five years ago—an A-list actor!
"If I may ask, what is it about?" Man-shik asked, unable to take his curiosity.
"It's a dical disaster movie," Chaewon answered. "Actually, we wanted to make the climax to be on a bigger scale, so we need more extras. We're going to be holding an open audition for the roles at the end of the month."
"Do you have any recomndations in mind?"
Man-shik bit his lip in anticipation. "An open audition, you say?"
