Fear Shinrei seeped into the air, invisible and insidious.

Serpent-shaped Shade constructs burst from the ground, fangs dripping corrupted Shinrei.
Zeke slamd his fist down.

The ground erupted.
Lava pillars incinerated the serpents mid-air.
But duza was already behind him.
A dagger kissed his shoulder.

He spun, fist blazing.

Kero finally spoke, voice low and distant.

Miraku's mask cracked.
Sothing ancient looked out through the fractures.
Bakuza planted his feet beside him.
Crimson veins burned brighter.
"We hit him together."
Gorou's stance widened.
Stone Shinrei flowed deeper into the seal behind him.
The ground trembled.

Miraku raised both hands.

He looked up at Bakuza.

He pushed.
The shockwave blasted Bakuza across the valley, crashing him through three stone ridges.
Miraku froze mid-laugh.
"…That hurt him."
Gorou turned.
Stone Shinrei coiled around his arm like a continent awakening.
"Leave."
Miraku tilted his head.
Then
The seal behind Gorou pulsed violently.
A different presence stirred.
Ancient.
Heavy.
Hungry.
Gorou's eyes widened a fraction.
"…No."
Deep beneath the stone
Sothing answered.
And far away
Khael felt his heart scream.
The seal of Kaom had begun to react.
The ground split.
A voice echoed from nowhere and everywhere
"Who… calls my na?"
The battlefield froze.
The giants' heartbeat returned.
And the war for the shard truly began
