Akira’s eyes narrowed.
"Let’s begin," he said seriously.
In the next mont, a flash of white light appeared on the field.
Don watched as the light stretched and squeezed like a ball of dough before suddenly vanishing.
But its disappearance triggered sothing even bigger.
A thick, yellow wave of Aura surged out in all directions like a tsunami.
In seconds, the whole field was covered in it, and the pure white ground of the Digital World started sprouting grains of sand.
The sand multiplied until it ford massive dunes.
Don’s eyes narrowed, his eyelids twitching on their own.
This was his body’s way of warning him of danger.
He saw it clearly: the mont this new Aura Beast appeared, the entire battlefield changed.
’No way... He’s bringing out a creature like this for a simple spar?’ Don thought, his pupils shrinking.
It seed a bit overkill.
He also noticed this Aura Beast was totally different from the last one.
Kyogre had an ocean aura and made it rain.
This one had a vast desert vibe and created a sandstorm.
They were two completely different types of power!
’So... does that an he has two of them?’ Don couldn’t believe the young man in front of him was this strong.
But as he carefully sensed the creature’s aura, sothing felt off.
This one seed... a lot weaker than the first one.
It felt like it was about on his level.
Don got a thoughtful look on his face.
This "Akira" kid was getting more and more interesting.
As Don was thinking, the battlefield grew more chaotic.
Gusts of wind whipped up the sand, forming a massive sandstorm.
At the center of it, a colossal figure appeared! Its sharp, crimson eyes could send a chill down your spine.
"ROAR!!!"
With a deafening roar, the beast stomped on the sand dune beneath it.
Its wild, fierce aura exploded outwards, making everyone take notice.
It was covered in thick, armor-like plating that shined like tal, and its body was built like a tank.
Its razor-sharp fangs looked like they could bite through steel.
Thanks to the huge energy from ga Evolution, its back had split open, forming six jagged spikes.
Its armor was full of holes, and the plating on its belly and back had turned from blue to red, bursting with violent power.
Now covered in unbreakable armor, this "Iron Giant" looked completely dominant.
Just standing there, it was obvious this thing had insane power.
ga Evolution, Tyranitar!
Facing an opponent like Don, Akira had Tyranitar ga Evolve right away to make it an even fight.
It made sense for a sparring match.
Summoning Kyogre would have been overkill, and that’s not what Don wanted.
As he thought about it, Akira noticed a new incubation bar had appeared in his mind after he t Don.
It was clearly connected to him.
’What kind of Pokémon will it be?’ he wondered.
Judging by Don’s creepy, dark aura, he guessed it was probably a Ghost or Dark-type, maybe even related to his Nen Ability.
On the other side of the field, Don stared at the domineering Tyranitar and muttered to himself.
He recognized the "King" trait in it—the unmistakable aura of a species’ leader.
He’d seen it in the Dark Continent, but never in an Aura Beast.
He made a ntal note to ask Akira about it after their fight.
But for now, it was ti to enjoy the battle!
Don’s eyes glead as he casually walked toward Tyranitar.
To everyone watching, he looked like an old man on a stroll, but in the blink of an eye, he had crossed a huge distance.
It was the kind of thing only possible with raw power.
The next mont, Don vanished.
When he reappeared, there was a deafening, heaven-shaking boom!
He and Tyranitar were no longer in their spots.
A large fist and a small fist had slamd into each other.
The explosive sound was just from a single punch.
A violent gust of wind howled outwards from where they stood.
Don’s murky eyes t Tyranitar’s crimson ones, and they both saw the fighting spirit rising in each other.
This was going to be a good fight.
Suddenly, two different types of Aura erupted from their bodies.
Tyranitar’s heavy, yellow Aura clashed with Don’s bizarre, dark-tainted white Aura.
The energy was so intense it created a storm across the battlefield, splitting the sky above them with a clear dividing line.
Neither one could get the upper hand; it was a stalemate.
’A draw on the first exchange?’ Akira thought, crossing his arms and watching the blockbuster-level fight.
Everything was going as he expected.
But one thing caught his eye: Don’s exposed hand.
He was always covered in a black mist, but when he threw the punch, his hand was visible for a split second.
It was a strange sight.
The hand was withered and shriveled like a dead tree branch, so small it looked like it could turn to dust.
Akira had seen that before.
It looked just like Netero’s body after he used all his life force against the Chira Ant King.
And yet, unbelievably, that sa frail-looking hand had just blocked Tyranitar’s punch.
This old man really was full of secrets.
anwhile, Don was also thinking, but he was amazed by Tyranitar’s strength.
’Such power... truly a true King’, he thought with a nod.
’Looks like I can really enjoy myself this ti.’
"Your hand is big, but I won’t lose either~" he said out loud.
Instantly, the black mist around Don swirled, and his withered right hand began to expand as energy flooded into it.
Like a balloon, it swelled up in monts until his fist was the sa size as Tyranitar’s.
His arm no longer looked withered but was now full and powerful.
’Is this Popeye eating spinach? Or Luffy using Gear Third?’ Akira thought, raising an eyebrow.
Don pulled his giant fist back and then launched it toward Tyranitar even faster than before.
Tyranitar quickly shifted to defense, crossing its arms as a silvery-white light flashed across its body.
Steel-type move—Iron Defense!
The already tough armor beca even more unbreakable.
