Tyranitar’s battle was "raging with fire"—quite literally, as the battlefield was engulfed in flas.
anwhile, the other side was equally intense.
Jan, the strongest of the three, took a single, unassuming step, yet his figure flashed into the distance like a streak of light.
His massive right arm now shone brilliantly, its golden hue almost entirely replaced by a diamond-like radiance.
At a glance, it resembled a colossal diamond pillar.
The sheer pressure from his punch whipped up a gale, the air itself exploding from the force—enough to shatter a small mountain with a casual strike!
Each of the three Golden Giants had unique traits, but Jan was the strongest due to his well-rounded attributes.
After acquiring the Treasure Diamond trait, Jan gained an even harder body and greater strength!
His chosen opponent was Lucario!
The Dynamaxed Lucario remained unfazed, its right fist clenched into a massive ball.
The mont it tightened its grip, a surge of orange-red Aura flickered like flas, instantly enveloping the entire fist.
Lucario’s gaze sharpened abruptly, turning as fierce as a wolf locking onto its prey on the plains.
Jan moved swiftly, but those piercing eyes never lost sight of its figure.
Before Lucario, who wielded the power of Aura, Jan was like a walking tracking device.
As long as it remained on the field, Lucario would never lose track of it!
Locking onto the enemy’s attack trajectory, Lucario suddenly threw a punch, its fist carrying an overwhelming force.
Fighting-type move: Power-Up Punch!
Jan narrowed its eyes, choosing not to dodge but to et the attack head-on.
A fist enveloped in orange-red Aura clashed against a diamond-armored limb, the two contrasting colors painting the battlefield.
An invisible dividing line seed to form between them, clearly separating the two opposing forces.
In an instant, the two collided.
"BOOM!"
A montary pause, followed by a violent impact that generated another gust of wind.
The recoil forced Lucario to take a step back, while Jan was pushed back two steps.
Steadying itself, Jan muttered darkly, "A bit lacking, huh..."
Their strengths were roughly on par, but subtle differences still existed.
This first exchange revealed the gap.
Lucario only retreated one step, while Jan took two—clearly, it was slightly weaker.
anwhile, Jon fixed its gaze on the bizarre-looking Porygon-Z, whose jet-like propulsion gave it considerable speed.
With arms outstretched, it released two streams of gas that instantly solidified into massive ice pillars.
Though the attack began as gas, the real threat was the enormous ice spikes!
The sharp tips of the ice spikes radiated a bone-chilling cold, freezing the surrounding air in an instant.
Porygon-Z hovered mid-air, its body inverted, its chanical eyes gleaming.
It seed to be inviting the attack.
Unexpectedly, both ice spikes struck Porygon-Z dead-on!
In that mont, countless shards of ice scattered through the air, breaking into fragnts of varying sizes, many dissolving into mist.
The battlefield was instantly filled with moisture, as if a rainstorm had just passed.
Jon frowned, its usually calm expression shifting to one of confusion.
Compared to its counterpart, its opponent seed... weaker?
Jon knew its attack was swift, precise, and ruthless—from releasing the gas, freezing it, to striking the target, all in the blink of an eye.
Yet, it couldn’t shake the feeling that victory had co too easily.
Given the opponent’s aura, it shouldn’t have been this simple, right?
In Jon’s eyes, Porygon-Z’s body had been pierced by the ice spikes, deflating like a punctured balloon, its form shrinking.
Then, its body grew hazy, leaving behind only a tattered green dinosaur plushie in its place.
The plushie, too, began to fade away.
What... is this?
Was this the creature’s true form?
Jon froze montarily, unable to process what had just happened.
Normal-type move: Substitute!
In the next mont, Porygon-Z and its substitute plushie vanished completely, replaced by—
Gardevoir!
Psychic-type move: Ally Switch!
Gardevoir’s pink Aura surged violently, as if it had been charging up for this very mont.
In its elegant hands, countless strands of pink Aura stirred restlessly, as though ti itself had frozen in that instant!
Jon’s pupils contracted.
Without ti to think, he imdiately expelled a massive surge of gas, attempting to use the recoil to evade.
Gardevoir seed to have anticipated this, releasing another pre-prepared skill in advance.
Normal-type skill Disable!
The original effect of Disable is: Hinders the opponent’s movent, preventing the last used move from being employed for the next four turns.
In the real world, it naturally also had the effect of impeding the opponent’s actions, causing Jon’s movents to falter.
And it was precisely this mont that caused Jon to lose the best opportunity to escape!
"Gardevoir!"
The Dynamaxed Gardevoir let out a light shout, exuding far more majesty than its normal form.
The layers of Aura in its hands surged forth with overwhelming force, forming a violent impact!
Psychic-type skill Psychic!
Originally a powerful STAB move, combined with the pre-set Psychic Terrain...
This seemingly simple attack possessed terrifyingly high power.
Jon widened his eyes, desperately trying to dodge or use his gas for defense.
But due to Disable, his movents were severely sluggish.
The gas composing his body seed to solidify at this mont, becoming extrely difficult to move.
Feeling the overwhelming energy fluctuations, Jon’s mind raced before he gritted his rocky teeth and made a difficult decision.
If he took this attack head-on without any defensive asures, even if he didn’t die, he would be severely injured!
With a trendous explosion, the battlefield was instantly left in complete disarray, countless rocks pulverized into dust.
The swirling pink Aura was particularly conspicuous, amplified by the Psychic Terrain to create massive disturbances.
Gardevoir paid no attention to the enormous crater on the ground, instead focusing intently on Jon in the opposite corner.
The current Jon looked utterly disheveled, his form inexplicably smaller by one size, especially when compared to the other two Golden Giants.
At the sa ti, wisps of grayish-white gas were escaping from his body.
Just like a human’s vital energy, Jon’s aura was visibly weakening.
Apart from the massive crater, the attack zone also contained similar strands of grayish-white gas.
Leaning against the rock wall, Jon no longer maintained his initial composure, instead wearing a pained expression.
Jon looked up slightly at Gardevoir as if gazing at a man-eating beast, trembling both physically and ntally.
Even now, he still didn’t understand why their positions as hunter and prey had suddenly reversed.
Not only had the enemy prepared attacks in advance, but they had also used so unknown ability to immobilize him.
Had he not steeled his heart and sacrificed part of his body at the last mont, escape would have been impossible.
The power of that attack was also shockingly imnse, completely unlike what a creature of his level should be capable of producing.
Jon’s mind was in turmoil.
As his emotions intensified, the gas emanating from his body gradually turned red.
And this was only their first exchange!
Having suffered such a setback already, what would co next?
Despite his overwhelming shock, Jon understood this was no ti for hesitation.
This was battle!
Straightening his posture, Jon exhaled lightly: "Hah..."
Mixed within this turbid breath were scattered fragnts, expelled along with the exhalation.
Suddenly, most of Jon’s body transford into gas, barely retaining any semblance of the Golden Giant form.
He now more closely resembled a gaseous giant.
Inside, the swirling colors could practically form a rainbow of gases.
Different colors correspond to different gases, each capable of launching distinct attacks.
For instance, the ice spikes from earlier were released in this manner.
Jon understood clearly—simple attacks would be utterly ineffective.
It had to get serious now!
Gardevoir’s brows furrowed slightly as she noticed Jon’s aura intensifying, clearly signaling an all-out offensive.
Yet Gardevoir didn’t pay it too much mind—it rely ant enduring a few more attacks at most.
Seizing the mont before Jon could act, Gardevoir waved her hands again, as if polishing two gleaming mirrors in rapid succession before her.
These "gleaming mirrors" didn’t just appear before Gardevoir—they also manifested near Lucario and Porygon-Z.
Seeing Gardevoir make another move, Jon hastily retreated several steps sideways, fearing another identical attack.
But it soon realized it might have been mistaken.
Psychic-type move Light Screen!
Psychic-type move Reflect!
Gardevoir knew its role very clearly.
Among the three Pokemons, Porygon-Z served as the special attacker, functioning as an artillery unit with high-powered long-range moves.
Lucario, as the close combatant, was responsible for engaging Jan, who was of a similar type, excelling in both special and physical attacks.
Gardevoir could also serve as an artillery unit, but in team battles, its supportive abilities were far more crucial.
It could unleash nurous support moves, which were imnsely useful in group combat.
For instance, Light Screen and Reflect, when combined, could halve all damage taken by allies on the battlefield.
These endless arrays of moves were part of what made Pokemons so captivating.
Even if the surface-level strength of both sides appeared nearly equal, enemies of similar capability stood little chance against the Pokemons.
Because their abilities, moves, and effects were overwhelmingly powerful!
This was a unique trait of the Pokemons.
To defeat them, one’s raw strength had to surpass theirs to even stand a chance.
rely deploying a field move could boost the power of Psychic-type moves by half—sothing unimaginable to others.
Not to ntion the various rule-based moves.
Gardevoir had gained a significant advantage, and the sa went for Porygon-Z, which had been swapped in.
With a flash of light, Porygon-Z appeared in Gardevoir’s original position.
This side seed eerily calm, devoid of any enemies, starkly contrasting the "fist-to-flesh" battles raging nearby.
It was as if they existed in two entirely different worlds.
Porygon-Z hovered silently in the air, its gaze fixed diagonally downward at the empty space below.
The next mont, ripples erged from the inky shadows, and in the blink of an eye, a figure leaped out.
Its form was ghostly, vanishing the mont it appeared, as if evaporating into thin air.
Then, suddenly, a shadow materialized behind Porygon-Z, ard with two sharp claws capable of tearing through almost anything.
Jun’s eyes showed no emotion, and its presence was so suppressed it rivaled the concealnt of Zetsu!
True to its na, Jun moved with eerie unpredictability, drifting like a specter, leaving no trace.
It could also mask its presence, making it a natural-born assassin.
Had the Zoldyck Family encountered Jun, they might have been tempted to capture it just to study its secrets.
Like the three Pokemons, the three Golden Giants had clearly defined roles.
Jan, the most balanced in overall strength, served as the main attacker, while Jon, with its versatile effects, often played a supportive role—though its own strength was nothing to scoff at.
The most unique among them was Jun, which had gained its special abilities after consuming a rare Shadow Stone.
Shadow Stones: Found only in the deepest underground where Black Tremor Rock exists, they are exceedingly rare.
Shadow Stones grow in a peculiar manner, existing as shadows clinging to Black Tremor Rock. To consu one, the rock itself must be ingested.
Touching a Shadow Stone causes a creature’s presence to diminish in a unique way, and prolonged exposure carries the risk of death.
This peculiar thod of suppression weakens a creature’s presence, granting it exceptional stealth.
Given Jun’s natural affinity for assassination as a thod of attack, it naturally beca an "assassin."
Able to freely traverse between different shadows, combined with minimizing its presence to the extre... all these factors ca together.
This ant Jun could beco a terrifying killer that struck fear into the hearts of its enemies!
From any angle of evaluation, it was flawless.
As long as the opponent wasn’t overwhelmingly stronger, Jun was confident it could kill them!
However, its sharp claws didn’t tear Porygon-Z apart as Jun had expected.
Instead, they struck a faint green barrier.
Though the barrier wasn’t thick, no matter how hard Jun exerted itself, it couldn’t pierce through.
In that brief mont, it decided to retreat first!
Perhaps due to innate talent, Jun instinctively understood the principle of "strike once, then flee a thousand miles."
It appeared quickly and vanished just as fast, its body flickering back into the shadows.
In the dim underground light, Jun moved as effortlessly as a fish in water.
Unfortunately, it had encountered Porygon-Z.
Porygon-Z’s eyes shifted, its Aura converging toward them, and sohow, it could see Jun within the shadows.
Normal-type move: Lock-On!
This was the terrifying aspect of Pokemon moves!
