"Successfully hunted the Child of Destiny in the One-Punch Man World. Based on the situation, you are rewarded with Dice rolls. Congratulations, you have received 4 chances, and your VIP Luck has increased by 1."
Seeing the ssage, Lucien finally felt a wave of relief wash over him.
After an entire year, that man had finally been worn down and killed by his hands.
Lucien had lived comfortably throughout that year, with no shortages of food or resources. But Saitama was different. In a state of isolation and helplessness, he endured for a full year before finally dying. That level of persistence was sothing few could achieve.
"Initiate travel to Earth."
As Lucien ford the thought, his voice echoed directly in the minds of the three Geryuganshoop inside the control room.
Imdiately, the spaceship began charging for a spatial jump.
A fist sized Dice appeared and started bouncing lightly. Without hesitation, Lucien used his VIP Luck.
"One Senzu Bean."
"Description: A miraculous food from Dragon Ball. Eating one can keep you full for ten days, restore stamina and energy almost instantly, and even regenerate lost limbs. It brings the body back to peak condition, but it does not cure diseases."
Lucien nodded slightly as he examined the item.
At a critical mont, this was equivalent to having an extra life. VIP Luck had not disappointed him.
Still, there was a trace of regret.
Whether it was ordinary Luck or VIP Luck, powerful abilities like Thunder Breathing, Ki techniques, Kahaha, or other high tier skills rarely appeared.
Not long after, the spaceship reappeared at Earth's original coordinates.
Lucien stepped into the control room, his eyes sweeping across the area, but Saitama's corpse was nowhere to be found.
He had planned to absorb it, especially the soul. That would have been a trendous boost.
"Where is the body?"
His senses expanded instantly, covering everything within range, yet there was no trace of Saitama.
Lucien slowly turned his head toward the three Geryuganshoop. His expression darkened.
He had specifically ordered them to monitor Saitama.
"Ma… Master…"
"He got lost."
Geryuganshoop's face was pale, sweat pouring down as fear consud him. In truth, they had lost track of Saitama five months ago.
"When?"
"Five months ago."
The mont the words left his mouth, the temperature in the room seed to drop.
Lucien reached out.
In an instant, Geryuganshoop's soul was ripped from his body. At the sa ti, countless sharp thorns pierced through his physical form, tearing it apart until nothing remained but drifting dust.
"Useless trash. Why was this not reported?"
Five months had passed. In a universe this vast, Saitama could have drifted anywhere.
Still, Lucien was certain of one thing.
Saitama was dead.
Without a life sustaining planet, surviving in space for that long was impossible.
Lucien abandoned the idea of searching for the corpse. The chances were too small, and he had no ti to waste.
Inside the control room, every remaining alien lowered their heads, trembling in silence.
Lucien stood there, staring into the endless void outside, deep in thought.
Ten minutes later, everything changed.
Every monster, alien, and hero aboard the ship was absorbed by Lucien.
Sykos, Mosquito Girl, Beast King, along with countless others, their bodies and souls devoured completely.
In the end, only Lucien remained.
He opened the light screen and reviewed the flashing information.
Including the Dice he had saved before, he now possessed a total of 19 rolls, enough to combine into one ordinary Luck.
Without hesitation, he rged them.
The Dice spun rapidly, glowing with a bright white light. When it finally stopped, Lucien's eyes widened slightly, followed by a rare smile.
"Future Prediction increased by one second."
A single second.
Yet the significance was enormous.
From the ti he first obtained Future Prediction in the Pirate World to reaching two seconds, it had taken him nearly nine years of relentless effort.
And now, with a single roll, he had gained another second.
That one second saved him nearly a decade.
The further this ability progressed, the harder it beca to improve. In the future, gaining even one second might require decades, or even a century.
Lucien's grin stretched wide.
This was obtained from ordinary Luck, not even VIP Luck.
When fortune arrived, it was unstoppable.
His earlier frustration disappeared completely.
During his ti in the One Punch Man world, he had only rolled the Dice five tis.
Random Transmigration plus one.
Resurrection Coin.
Stamina Earring.
One Senzu Bean.
Future Prediction increased by one second.
Few rolls, yet every reward was extrely valuable.
Now, he still had nine Dice rolls remaining, just one short of forming another ordinary Luck.
However, his greatest gain was not from the Dice.
It was the activation of his fourth and fifth near death abilities.
Especially the fifth evolution of his life force.
Even after using a Resurrection Coin, the gains far exceeded the cost.
The only regret was letting that JK uniform girl escape.
And the remaining Ultraman reincarnator had yet to appear.
At least one had been eliminated.
These reincarnators were becoming increasingly difficult to kill. Their strength had risen to the point where they could return to the Main God Space at will.
That ant fewer opportunities for profit.
And more enemies hunting him.
This path, where everyone stood against him, had only just begun.
More than ten minutes later, the spaceship exploded behind him.
Lucien stood alone in the vacuum of space.
Without hesitation, he activated Random Transmigration.
He had no intention of spending years cultivating again like he did in the Pirate World.
He would move forward, world after world.
One day after Lucien left, at the sa location in the vast emptiness, a brilliant white light suddenly appeared.
When it faded, a towering figure stood in space.
Diga Ultraman.
One of the three reincarnators Lucien had encountered before, finally arriving too late.
"Failed to hunt the Darkness. 200,000 exchange points deducted."
"Insufficient exchange points. Deducting lifespan…"
Pfft.
Hayato spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes turning bloodshot as he stared at the screen.
He had just arrived, yet the mission had already failed.
Was the Main God Space playing with him?
His body trembled with rage.
After a full minute of furious questioning, the reason finally appeared.
And it only made things worse.
Earth had been destroyed.
The Hero King was dead.
The Daughter of the Sun had failed.
The Darkness had already left the world.
All because of the World Shuttle Tracking Talisman.
From Hayato's perspective, his travel between worlds had been instantaneous.
But in reality, the delay had been massive.
No wonder the talisman had been discounted.
He had walked straight into disaster.
The mission failed before it even began.
If he tried again, he would probably die instantly.
He had not even had the chance to act.
His mind shattered under the pressure.
Looking at his remaining lifespan, now reduced to single digits, his heart ached.
Years of struggle, gone in an instant.
Anyone else would have gone insane.
Hayato drifted silently in space for an entire day, his mind blank, seeking nothing but peace.
A quiet sigh escaped him.
That single breath carried the weight of his entire life.
Soon after, a radiant light enveloped him.
And he vanished.
Returning to the Main God Space.
This mission would remain a scar he would never forget.
A bitter reminder of how cruel fate could be.
Yet, he was not alone in his misfortune.
Nana's situation was not much better.
At least she had so presence in this world.
As for Olatayo, he and Hayato had survived, giving them a chance to start again.
But Gabriel had no such opportunity.
For him, the story had already ended.
A truly tragic tale.
