Lu Yan sprinted through the woods for seven or eight miles. He only halted once he confird nobody was trailing him, and found a spring to wash off the blood stains on his hands.

"The Iron Thread Fist Avatar...he’s different than before."

Lu Yan’s attention was once again drawn to the Iron Thread Fist Avatar.

He climbed up a leafy tree, concealing himself among the branches, and focused his consciousness on entering the sea of consciousness, appearing next to the Iron Thread Fist Avatar.

The Iron Thread Fist Avatar was continuously practicing Iron Thread Fist, but now he was enveloped in a halo of light that made him seem sowhat sacred.

This was sothing new.

At the sa ti, Lu Yan felt like he had new insights about the Iron Thread Fist every minute.

And the displayed progress above the Avatar’s head was also increasing ceaselessly.

5%, 6%, 7%...

Lu Yan roughly calculated and found that about every minute or so, the progress would increase by one point.

With a thought, his mind rged with the Avatar. Lu Yan instantaneously found himself in a peculiar state.

With an empty mind but an active brain, imaginative thoughts constantly popped into his head. Every fist thrown would provide new insights about the Iron Thread Fist.

His training speed was far faster than normal.

"How odd, is this enlightennt?"

Lu Yan conjectured in joyful surprise.

What on earth was that sphere? After absorbing the Dao Book, it actually put his Iron Thread Fist Avatar into a state of enlightennt.

About an hour later, the Iron Thread Fist Avatar halted his practice. The light that surrounded him disappeared, and the progress of the Iron Thread Fist finalized at 50% of the Transcendent stage.

An increase of 50 percent in one go was astonishing. After all, he was already at the Transcendent stage. Eating ordinary ats wouldn’t increase progress at all at this stage.

If this thod could be applied from the start, wouldn’t it be possible to elevate a third-rate martial art to the Peak of Perfection in a single stroke?

An hour to reach the Peak of Perfection...

"What on earth was that sphere that produced such miraculous effects? If I could get another one, wouldn’t my Iron Thread Fist achieve the ’Unity of Man and Martial Arts’?"

Lu Yan’s heart burned with desire for more of those spheres. He decided to make a concerted effort to find more when he had the ti.

Jumping down from the tree, Lu Yan headed towards the outskirts of the mountain. To avoid suspicion, he specifically hunted a mountain goat and carried it on his back.

Deep into Changfeng Mountain, wildlife beca increasingly abundant. Hunting a mountain goat was not difficult.

Nothing unusual happened at the start, but after about ten or so miles, he was stopped by three figures.

Two of them were brawny n in their thirties. Towering and fierce, they resembled statues. One was about 1.9 ters tall while the other was slightly shorter.

The third was a chubby man with a fat face and large ears, probably in his fifties.

"Halt."

The taller brawny man blocked Lu Yan’s path, standing like a towering wall.

The chubby man stood on Lu Yan’s right while the other muscular man blocked his way from behind.

"Gentlen, what can I do for you?"

Lu Yan responded with a smiling face, maintaining the look of a simple hunter.

"Hand over everything you have. We need to inspect it."

Ordered the brawny man in front of him.

"Sir, doesn’t this breach the rules?"

Said Lu Yan.

"Rules? Let tell you, we are Leaf Seekers under the Wu Family’s command. Our words are the rules."

Laughed the brawny man coldly.

"The Wu Family? Could that skinny man from before have been a Leaf Seeker under their command?"

Lu Yan quietly feared.

There were many Leaf Seekers, of whom many were organized by Liu Family and Wu Family, accounting for nearly half of all Leaf Seekers.

The chances seed high.

The man near the valley earlier must have been a companion of the skinny middle-aged man.

The n must have found the skinny man’s corpse, as well as the stem of the Red Knife Leaf.

Based on the size of the stem, they probably deduced the weight of the Red Knife Leaf, which was why they blocked the way to inspect. If the weight of the Red Knife Leaf was close to their estimation, they would detain and interrogate imdiately.

Otherwise, the Wu Family wouldn’t have gone to such great lengths.

Lu Yan sighed at his ill fortune in his heart.

"Kid, what are you hesitating about?"

The brawny man in front, like a fierce beast, stared at Lu Yan. His qi-blood surged, giving off a suffocating oppressive aura, putting imnse pressure on Lu Yan.

"He has achieved a third limit-breaking. Definitely a third limit-breaking. A second limit-breaking warrior can’t possibly have such a powerful qi-blood fluctuation."

Lu Yan’s mind raced, but he maintained a respectful smile on his face, replying, "Gentlen, I am just a humble hunter, carrying only a few ga on . If you wish to inspect, I will oblige."

Upon finishing, Lu Yan set down the yellow sheep and hunting bow he carried.

"What is that cloth bag on you?"

The fat man on the right stared at the bag Lu Yan used to carry the Red Knife Leaf.

"It’s rely a bag made from a Firefox skin. Allow to open it for your inspection," Lu Yan replied deferentially, looking genuinely anxious as he reached into the cloth bag.

Swish!

Lu Yan’s right hand tossed out a generous handful of red powder.

It was chili powder, a type known as Fla Pepper which was extrely spicy. Lu Yan had a small bag of it which he bought when purchasing the bow back in Changfeng City. It was a contingency purchase, and he never expected it to actually co in handy.

The robust man and the fat man didn’t expect Lu Yan to take action so suddenly, and both ended up with faces full of chili powder.

"Ah, it’s chili powder, my eyes..." The fat man let out a cry.

The burly man also grunted, instinctively stretching his hand to rub his eyes.

The attack from Lu Yan had already begun.

His body set into motion and pulsating with Qi-blood, he unleashed the full power of Iron Thread Fist, slamming it into the chest of the robust man.

As a true triple ’Limit Breaking’ warrior, the robust man had an incredibly powerful physical body and astonishing defensive might due to his pulsating Qi-blood. Regardless, he couldn’t withstand Lu Yan’s full-on punch.

With a loud crack, the robust man’s chest caved in. The burly, strong figure was thrown backward five or six ters, crashing into a big tree.

However, the life force of a triple ’Limit Breaking’ warrior is a lot stronger than that of a double limit breaker. Despite being injured, the robust man was trying to struggle and rise. Lu Yan swiftly advanced, gripping an arrow, and plunged it into the man’s throat.

Without missing a beat, he turned and chased after the fat man.

The fat man, in agonizing pain from the chili powder in his eyes and knowing sothing was terribly wrong, blindly sprinted away in sheer panic. He rubbed his eyes frantically, hoping to recover his vision a bit.

But he was blind, and his bulky body was not built for speed on rugged mountain trails. Lu Yan swiftly caught up to him.

Just as Lu Yan was about to punch him in the back, the fat man abruptly turned around and flung out a handful of white powder.

"It’s li; this guy is cunning," Lu Yan muttered under his breath.

Fortunately, he always carried chili powder with him, foreseeing any sneak attacks. As soon as he saw the powder, he dodged to the side, avoiding the li dust. He then darted like a cheetah towards the man, unleashing his Iron Thread Fist.

The fat man’s Qi-blood surged, and he fumbled blindly, but his strength was nothing compared to the robust man. He was only a double limit breaker, and posed little challenge to Lu Yan.

Spotting a gap, Lu Yan thrust his fist into the fat man’s chest. Even layers of fat couldn’t stop his iron fist; his chest was pierced through, his heart exploding into a pulpy ss.

Lu Yan didn’t even look back as he sped off towards the last robust man.

The last man, having seen the other robust limit breakers killed, knew things were going south and began to run like a madman.

Because his power was the weakest, only reaching a single limit break, his only chance of survival was to escape and relay the information to others.

Lu Yan, during the chase, picked up the iron bow he had initially discarded. When the distance shrunk to within a hundred ters, he fired an arrow.

Had he been using his old hunting bow, the arrow would have barely had any strength at this range. But with his new iron bow, the effective range of the bow had significantly increased.

Thud!

The arrow directly hit the fleeing man’s leg, causing him to trip and fall.

"You cannot kill , I am from the Wu family..." The last man yelled out.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

As he was sprinting, Lu Yan fired three consecutive arrows. The last man parried two but was impaled in the throat by the third. After struggling for a few monts, he laid still.

Within just a few minutes, all three ’limit-breaking’ warriors had been slain by Lu Yan.

Lu Yan understood it was their underestimation of him that led to their downfall. Since they didn’t take a young hunter like him seriously from the beginning, they were easily ambushed.

After all, Lu Yan was only fifteen. Despite his tall stature, his face still bore childish features.

A fifteen-year-old boy practicing martial arts, how strong could he be? Not everyone is an heir of so feudal lord’s family.

All they did was routine inspection, as whoever the murderer was, he might have had accomplices.

Had it not been for their oversight, the triple limit break robust man alone would have been more than enough to challenge Lu Yan.

Lu Yan quickly searched their bodies and found several silver tickets. He glanced at them and hurriedly tucked them into his bosom without taking a closer look.

Unfortunately, he didn’t find any of the spherical objects he had been hoping for.

Then, Lu Yan ditched the iron bow and the yellow sheep, and with only the Red Knife Leaf, he made his way deeper into the mountains.

He couldn’t afford to head back the way he ca. Who knew how many of the Wu family’s leaf seekers were waiting to intercept him?

Now he had to find another route. He needed to walk a stretch into the deeper mountains and then go around. Fortunately, he didn’t et any more interceptors on this route and safely made it back to Changfeng City.
