Continued inaction would inevitably lead to discovery.
So many people standing motionless were essentially waiting to be caught.
Inside his room, Loki smiled faintly with his eyes closed.
If the anesthetic in the food was a precaution taken by Cheadle, then the current attempt to capture him was certainly not her doing.
Cheadle, the mastermind behind the Zodiacs, was a Hunter who had witnessed Loki’s power firsthand.
She wouldn’t be foolish enough to send such incompetent individuals against him.
Clearly, news of his presence within the Hunter Association had been leaked.
Loki didn’t concern himself with how the leak occurred, but these persistent harassnts were incredibly annoying.
This was the perfect opportunity to test his newly acquired genjutsu abilities.
Loki’s new ability, Uchiha Itachi’s genjutsu, proved remarkably potent. Itachi’s genjutsu wasn’t limited to his Sharingan.
In the Naruto world, a re flick of Itachi’s finger during his battle with Naruto had been enough to ensnare him in genjutsu. Even without the Sharingan, Itachi’s genjutsu was formidable.
Against these barely third-rate Nen users, this level of genjutsu was more than sufficient.
Loki shifted in his bed, sensing the infiltration of a third group.

Bushidora abruptly lowered his binoculars, his teeth clenched.
"What in the world is going on?" he muttered, utterly bewildered.
There were no Nen fluctuations, no unusual occurrences.
His n stood frozen like statues.
If this continued, they would be discovered by the Zodiacs at dawn.
While not exceptionally strong, these were still qualified Hunters.
Their capture would be a significant blow to the Pure Paladin Squad faction, even if it were only a few dozen individuals.

To lose them so inexplicably would be a devastating setback.
Just then, his phone rang—it was Teradein and Loupe. Bushidora answered.
Teradein’s voice ca through. "How’s it going?"
Bushidora, looking at the motionless figures in the distance, didn’t know how to respond.
He gritted his teeth. "Don’t worry, we’ll bring that brat back soon."
Teradein and Loupe trusted Bushidora’s abilities. He was a one-star bounty hunter and a disciplinary committee mber of the Association; his strength was undeniable.
After hanging up, Bushidora stared at the Association building.
"No, I can’t leave them like this."
He had to intervene personally. He needed to discover what force had rendered his n into puppets.
He descended to Loki’s floor. At the end of the hallway, his n stood motionless, like vacant shells.
Bushidora walked towards Loki’s room. He could accept if Loki had eliminated his n; after all, rumors spoke of this brat fighting Netero, a user of fire Nen, a monster. Even as a child, his strength wouldn’t be underestimated.
But this inexplicable situation was baffling.
He needed answers.
At Loki’s door, Bushidora gently nudged one of his n.
There was no response.
Bushidora turned his gaze towards the room.
Reason told him not to enter, but curiosity, a fundantal human trait, compelled him.
He had co this far; he couldn’t resist.
Stepping into Loki’s room, Bushidora froze.
Loki stood by the window, calmly observing the scenery outside. The wind gently stirred his wine-red hair. A strange aura made Bushidora break out in a cold sweat.
Loki wasn’t emitting any Nen, yet an invisible pressure weighed heavily upon him.
Every movent of that figure exerted imnse pressure.
’What’s going on? Why this terrifying pressure? What kind of monster is this brat?’
"Were these people sent by you?" Loki’s cold voice echoed.
Bushidora swallowed hard. Loki’s voice was like a chilling wind, sending a shiver down his spine. He felt as if he’d forgotten how to use his Nen.
His gaze was fixed on Loki’s back—an ordinary figure, yet sohow terrifying.
Without waiting for an answer, Loki slowly turned.
Suddenly, crimson eyes locked onto Bushidora. Three black dots appeared within those crimson eyes.
Bushidora’s face went deathly pale.
Bushidora’s eyes widened in terror. His complexion rapidly paled; his body froze, as if encased in ice.
Under that gaze, it was as if a monstrous beast had opened its jaws to devour him.
Bushidora felt his breathing beco incredibly labored.
He was a one-star Hunter, a bounty hunter.
He’d faced countless terrifying enemies, yet today, he realized that those encounters paled in comparison to this.
Compared to this boy, his previous formidable opponents seed as insignificant as grains of sand.
