Hisoka’s eyes narrowed, fixated on the dozen or so larger ’insects’ ahead. He let out a cold laugh.
"Except for the bird in the sky, the rest of the bugs are yours, Hisoka!" Loki, his gaze never leaving Koruto, said calmly.
"Understood!"
Licking his lips, Hisoka raised his arms, the Spade Hisoka card clutched in his hand.
The mont the Chira Ants attacked, Ponzu yelled to Balda, "Get out of the way!"
Bang! A Nen bullet shot out, instantly piercing the skull of the Chira Ant in front of Balda. Balda quickly retreated to Ponzu’s side.
He and Ponzu glanced at Pakunoda, who was slowly lowering her handgun. "Thank you."
Pakunoda glanced at Ponzu. "Don’t worry, leave it to that madman. These disgusting bugs will disappear soon."
Loki found Pakunoda’s actions strange.
eting Loki’s gaze, Pakunoda turned to him. "What? Is it strange?"
"Such a cute girl, I don’t want to see her scared and crying," Pakunoda said, seemingly having awakened so strange protective instinct.
Loki ignored her; she could do whatever she wanted as long as it didn’t affect him.
Taking out a Chira Ant soldier instantly surprised Koruto. He glanced at Pakunoda, thinking, Where did that weapon co from? Her attack power is incredible!
Rip rip! The sound of dismbernt filled the air. Koruto turned towards his soldiers.
His eyes widened in shock. One after another, his soldiers were instantly torn apart by Hisoka, cut in half, bisected, or decapitated.
One by one, they fell. In five or six seconds, all his soldiers were dead.
"This..." Koruto’s eyes trembled slightly, the stench of blood filling the air.
Hisoka shook his blood-stained hands, looking up at Koruto. "These bugs are too weak. I haven’t even ward up yet."
Koruto, eyes wide, mouth agape, froze in mid-air.
He killed a squad of my soldiers that fast. That Nen user is incredibly strong. Even I’m no match for him.
He glanced at Pakunoda and Baise, who hadn’t yet moved. The other Nen users haven’t even made a move yet.
Even without the King of Humanity, their threat is imnse! I need to inform the others imdiately.
Koruto’s wings fluttered, preparing to flee.
As he instinctively reacted, a face appeared in his vision—Loki’s face, less than a ter away. Koruto’s eyes widened.
’When did this human...’ He had assud humans couldn’t fly, but Loki had appeared before him in an instant.
"Thought you could escape just because you can fly?" Loki smiled faintly.
As the sound reached Koruto’s ears, a terrifying force struck his face.
A kick, too fast for Koruto to see, sent him plumting from the sky.
Thump! Koruto crashed into the ground, creating a large crater. Loki landed softly, his white cloak billowing gently.
Balda, holding Ponzu’s hand, stared wide-eyed at Loki’s descent.
’When did he move? He was just beside a mont ago!’
Under the moonlight, the group moved forward. Koruto had escaped, but Loki didn’t pursue him. This was strange. Balda and the others wouldn’t understand, but Hisoka and Pakunoda did.
With that monster’s abilities, escaping Loki was impossible.
His escape wasn’t luck; Loki had deliberately let him go. But why?
Hisoka and Pakunoda didn’t ask.
Loki, leading the way, headed towards a factory that Koruto rembered had recently been overrun by another Chira Ant Squadron Leader, Yunju.
Koruto had been on his way to Yunju’s location to collect humans when he discovered Loki and his group, leading a squad of Chira Ants to eliminate them.
However, Loki’s group’s power far exceeded Koruto’s expectations, forcing him to flee.
Walking at the front, Loki looked at the distant cliff face, with its artificially carved openings. That must be the location of the main organization.
’Killing Chira Ant soldiers and Squadron Leaders hasn’t triggered a mission,’ Loki thought.
’So I’ll follow the original plot. Let Koruto escape, let the Chira Ants awaken Nen. Let’s try these thods. If that still doesn’t trigger a mission...’
Loki narrowed his eyes, ’then I’ll just kill them all.’
With Loki’s current power, even the King wouldn’t be a problem! Even if he couldn’t defeat the King, killing him would be easy.
He could simply nuke him.
Obtaining a small nuclear weapon wasn’t difficult for Loki; he could buy one on the black market.
Sothing like the Poor Man’s Rose Netero used—that level of explosive was easily obtainable.
Loki was confident.
He only wanted to trigger the mission; danger was inconsequential.
Under the bright moonlight, Loki and his group disappeared into the dense forest.
Under the sa moonlight, Vice Chairman Pariston was reviewing recent strange reports.
Hunters had reported unknown creatures in the area, with danger levels pending assessnt.
’Unknown creatures?’ Pariston smirked.
He clicked the delete button on his computer.
"Cheadle’s already stressed enough; let’s not add to her worries!"
Deleting the files, Pariston left his office. Cheadle, carrying coffee back to her room, glanced at Pariston. "You’re leaving?"
"Yes, it’s late. I need to rest. I’ll finish the remaining tasks tomorrow."
"Hmph! The Association is in this state because of irresponsible Vice Chairn like you! That’s why the Chairman got hurt!"
