Apart from his initial appearance, there was nothing extraordinary about him; he looked completely ordinary. Yet, this ordinariness felt different to Eta.
"Now, I’ll explain how to use the two basic spells in the ga. May we begin?"
The two basic spells in Greed Island were collect and combine. The first summoned the card book; the second transford collected cards back into items when their nas were spoken. This process was irreversible.
Loki only half-listened to Eta’s explanation. His main goal wasn’t to play the ga, though he was interested in how Greed Island was created.
Such a large island, populated with nurous players, with countless ga items and special spell cards—the Nen and abilities required were beyond his imagination.
The explanation ended quickly, and Loki left the starting area.
After he left, Eta watched him go.
’This player feels different from the others,’ she thought.
Loki, leaving the starting area, saw Hisoka, Goreinu, and Pakunoda sitting on the grass.
"Finally! This ga seems interesting. Should we conquer it while searching for the Nen remover?" Hisoka asked.
Loki nodded. "We can, but don’t forget our main objective: finding the Nen remover."
Pakunoda stood, continuing Loki’s question. "Since you know a Nen remover is here, where is he?"
"If I knew, would I need you all to help find him?"
This answer surprised Hisoka and the others. They assud Loki, knowing the Nen remover was present, would know their approximate location.
They wanted to ask how Loki knew about the Nen remover, but seeing his expression, they remained silent.
Only Goreinu seed hesitant.
"Goreinu, do you want to say sothing?" Loki asked.
Goreinu quickly replied, "I... I want to try conquering the ga. Finding the Nen remover with just us might be difficult. If we could contact other players, offering a reward for their help, it might be faster."
This was a good suggestion, but Loki, Hisoka, and Pakunoda shouldn’t be too conspicuous.
Even in casual clothes, there was no guarantee they wouldn’t be recognized. Soone could easily spread the word, even within the ga.
"Leave the ga conquest to you. If you encounter difficulties, you can ask us for help."
"Understood!!"
Loki frowned. "I feel like soone’s watching us.
This unseen gaze... where is it coming from?"
Hisoka and Pakunoda were surprised. They hadn’t felt anything. But Loki was probably right.
"Um... could soone be using a spell card to monitor us?" Goreinu said uncertainly.
They hadn’t considered this. Loki said, "I asked the newbie guide when I entered."
"Let’s check the nearest town."
Loki gave the order, and they set off.
anwhile, veteran players using surveillance magic to observe Loki’s group were watching him.
"Oh! What a cute kid! A kid like that actually entered Greed Island."
"Another group of clueless newbies! Let’s give them a lesson."
"They’re heading towards the town near the starting area. Let’s go!"
Five or six people stood up. These were newbie hunters, targeting unsuspecting newcors to steal their newly acquired cards.
As they prepared, the person monitoring Loki noticed sothing. Loki looked in his direction, as if he could see him. He blinked, and Loki looked away.
"Did I see wrong?"
The bearded man’s expression changed rapidly, his eyes filled with terror.
He never expected the monstrous kid to be in Greed Island. He was devastated.
Why this kid? The rumors about Loki weren’t just about destroying a building or attacking the Hunter Association headquarters; they were about his rciless killings, his strange flas reducing people to ashes. He was like a demon from legends.
Looking at the bearded man, Loki said, "Sorry. You didn’t have to die."
The burly man started crying.
A tough-looking guy... crying!
"Pathetic!"
Hisoka laughed coldly; such an opponent was uninteresting.
Swish! A bloody playing card appeared in Hisoka’s hand, blood dripping from the edge. He appeared behind Loki.
The n blocking Loki’s escape in the alleyway suddenly had crimson marks on their necks.
The bearded man, witnessing Hisoka’s killing, froze.
’So fast!’ Bang! Pakunoda fired a Nen bullet, piercing his skull. Blood splattered.
One by one, the bodies fell, lifeless.
The two on the rooftops saw their companions die.
Goreinu hadn’t moved yet.
Facing death, they unleashed their Nen, breaking free from the Black and White Gorillas’ hold, fleeing as fast as possible.
They only had one thought: escape! Against such a monster, no one could win.
It was a battle of different dinsions.
"Trying to escape?"
"You’re too slow."
They looked back to see Loki, airborne, his hands outstretched, red light emanating from his fingertips, forming small Nen bullets.
