The flas, created from Nen, were surprisingly close to real flas. This was what astonished Pariston the most.
Nen users can transform their Nen into other forms, a developnt of the Transformation type abilities.
But Nen is still Nen; it can’t truly transform into sothing real.
To transform Nen into sothing like real flas—that’s a talent few possess.
Loki’s expression was calm, devoid of any extra emotion. His Nen wasn’t particularly turbulent.
But Pariston knew it was best not to draw Loki’s attention.
He silently moved aside, remaining silent.
Kanzai was about to attack when a powerful Nen surge ca from the next room.
Buzz boom! Powerful Nen smashed through the already damaged wall. Botobai (Dragon), and Mizaistom (Horse) extinguished the flas in the room. They erged from the hole in the wall.
"No wonder the Chairman values him," Botobai said, his rare words directed at Loki. "Impressive power, but you’ve chosen the wrong path, kid."
Mizaistom stared at Loki silently, seemingly unhard aside from appearing slightly disheveled.
"Damn it! Damn it!" Saiyu (Boar) roared from the corridor outside, the only one seemingly injured, his arm burned by the flas. He’d been the last to leave the room.
Saiyu reappeared at the entrance, standing behind Netero, glaring at Loki. "Kid, you did this! Dare you injure ?"
Downstairs, Cheadle yelled at Ginta. "Why did you bring down? We need to eliminate the enemy!"
Ginta cald her. "The Chairman and the others are upstairs. It’ll be fine. You’re not a combatant, so don’t get involved."
"Thank you, Ginta. It would have been a disaster otherwise," said one of the non-combatant Zodiacs. They’d been evacuated by Ginta. Cheadle had been dragged down.
Ginta nodded to the others. "I didn’t expect an attack on the Association."
"This is the first attack in years. Did you see the attacker?"
Cheadle, still angry but grateful, said, "No. I was pulled out before I could see."
Cluck, Saccho, and Gel also shook their heads. "No, just flas."
Ginta frowned. "That person was strong! Fla abilities... is that the Chairman’s new disciple?"
"No, Ginta," Cheadle said.
"Fine, fine," Ginta shrugged, not wanting to argue.
Association mbers surrounded the Zodiacs downstairs.
"What happened, Cheadle-sama?"
"What was that explosion?"
"Is everyone upstairs alright?"
Cheadle found her role. She wasn’t fighting, but she had work to do.
"Soone attacked the Association. This could beco a battlefield. Evacuate everyone!"
The noisy crowd fell silent.
"Really?"
"Soone attacked the Hunter Association!!!"
"They chose today! This is a provocation!"
Cheadle’s face darkened. "Stop talking and evacuate!"
"With Chairman Netero, we don’t need to fear," soone said.
Cheadle turned. "With the Chairman and the Zodiacs, there’s no problem. But this could beco a battlefield. Everyone must leave."
She was angry, but not irrational. The flas had engulfed an entire floor. The building would beco a battlefield. It would be dangerous.
The non-combatants, following Cheadle’s instructions, began evacuating the building.
Upstairs, Loki looked at the Zodiacs and Netero.
"Chairman Netero, long ti no see."
"The Twelve Zodiacs. Impressive. You almost got ."
Loki’s voice was calm, his expression indifferent.
Netero’s eyes narrowed. Loki’s personality seed unchanged, but Netero sensed a difference. His gaze was as still as a lake. This was too soon.
Netero had imagined countless scenarios of eting Loki again after issuing the warrant, but this was the worst.
No anger, no madness, no emotion—just calm. Expressions can be faked, but not eyes. Loki didn’t seem to care about his cris or what people thought of him.
Netero had imagined Loki enraged or saddened by the warrant, but he was indifferent. This was unexpected.
"Loki!" Netero said sadly.
Before he finished, Kanzai charged at Loki, his Nen surging into his hands, appearing before Loki instantly.
"You dare attack the Hunter Association?!" Kanzai roared, a deafening sound wave spreading.
