He stood slowly, testing his balance.

No broken bones.

Not even soreness.

His Nen control had been better than he thought.

"Either my body adapted faster than expected," he thought, "or I underestimated how much reinforcent Ten and use of Gyo actually gives."

Either way, it worked.

Conrad looked around.

He had landed in open grasslands.

In the distance, about five kiloters away, stood the city and its airport.

The airship was still descending, alarms flashing faintly along its hull.

He quickly moved away from the landing spot, heading toward a small dip in the terrain where he wouldn't be easily seen.

Once there, he checked the Red Diamond again.

"Good."

Conrad took a mont to calm himself completely.

He suppressed his aura again, entering Zetsu.

The situation replayed in his mind.

This was no longer theoretical.

He had crossed a line, and there was no going back.

From this point forward, mistakes would cost him far more than money.

But he didn't regret it.

"Survival cos first," he thought calmly.

He began walking toward the city.

Blueberry City ca into clearer view.

It was clean and modern, not large but well-developed.

Definitely not a major hub like Yorknew, but active enough to blend into.

That was good.

As he walked, Conrad reviewed his next steps.

First: sell the Red Diamond but not directly.

He would need a broker, soone discreet.

Second: leave the city quickly. Blueberry was temporary.

Yorknew was still the goal.

He adjusted his coat, keeping the diamond hidden and secure.

The airship would land soon. Investigations would begin.

But by the ti anyone realized soone had jumped,

Conrad would already be gone.

He felt a faint smile form on his face.

"This worked," he thought.

Twenty minutes later, Conrad stepped fully into the city.

He nodded to himself.

He took out the phone he had bought earlier and checked the clock and date carefully.

He compared it with what he rembered from the series tiline.

"According to what I have seen and collected while I was in Zaban City and connecting to the web using the computer in the hotel..."

"There is about one year, one year until Gon catches The Lord Of The Lake and gets permission to take Hunter Exam."

It wasn't exact, but it was close enough.

"First priority," Conrad thought, "a bank account."

Cash was dangerous.

Carrying large amounts would draw attention.

And once he sold the Red Diamond, the amount involved would be too large to handle physically. He needed a proper place to move money quietly.

He walked into a local bank branch.

The process surprised him.

No citizenship check.

No background questions.

The clerk asked for a na and surna.

That was it.

"Conrad Everest," he said calmly.

The clerk typed it in, asked him to confirm, and within minutes, an account was created.

He received a card and basic access information.

He also deposited "100.000 Jenny" into the bank account and carried the rest of 50.000 Jenny in cash.

"This world really runs on money," Conrad thought as he rembered the words of Leorio.

With that done, he moved to the next step.

He found a small coffee shop on a side street not crowded,

The kind of place people used to rest, talk quietly, or think.

He entered, sat near a window, and ordered a black coffee and a simple dessert.

The coffee arrived.

Conrad took a slow sip.

Now ca the difficult part.

"I need to turn the Red Diamond into money," he thought. "And I need to do it fast."

Holding onto it was dangerous.

Every hour that passed increased the chance that soone would start tracing unusual.

The owner of the diamond would not sit still. Information would spread quietly, but quickly.

Conrad knew it better than just be arrogant just because of his capability of using nen.

From a certain point of view, such behavior is pretty rampant amongs to new nen users which would cause them take risks and get themselves killed.

Nobunaga made such a comnt to Hei-Ly Family mber Luini, who was drunk on getting his nen ability which caused him to get killed by Nobunaga.

He couldn't sell it openly.

He needed soone discreet.

Soone who dealt in valuables without asking questions.

Yorknew would be ideal for that but he wasn't there yet.

Still, even a smaller city like Blueberry would have connections.

Black markets existed everywhere.

People who bought things cheaply and sold them elsewhere.

Conrad didn't need the full two hundred million Jenny.

He understood that clearly.

"If I get half," he thought, "that's already more than enough."

Even one hundred million would secure years of freedom.

He took another sip of coffee and leaned back slightly.

"I need speed over profit," he decided.

That ant accepting a loss in exchange for safety.

He glanced around the café again.

None of them stood out.

That was fine.

Finding a buyer wouldn't happen here. But gathering information could.

Conrad finished his dessert slowly, keeping his movents relaxed.

His mind stayed sharp, but his body showed no tension.

He didn't want to look desperate.

After paying, he stood up and left the café.

But Conrad knew better.

Sowhere in this city or connected to it was soone who would buy a Red Diamond without asking where it ca from.

His next task was to find them before the diamond found him trouble.
