Staring at the thin eerie green fog enveloping the entirety of the school campus while pulsing intermittently, Alex couldn’t help but feel like the fog was staring back at him.
It almost felt like lurking in there was an entity that knew his every move.
Once again, PTSD struck him hard and his expression froze as he subconsciously gripped the window bars tightly.
"Sir."
Snapped out of the unfortunate reverie, Alex glanced at the one that called out to him to find that it was one of the male students.
"Yes, Mr. Leon?"
"Is everything alright?"
Realizing that he may have overreacted, Alex quickly composed himself as he nodded. "Of course. Most likely just a minor accident. I’m sure security will handle it."
"Mn."
"Now then, where was I?... Ah yes, I was about to give out an assignnt. So, your assignnt is this; what qualifies sothing or soone to be considered a part of the supernatural world?... All answers will be accepted and if you are willing, broken down so we get a better understanding. Is that okay?"
"Yes sir."
"Great, so I guess this marks the end of our class together. I look forward to our next eting. Good day."

There was an added sense of caution to Alex’s step as he crossed the hallway.
Now aware of the green fog, he felt as though a minor slip-up might end in unforeseen consequences that would be detrintal to his plans.
He wondered if Ana was aware of the school’s true nature while also pondering possible thods to reach out to Victoria, ensuring she didn’t pop by accidentally.
There was no knowledge about the origin of the green fog or what it was capable of from Lucius’s mories which ant currently, Alex was moving blindly, a feeling that reminded him of past experiences.
Pausing, Alex restrained the urge to utilize Eternal Night to calm himself as he knew an overuse would surely end in addiction.
He took deep breaths, calming himself after a few seconds before continuing on his way.
Just as he got to the pathway that led to where carriages congregated, intending to board one back to his quarters, he found one carriage arriving at that mont, driven by a familiar-looking maid.
Its door was quickly pushed open after which three uniford n jumped down and then dragged down an elderly-looking man after which three more stepped down.
The uniford n wore a pale blue uniform with the insignia of two swords crossed over an open book etched on their badges.
According to Lucius’s mories, these were the Academy’s equivalent of the Royal Blue with the only difference being that they were trained with the sa thod the D.O.D. used to train their cadets which gave them the much-needed skills to deal with supernatural anomalies if ever they arose.
Slowing down, Alex slowly moved to et with this group, his gaze soon reaching the middle-aged man with a head full of white hair, donning a green robe etched with the sa insignia he’d seen on Headmaster Roland’s attire.
Imdiately, a thought ca to mind.
"Let go of !... You can’t treat like this!... Do you know what I’ve done for this institution?... You can’t do this!" The man cried out as he struggled to break out of the grasp of the school security.
"Professor Albus, please don’t make this harder than it’s supposed to be." One of the security n said, his appearance slightly different from the rest as he wore a hat in conjunction with the rest of his attire while the others had nothing.
"You bastards!... The TruthSeekers won’t spare you!... They definitely won’t spare you!" The man, or rather, Professor Albus bellowed only for his attention to be drawn to Alex who had gotten quite close.
"It’s you, you bastard!... You took everything from !... I’ll kill you!... I’ll kill you!"
The guards, also noticing Alex’s presence, offered a polite greeting.
Alex offered no response, his expression only shifting slightly as he regarded the man who was once Lucius’s superior.
He felt sorry for the old man but alas, what was he to do?... He had to play his role until he had completed the mission.
Professor Albus continued to glare at Alex as he was led away by the guards until his neck could no longer take the strain, after which he returned to struggling to escape the predicant he was in.
As Alex watched his receding back, he let out a sigh while turning to leave only to pause as he found the maid from the other day standing next to him, her gaze also transfixed on the receding back of the once renowned professor.
"Uhmm..."
"The Headmaster would like to see you." She curtly said as she turned to face him, her gaze filled with what Alex could only consider as slight disdain.
Restraining the urge to ask for her na for better identification next ti, Alex inquired. "May I ask why?"
"You will find out when you get there. Please follow ."
Not waiting for a response, she turned and led the way to the carriage she’d used to transport the security n and Albus with Alex having no choice but to follow closely behind.
Once boarded, the carriage began its journey to the Headmaster’s office.

"Ah, Mr. Fitzgerald, glad you could join ," Roland remarked while seated at his desk.
This ti, his office was mostly in order while his table was still in a bit of a ss.
Regardless, what caught Alex’s attention was the glass orb placed at the center of the table.
It glowed 6 different colors, each covering a quadrant of the orb, making for a rather intriguing sight.
Though he had never seen it before, an urge to learn more about it cropped up though Alex was quick to nip it in the bud to avoid unnecessary conversations.
Tearing his gaze away from the kaleidoscope appearance of the glassware, Alex t the Headmaster’s gaze as he replied. "You asked to see , sir?"
"Indeed, I did," Roland said with a sigh as he added in a sowhat lancholic tone. "And it’s about a most serious matter. You might want to take a seat."
