It all happened so quickly.

Despite its size that was incomparable to an average man, with it standing at over 8 feet with a rather robust figure, Alex didn’t expect it to move so fast.

Considering that it lost its head as well, though Alex knew it wasn’t over, he had no way of knowing it could move so fast

Fast enough that he barely reacted in ti.

It wasn’t that he wasn’t fast, but the ti it took him to snap was enough ti for the creature to make its move and take the male Enforcer’s head.

It truly was a frightening beast.

"Please step away. I’ll take things from here." Alex muttered as he tried to pull the female Enforcer away.

She didn’t move, however, as she remained in place, staring at the headless body of her superior while screaming at the top of her lungs.

She was completely out of it.

Seeing no other option, Alex knocked her out and moved to Nadia’s side, with the latter still struggling to recover from nausea and fatigue plaguing her.

anwhile, tentacles appeared in the neck stump of the creature, slowly rging before a head... or at least what looked like one appeared.

Then slowly, it looked down to find that pulsating black and white tendrils had wrapped around its joints, keeping it in place.

It tried to struggle but the harder it fought, the heavier it beca.

Alex pursed his lips as he studied the monstrosity.

He acutely noticed its usage of tentacles, prompting him to consider the possibility that it was a monster from the Abyss.

He didn’t know much about the Abyss to be sure though but it was a logical assessnt.

However, with that assessnt ca the question...

"How did you get here?"

Of course, he didn’t expect an answer as he only spoke up to verbalize his thoughts.

Suddenly, he noticed the gaze of the monstrosity which was fixated on him.

"This again," Alex muttered as he sensed that the creature was evaluating him sohow.

He made no attempt to act as he had no idea of the extent of its regeneration and more importantly, how it managed to destroy half of the train he was riding on.

Seemingly noticing his wariness, the creature acted.

Its chest suddenly opened, revealing a mouth-like opening with rows and rows of teeth.

Alex frowned at the sight.

Then as though gathering energy, a thick murky light quickly ford at the center of the mouth before quickly expanding until it was almost the size of two basketballs rged as one.

Pa

At the sa ti as Alex reacted, the creature fired the energy like a beam.

The air twisted and the earth was scorched as the beam shot forward with frightening precision.

Alex’s form changed, taking on a state that constantly shifted between black and white.

Just as the beam was about to make contact with him, the black portion stood out and collided with the beam, absorbing its entirety.

A muffled groan was heard but apart from that, nothing else happened as the beam was safely taken care of.

The humanoid creature seed shocked that its attack was handled so easily but that didn’t seem to be the end as it watched as the beam it shot out was sent back with added force behind it.

Boom

In a terrifying blast, the monster was blown to smithereens.

Alex let out a sigh as he returned to normal but he remained wary with his Chains of Darkness at the ready to restrain the creature if it happened to regenerate.

As though on cue, fleshy bits that remained of the monster quickly began to regather, even adding extra from the flesh of those that had died, until it reconstructed itself into an even more frightening monstrosity.

Standing at over double its initial size, the creature which now had a more human face glared hatefully at Alex.

Alex furrowed his brows at the sight. "Are all Abyss monsters this troubleso?"

The creature ignored his words as it reached for him but Alex was prepared as several black and white tendrils wrapped around its body, keeping it in place.

"I guess this allows to test out what I’ve been playing with," Alex muttered as he raised his right hand and opened his palm.

Then, a black vertical circle appeared and around its center, a white horizontal circle encircled it, making for a rather unique structure.

Alex stared at it briefly before nodding with satisfaction.

"This should do."

There were several things he learned from his battle with Basar and the crow-masked figure.

One glaring lesson was that he focused too much on support Abilities after completing his Origin.

He thought at first that with enough support skills, it would be a simple case of in and out with him taking what he needs without making noise.

But after what happened, it dawned on him that even though he disliked head-on confrontations, there would be tis when he can’t avoid it.

In such situations, would he use a revolver against a person capable of using attacks similar to nuclear bombs?

And so, he rectified that...or at least, he was on his way to doing so.

The black-and-white circle was his first attempt.

Taking a deep breath, he looked toward the monster that was still struggling to escape its bindings.

"I will na this... Black Hole."

Pa

The black and white structure disappeared from his palm and a mont later, appeared behind the monster, much larger than its initial size.

A powerful suction force rushed out from the structure and began to devour everything around it, including the monster.

The humanoid creature struggled even more, upon sensing its end but regardless, it turned out futile.

With a mournful cry, it was dragged into the hole, never to be seen again.

Letting out a sigh, Alex watched the black and white structure collapse in on itself before disappearing into the nothingness of space.

He muttered with a knowing smile. "That was satisfying to watch."
