Kaizen, Raiken, and Killer Queen launched their attacks on Greed simultaneously.

Greed faced a combined onslaught from three individuals whose strength far surpassed his own. Survival was impossible.

A shadow of despair darkened his face as a swarm of insect eggs materialized, absorbing his aura. The ability Greed had intended to use was imdiately nullified.

Killer Queen’s attack landed first. Part of Greed’s body disintegrated in an explosive blast—a critical blow.

Raiken’s blade followed, slashing with imnse force.

Boom!

The strike nearly tore Greed in two. His body hurtled backward, colliding with the wall tens of ters away, leaving a deep depression. Blood sprayed everywhere, painting the ground in crimson.

Kaizen strode forward, his footsteps asured and deliberate, as Greed struggled to lift his head. But deep down, Greed knew escape was impossible. His injuries were fatal, and no one could save him now.

A deep sense of regret overwheld him.

Why did I bring Kaizen back to Orion? Why did I use him as an experintal subject?

Even more agonizing was his frustration at dying before he could officially join the Shadow Beasts.

He stared at Kaizen, disbelief etched on his face.

"Who... are you?"

Kaizen’s youthful appearance made it incomprehensible to Greed that a boy in his teens could wield such overwhelming power. And those aura beasts—abilities beyond anything Greed had ever encountered.

"You don’t need to know," Kaizen said coldly, his voice cutting like a blade. "There’s only one thing you should understand: Even after what happened here, the Mafia Community won’t catch . I’ll leave Orion unscathed."

Killer Queen handed Kaizen an iron rod. Without hesitation, Kaizen swung it, smashing it into Greed’s head.

Boom!

The explosion obliterated Greed’s skull, leaving nothing behind.

Kaizen handed the rod back to Killer Queen, who thodically disposed of the remains. Every trace of the secret room was erased under Kaizen’s instructions.

Outside, chaos engulfed Lab No. 2.

Altan had infiltrated the facility, set fires, and released poisonous gas from the experintal chambers. But this was rely the prelude. Altan’s true aim was to unleash the experintal monsters—grotesque creations of human experintation.

Kaizen had only seen glimpses of them in surveillance footage. The facility’s underground chambers held thousands of these abominations. So retained fragnts of their human form, others were half-human hybrids, and still others had fully transford into monstrous shapes.

Many were devoid of aura or life energy, akin to unawakened combatants in Heavens Arena. Yet among them were those with imnse aura reserves, rivaling elite Nen users.

Altan had uncovered the twisted ambitions of Dantins, the head of Lab No. 2.

Dantins planned to create thousands—perhaps tens of thousands—of monsters. The selection process was brutal: locking dozens or hundreds in a cage and forcing them to fight until only one survived. This "survivor" would erge stronger, forged by carnage and brutality.

But these plans were moot. Dantins was dead—killed by Kaizen.

In the depths of the base, the sound of shattering cages echoed through the halls.

Crack!

Crash!

The monsters, hearing the commotion, instinctively pushed open the doors of their confinent.

Their eyes glowed with rage. Years of captivity, cruel experints, and inhumane treatnt had stripped them of any remaining humanity. They had only one thought: Destroy everything.

"Roar!"

With a primal scream, the monsters burst forth. Staff mbers, preoccupied with extinguishing fires and containing the poisonous gas, were caught completely off guard. Blood spattered as monsters tore through them, their vengeance unleashed.

Panic spread like wildfire. A few staff mbers tried to sound the alarm, but Altan had already disabled the system. Those who attempted to report to Dantins found his office empty.

Most of the staff fell quickly, torn apart by monsters who saw them as the source of their suffering. Years of pain and tornt had reduced most of these creatures to pure instinct, driven only by hatred and destruction.

Yet, a few retained their ability to think. These monsters seized the chaos as an opportunity to escape. Finding the exit Altan had opened, they made their move.

One by one, the monsters poured out, so fleeing mindlessly while others hid, waiting for the low-intelligence beasts to draw the attention of the world gangsters. The clever ones bided their ti, watching for the perfect chance to slip away unnoticed.

Kaizen remained in the secret chamber, watching the carnage unfold through the base’s surveillance system.

He knew the riot would draw significant attention. The monsters, with their strength and numbers, would pose a serious threat, forcing the Mafia Community to mobilize Nen users. The Shadow Beasts alone wouldn’t be enough, high-ranking enforcers would be required to contain the situation.

A text ssage appeared on Kaizen’s phone.

"Mission complete."

It was from Altan, confirming that all traces of Kaizen’s involvent had been erased, along with records implicating others. Altan’s thoroughness would minimize any future complications for Kaizen.

"It’s ti to leave," Kaizen muttered, rising to his feet.

He opened the iron door of the chamber and stepped into the chaos.
