"It's fine don't worry, see." He raised his hand to show her which had already healed by now, the purple like color was gone and the fingers had snapped into place. Her eyes widened in horror.

"But...but how."

He leaned closer then whispered into her ear, "magic." Before pulling away, a smirk plastered on his lips and he turned and began heading out of the hall.

Isabella's cheeks flushed bright, her ear still tingling from the sensation of feeling his breath so close to her ear, but she didn't question him and followed behind him quickly before he left her behind.

"We're going alone on this raid, hope you can handle it?" Kaizen asked, turning to her when she finally caught up to him.

"What did you two talk about? You seem tensed." Elizabeth asked quietly as she walked beside Flynn.

"He is strong. Maybe even stronger than ." Flynn replied, his face twisted in a slight frown.

"You know that's not possible, you weild four elents now and he weilds one at most. You're the strongest Hunter to exist, the world doesn't just know it yet."

"No Liz, he is different. I can sense it. There's sothing about him that I can't place a finger on."

Since he saw Kaizen for the first ti, he instantly knew Kaizen was different. Not only could he not sense any mana from him, he felt this overwhelming sense of inferiority whenever he looked at him.

It was driving him insane. Why would soone who be could barely sense any mana from make him feel inferior. And Kaizen had ntioned that he was B-rank. How was that possible? Or was he really that good at suppressing his mana?

And his strength, they had equal strength, he must have trained just as hard as he did for him to be that strong.

Flynn looked down at his fingers which were now healed. He'd used earth magic to heal himself. " I want to fight him." He said, his declaration surprising Elizabeth.

"You what?"

"If I don't, I'll keep feeling like he is stronger. I need to overco this feeling, otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with my plan."

Elizabeth didn't question him, she always supported and believed in him, besides, she didn't believe there was any hunter on earth who could win against him. He was just going through a phase and he needed to overco it.

"Alright master, I'll arrange for him to be brought to you." She assured him, bowing slightly. Flynn placed his hand softly over her shoulder as he gazed dearly into her eyes.

"Be careful, don't provoke him, try convincing him to co along. And if he doesn't agree, get back to and I'll tell you what to do."

Elizabeth nodded, "yes master."

The underground prison of Crimson guild.

The underground prison of the Crimson Guild was built deep enough that sunlight never touched its walls. The stone was damp, the air heavy with the sll of rusted iron and wet rock. A row of torches flickered along the corridor, casting jittering shadows across the bars.

From the far end, faint scraping noises broke the silence. Chains dragged and rattled as the prisoner in the last cell shifted. The frost user sat hunched against the wall, head bowed, his breath leaving small puffs of white in the air.

Then, without warning, his head snapped up.

His eyes darted left, then right, like soone waking in a strange room. "What… where the hell is this?" His voice was hoarse and cracked at the edges.

He tried to push himself up, but the mont he moved, the thick iron chains clamped around his wrists yanked him back down with a sharp clank. He looked at them in disbelief, tugging harder. "Why am I chained? What did I do?"

Two guards at the bars glanced at each other before smirking. One leaned casually against the doorfra, his voice dripping with mockery.

"You serious? You're actually gonna play dumb?"

His partner stepped closer with a baton in his hand, tapping it lightly against the bars. "You froze half the damn training hall, knocked out anyone who ca near you, and nearly split a man in two. And now you're asking why you're here?"

The frost user stared at them like they were speaking another language. "That's not, no, I didn't—" He stopped mid-sentence, blinking rapidly as if trying to rember. His breathing grew uneven. "I wouldn't do that."

The guards' smiles widened.

"Oh, you did. I had to help carry the bodies out," the second guard said with a low chuckle. "Didn't even blink while you were tearing through people. You attacked everyone without hesitation or rcy. You were like a damned rabid beast. You should be greatful that an S-rank hunter was there to stop you in ti or we might have resulted to killing you."

"I don't believe you." His voice was sharper now, his chains clinking as he yanked against them again. He froze mid-pull, his eyes narrowing as he searched his own mory. It was then that he realized he rembered nothing after last night. His jaw clenched, the skin around his knuckles whitening.

The first guard leaned closer, pressing his baton to the bars with a tallic clang. "Keep thinking. Maybe the mory'll co back. Or maybe you'll just snap again and give us sothing to do."

"You can't do this, you can't keep in chains. Do you guys have any idea who I am? I'm not soone you wanna ss with." The ice user yelled, his voice trembling slightly.

"Ohh is that why you tried to kill hunters for no reason? Look, we don't care who you are or where you co from, we've been given orders to detain you till when your judgent will be made. Now you better behave before I change my mind and kill you right here." The guard's gaze was dead cold, sending a chill into the frost users body.

Quietly, the frost user turned his head away, pressing his back to the cold wall. His breaths ca slow and shaky, but his hands twitched in his lap.

Just then, footsteps began echoing as if soone was approaching. They turned, their attention at alert as the waited for whoever was coming to reach them. But just as they let their guards down, shards of ice ca flying from inside the prison cell where the frost user was chained and straight for their neck, slicing through their jugular veins and killing them instantly.
