Watson spit out the blood that had already risen to his throat. At the sa ti, he looked towards the direction of Celine with surprise and horror in his eyes.
During the ti that Watson was charging forward, Celine also reacted. She had always been alert ever since the mont that Smith had decided to attack. So, by the ti that Watson was moving forward, she imdiately mobilized the special ability that she possessed, and launched an attack at Watson.
Watson had not been expecting that he was going to be attacked by Celine. So, he was caught completely off-guard. And, added to the fact that they attack was invisible, he was not able to notice when he was being attacked.
By the ti that he was reacting, he had already been hit by the invisible force produced by the telekinesis ability that Celine possessed.
At this mont, he felt his internal organs churning. He felt that they had actually been taken out of their normal position, sothing that had resulted to him vomiting blood.
It was also during this mont that he finally realized that they had miscalculated. It might be true that Celine was actually at the first stage of the superhuman level, but, she possessed a special ability.
Additionally, what Watson did not know was that, Celine had beco a superhuman with the assistance of the system. And for that reason, she was stronger than any normal stage 1 superhuman. So, combined with the fact that she was possessing a special ability, it was not a problem for her to be able to deal with Watson.
At this mont, Celine's expression was serious as she looked at Watson. All the previous tis, she had to depend on Jack so that he could save her if she was attacked. But, this ti, she had decided that she was going to take this chance in order to deal with the person that was going to attack Jack.
So, without giving Watson another chance to get up, she attacked once again. She was using the telekinesis ability, enabling her to attack from a distance. So, a counter was suddenly raised into the air, before it was launched towards Watson who was trying to stumble back to his feet.
The commotion that was occurring inside the store imdiately attracted the attention of Vincent and Smith. The two of them were close to the entrance, so, there was a lot of space within the store. But, they had not expected that sothing like this was going to happen.
Vincent was already in the know that Celine was not to be underestimated. After all, even he himself would be injured if he did not protect himself against her attack. So, it was not a surprise to him that a stage two superhuman had been easily dealt with by Celine.
At this point, Smith decided to act. Although it was true that he was currently facing Vincent, but still, it was not as if the two of them had completely fallen out. So, he believed that Vincent was not going to take this chance to deal with him.
With rapid movents, he was able to arrive in front of Watson before the counter that was launched by Celine arrived.
Bang!
Using his fist, he imdiately attacked the counter, breaking it into several splinters. Those several splinters imdiately charged out, destroying a lot of things in the surroundings.
Celine reacted imdiately. Currently, Denali, Samantha and Ivy were present. So, she was not willing to have them getting injured in the crossfire. Using the telekinesis ability, she was able to prevent the wooden splinters that were moving at an incredible speed from injuring them.
The wooden splinters were easily controlled by Celine, as they hovered in the air. At the sa ti, Celine looked at Smith with a stern expression on her face. She had already realized that he was going to be a difficult opponent if she was to face him.
The counter that Smith had broken with just a single fist was made out of a material that she herself did not know. But, it was actually possessing the hardness or at the sa level as iron. For it to be broken just like that, that implied that the strength that Smith possessed was not to be ssed with.
Smith on the other hand looked at Celine cautiously. Although it seed that he had done everything effortlessly, but still, he had to spend a lot of energy in order to be able to break that counter.
At the sa ti, he felt that his hand was slightly numb. It was not easy for him to be able to break that counter, considering the speed and the force that it was launched with.
On the other hand, after consuming the boosting pill, it was not as if Jack had been immobilized. Instead, he was just normal, but, he could feel that his strength was increasing at a rapid speed.
So, if Watson had managed to reach him, then, Jack would have definitely dealt with him. But, he really appreciated the fact that Celine had decided to take action. As for the reason why he did not intervene, that was simply because it was better for Celine to gain fighting experience in this way.
It might be true that they had already fought several tis, but, they could not go all out. After all, ever since they beca superhumans, the effect of the body strengthening solution was no longer capable of affecting them that much.
Since that was the case, they had to hold back in case they ended up injuring each other. Of course, Jack was afraid of injuring Celine by a great extent, and that was the reason why the training had stopped.
At this mont, Jack felt that his body had suddenly beco stronger than before. Additionally, he felt that his mind had suddenly been strengthened. And other than that, his senses had been improved drastically, enabling him to be able to see things clearly than before.
At this mont, Jack felt the incredible strength within his body, and realized that currently, he was actually at the 5th stage of the superhuman level. The strength that he possessed was more than triple of the previous strength that he possessed.
Vincent on the other hand did not act. To him, it was a good thing that the two sides were fighting. It was not as if any of them was considered as an ally to him. So, as long as any side was injured, then, he was going to have an advantage.
For this fight, he decided to wait by the side until they finished it. After that, that was when he was going to take action and reap the harvest that was being prepared for him.
Celine decided to take another chance. Although she was sure that she was not capable of dealing with Smith, that didn't imply that she was willing to give up.
Additionally, they were currently inside the Stronghold domain where the level of technology was high. So, she believed that even if she was injured, then, she would be able to get back to her feet. All of this was information she had received from Samantha.
The splinters that were hovering in the air were suddenly launched towards Smith. At this mont, Celine made sure that she used her full strength. After all, if she was not capable of dealing with the opponent in front of her, what was the need for her to hold back?
Swish!
The splinters cut through the air as they approached Smith at an incredible speed. At the sa ti, Smith managed to push Watson out of there. After all, with the power that was possessed within the splinters, he believed that if Watson was hit by them, then, he would definitely die.
He was currently already injured, so, his strength had already been reduced. Additionally, when they ca over, they did not take their equipnt, implying that currently, they had to depend on themselves. Had they brought over the armors that they possessed, then, they would be having an advantage at this mont.
The five splinters that were launched by Celine charged towards Smith. With a serious expression on his face, Smith took a step forward as he readied himself to deal with the splinters.
There was no way that he was going to be careless in this situation. After all, although he was a stage 3 superhuman, if any of the splinters managed to hit his vitals, then, if he was not treated, he was going to die.
Bang! Bang!
Having already learnt a lesson, as he attacked the splinters that were charging towards him, he imdiately attacked them while directing them away from Celine. But, still, Celine was able to influence them as long as they were still within the air.
And, just as Smith was focused on dealing with the splinters, he suddenly detected that there was sothing wrong. At one point, a splinter that was heading towards him suddenly changed its trajectory.
His eyes widened in disbelief as he watched as the splinter was directed towards Watson, who was watching from the side hoping that Smith would be able to deal with the situation.
Smith reacted at this mont. But, although he was trying to go towards Watson to save him, but, he was a step too late due to being forced to deal with the two remaining splinters that were about to lodge themselves into his neck.
Pufft!
Watson was not expecting that he was going to be attacked at this mont. So, he was busy watching the fight, while at the sa ti, trying to condition his breathing. When he was suddenly attacked by the splinter, it was sothing completely unexpected.
Still, he was actually a stage two superhuman. So, he was able to react, although late. Within this short mont that he was given to react, he was able to shift his body slightly to the left, making the splinter that was aiming for his heart to miss.
