Without even giving Derek a chance to resist, he moved forward and knocked him unconscious. Derek did not even have a chance of resisting before he was knocked out. But this was to be expected considering that he was facing a stage 3 superhuman.
Imdiately after that, the old man carried Derek with a grim expression on his face. He was sure that what he had done today was going to affect him in the future but still, he had no choice. After all, he had to ensure the safety of Derek.
But now, not to ntion that they did not even know where Jack and Celine were, even Alicia was involved in this matter. That implied that if they made a move against Celine, then, they were going to be attacked by two factions, one of which belong to so Celine, and the other one from Alicia.
Although the old man was not sure that Celine's parents were going to agree to make a move against to them, but still, they could not guarantee anything. However, just the resolution that Alicia possessed was enough to tell him that she was going to take drastic asures if there was a need for her to do so.
Although it was true that Derek was stronger than Alicia when it ca to physical combat, but, Alicia possessed a special ability. For that reason, she was going to be capable of easily defeating Derek.
Additionally, the special ability that Alicia possessed could not be countered by physical strength. Instead, it required a stable ntal fortitude. A person like Derek was definitely not capable of dealing with such an attack.
It might be true that Alicia's special abilities could not work on superhumans, but it was completely different thing when it ca to ordinary humans.
And if Alicia managed to reach the superhuman level, then, there would not be any superhuman of the sa stage as her who did not have the abilities or equipnt to resist the special ability that she possessed that was going to be able to deal with her.
Letting out a sigh, the old man turned around and decided to leave. Although it might be true that there was still a long distance before they finally arrived to the next stronghold, but still, it was not sothing that a superhuman like him could not handle.
Although it might have been good if he would have gotten a ans of transport from the Devin stronghold, but since they had already provoked Alicia, there was no need for them to do that.
As for himself, although he was a superhuman, not many people knew him because he always stayed in the shadow. So, even if he went ahead and claid that he wanted sothing that they could use to move around in the stronghold, it was going to be almost impossible for this group of people to give him the vehicle.

On the other side, after Jack had left the Panthers organization, he had decided that he had to look for the materials that were required in order to enable him to forge the armor that he had been given a blueprint of by the system.
According to the system, the materials that were required were considered basic inside of the stronghold. So, he did not expect that it was going to be difficult for him to be able to get them.
Anyway, although it was true that this was a stronghold that was created with the intention of defending against the invading forces, but still, it was completely no different from a city.
It was just that this city was dominated by a group of humans had that possessed incredible capabilities. And, from ti to ti, people would argue or even engage in small fights against each other because of simple argunts.
But, the difference between the stronghold and the city that was located outside the Stronghold was that, although the group were always fighting against each other, no killing was allowed. The group that was in front of them, blocking their path was a group that was fully composed of ladies. Each and every one of them was quite a beauty, but still, the cold expressions on their faces could easily intimidate a person who looked at them.
They were wearing armors that were blue in color with so mixtures of red and orange, making a pattern like that of a Butterfly. Of course, on the left chest, there was an insignia of a butterfly.
The two leading figures had eight stars, and there were two of them. It was obvious that they were at the sa level as the guardians of the Panthers organization.
Inside the Stronghold domain, the humans who had reached the ordinary level were not categorized according to levels from 1 to 10. Instead, they were categorized according to stars.
A person who had two stars was a person who possessed strength that was one level above normal humans. As for that one who possessed a single star, that was just a normal human but, that person had been selected by the organization and is undergoing training. It is just that that person have not managed to reach the ordinary human level but still, in the level of normal humans, they were not to be underestimated.
For the Guardians of the organizations in these small Strongholds, they all possessed eight stars. At eight stars, they were seven tis stronger than normal humans.
But of course, the strength that they possessed was not just a simple as seven normal humans combined, but instead, it was more like a multiplication factor. Although it was not like seven tis seven, but still, the strength that they possessed when they attacked was definitely more than the addition of the combined strength of seven normal humans.
Behind these two, there was yet another group of five ladies. Each and every one of them had seven stars, implying that they were only a single level below the guardians.
When Samantha saw this group, her expression shifted a little. But still, she was able to maintain her composure as she looked at the group. She did not seem to be afraid at all.
Jack and Celine had already proved that they were not to be ssed with. After all, even Sylvia who was a superhuman did not manage to do anything to them. And in fact, the personality that she had already built, that of a cold and cruel person had suddenly crumbled, making Sylvia look like a spoiled little girl.
Even though Samantha was not from the Panthers organization, she had already had rumors about Sylvia. So, she knew just how cruel Sylvia could be. But since even Sylvia was not capable of dealing with Jack and Celine, then, why was he supposed to be afraid of only two guardians?
Even Denali was capable of taking care of them, provided that she was given equipnt of the sa level as they possessed. After all, during the last ti that Samantha had fought against Denali, she had taken advantage of the laser weapons that she possessed to overwhelm Denali.
But in the end, she did not even succeed in defeating Denali. Although it was true that Jack had interrupted the fight, but still, although Samantha had managed to deal so damage to Denali, it was still a little far away from being able to completely make Denali lose her combat capabilities.
"Samantha, you have to co back to the organization with us. The leader needs to see you." One of the ladies who possessed green long hair that was tied into a ponytail spoke with a cold expression on her face.
There was anger within her eyes as she looked at Samantha. She was never close to Samantha, and now that she had gotten a chance, she was hoping that Samantha would not agree so that they would use force in order to make sure that she went back to the organization.
By leaving the organization without being given permission, Samantha had already committed a mistake that needed to be punished. And more than that, she was suspected to be involved in the killing of the guardian of the Panthers organization.
Previously, they had tried contacting her, but still, Samantha never responded. As for what she did or if she had abandoned the communication device that she possessed, that was not sothing that they knew.
And now that she had to co back, they had to make sure that she went back to the organization. They had to get the information of what happened, but still, Samantha was not going to able to avoid managent considering that she had already gone against the rules.
"But I don't want to see her." Samantha responded. She did not have to put up so etiquette when talking to the lady. After all, the two of them had already beco enemies, but it was just that they belonged to the sa organization that they had never fought against each other.
Of course, other than that, it was due to Samantha's carefree nature that she did not even care much about the grudge that existed between them.
While the other party treated her as a life and death enemy, and if they are existed a chance, she was going to attack, Samantha on the other hand did not even care.
"I guess that we can only force you then." With a cold grin on her lips, the lady prepared herself to attack.
