Jack took a deep breath after the system prompts finally ended. It was true as the system had said, there were several changes that had occurred.
Unlike the previous tis that he was depending on purchasing a company, before finally gaining the first inco reward, this ti, it was completely different.
He was no longer going to be rewarded after purchasing a company. It seed that after it had been prohibited the last ti, then, that was the end of it.
Nevertheless, Jack was still satisfied by the changes that had appeared. Just from the fact that if he was learning a certain skill, then, he would be able to learn it a hundred tis faster than normal, and moreover, if he was training, then, the improvents would be 100 tis faster.
The thing that he had been looking forward to was the fact that, the system was able to influence Celine. Just like him, she was able to get the sa effect as him. If she trained, then, she was going to be capable of improving a hundred tis faster than normal.
Additionally, just like himself, currently, Celine was also protected from mind control. With this, if another person like Alicia appeared, Celine would be safe as long as she possessed the ability to resist the attacker.

Jack was completely looking forward to what he was going to earn after he went to the stronghold. Just from the system prompts, he could tell that, the system was telling him to go to the strongholds.
At the end of the day, there was not much that he could earn from here, other than through learning, or training. Anyway, he was not willing to do that as currently, he had woken up late.
Jack hurriedly got to his feet, then, looked at his phone that was on the bedside table. The mont that the screen lit up, he realized that he had been contacted by the puppets that were supposed to be in charge of protecting Jonathan and his family several tis already.
His expression shifted drastically. He had not expected that he was going to fall unconscious, and, he had only woken up when it was close to noon.
"What is it? Did sothing happen?" When Celine looked at Jack's anxious expression, she could not help but ask worriedly. Of course, she already knew about the coming of the guardians from the strongholds.
So, from Jack's expression, she was worried that sothing had happened. And if that was the case, then, it might actually involve her parents because she was also involved with Jack.
"I'm not sure yet. Let confirm." Jack replied as he made a call. Since there was no way that he was going to be capable of contacting the puppets using the communication device that they possessed, he had no choice but to use a normal mobile phone.
Of course, soone might be wondering why he did not use the telepathic connection that he possessed with the puppets. But, just like everything that had been blocked before, not being able to get rewards from the companies that he possessed previously, there was also sothing that had happened to the connection with the puppets.
The damn system had claid that, for him to be able to reconstruct the link, he had to ensure that he reached the stronghold. Only then would he be allowed to communicate with the puppets through the link.
Of course, Jack hated everything about this matter. Now, other than the ability to summon the puppets from anywhere that they were, to co over to where he was, he was no longer capable of communicating with them by abnormal ans.
But of course, there were several adjustnts that had been made to the mobile phone. So, there was nobody that was going to be capable of tracking the communication between him and anybody else.
He really wanted to use one of the communication devices that was possessed by one of the puppets that was currently not assigned to protect anyone.
But that was an impossibility. The system had inford him that, he was not allowed to use the equipnt that the puppets possessed. That implied that, even though it might be true that he was the owner of the puppets, since he only owned them temporarily, then, he could simply instruct them to do what he wanted.
If he really wanted to use the equipnt that they possessed, then, he had to own them permanently. But, that was an impossibility for the current Jack. As for the system, after he asked if there was a way that he could use to make sure that he owned the puppets permanently, the system claid that he had to find out himself.
Of course, this was sothing that Jack hated about the updated version of the system. Ever since he had complained about not being inford about how the skill slots were getting powerful the longer that he kept them, the system was updated.
And with that, Jack was no longer inford about anything that might be of great assistance to him. That was of course other than the fact that he had been inford that, if he wanted to go to the stronghold, he had to wait until he upgraded his authority to the second level.
"Master, the group really ca over. But, we were able to prevent them from reaching their destination. Currently, we are still at a standstill because they don't seem to want to attract any great attention by fighting closer to the Jesda family residence." A cold and emotionless voice reached Jack's ears.
'It seems that I was right. I never expected that they were going to make a move at night. But, I guess we can begin dealing with them.' Jack thought to himself with a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
"Okay. Just ensure that nothing goes wrong. I will be there soon." Jack responded.
After ending the call, Jack looked at Celine and said, "They targeted Jonathan's house. It seed that they were getting my aunt, who I guess that they targeted simply because he is related to Nathan."
Celine felt relieved that nothing had happened to her family. But, she still asked anxiously, "Did anything happen?"
"Not really. They did not manage to get them, and I'm pretty sure that my aunt doesn't know that she was targeted. Anyway, I'm going to deal with that group right now. Do you want to co along?" Jack said as he headed towards the washroom to freshen up.
"Of course I will. I have already gotten stronger, stronger than before, and, I have not been involved in any life and death battle. So, this is going to be the best opportunity for to test my abilities." Celine said with excitent glittering in her eyes.
"Okay. We will be leaving after I'm done freshening up." Jack replied as he closed the bathroom door behind him.
"Are you not going to eat sothing? You know, you have just woken up." Celine asked.
"I will eat only after I am assured that there is no longer any threat that is presented. So, I can co back and eat lunch after we are done dealing with that group." Jack replied.
"Hey, that is unfair. You always force to eat after training. It doesn't matter if I am not in the mood to eat or not, but, you always say that I have to eat. You have to do the sa, you know?" Celine pouted as she complained like a stubborn little girl.
"This is completely different. For you, that is ignorance to your health. But now, there is an ergency." Jack replied as he opened the shower water.
"What ergency are you talking about? If it really was an ergency as you are claiming it to be, then, I do believe that you would not have been having the ti to enter the bathroom. You would not have been having the ti to sleep overti as well. You would have simply gotten up, and rushed towards the scene." Celine explained her view of the matter.
"Of course I have already made arrangents to ensure that the danger is stalled long enough. By the ti that the supposed danger is going to act, I would have already arrived there." Jack replied nonchalantly as he scrubbed his body.
"Whatever! Just finish up so that we can go over and et aunt. I don't want to risk anything happening to her." Celine resigned in the end.
Currently, the relationship between her and Anita was not that bad. Considering that Anita was Jack's mother's twin, then, due to the fact that she had realized that Jack's mother had 'passed away', she decided to interact with Anita.
In this way, at least, she would not be as sad as she would have been without anybody that was familiar with Anne, other than her mother, to talk to.
Jack did not spend a lot of ti inside the bathroom. So, after he was done, he ca out of the bathroom and found that Celine had already left the bedroom. Shrugging, he went ahead and began changing.
