"Are you trying to tell that you are not going to agree to my proposition of going back with to the stronghold, and marrying ?" Alicia took a deep breath and asked.
She didn't like the feeling of what Jack was implying. Additionally, from his words, it was obvious that he still possessed the love that he had for Celine.
But, that was just what she wanted. She wanted that love to be transferred from Celine, to her. She was beginning to wonder if she was supposed to eliminate Celine, so that, the love that Jack possessed would lack a target.
And in the end, since she was the only one that would be caring about him, then, he would have no choice but to direct that love towards her.
Jack got to his feet, and approached Alicia. His face was so close to her that she slled his masculine scent. She felt her heart racing, and she really wanted to pounce on him and kiss him, but, she managed to hold herself back.
At least, she wanted to give Jack a good impression of her. She didn't want him to think that she was a loose woman. Still, a blush managed to creep onto her face.
Looking directly into Alicia's eyes, Jack said, "Perhaps I have not made myself clear. So, let do it. What I'm trying to tell you is that, I do love Celine, and I do hope that you don't get involved in the matter concerning her. The relationship between the two of us started long ago, and it is not going to end just because of you, a person who just appeared out of nowhere."
As she heard Jack's words, Alicia suddenly felt like there was a sharp knife that was piercing her heart. All the anticipation that she was having before, suddenly disappeared and was replaced by desperation and fear.
She had tried all she could, to try and gain Jack's love, even going as far as making sure that Celine did not go near Jack, but in the end, the love that he possessed for her did not diminish at all.
Additionally, she was afraid that Jack was going to hate her. What she wanted from Jack was not hate, but instead, it was his love. What was she going to do with his hatred?
"Normally, I don't usually talk with a person that I consider an enemy this much. But this ti, I have spoken more than what I usually do. In other situations, I would rather deal with you first, before starting thinking about other matters." Not caring about Alicia's feelings at all, Jack continued.
"All the people that have attempted to do anything to Celine, all of them did not have a good ending. Even though none of them died, but at least, they suffered a lot of pain. As for you, there is only one reason as to why I have been talking to you all this while, not doing anything at all." Jack said as he looked at her.
"It is pretty simple. Even though you do possess the capabilities to harm Celine, you restrained yourself and did not harm her that much. Even though you have hurt her heart by preventing her from being together with the person that she love, I will forget about that because I believe that I will be capable of nding the wound."
"Still, for the fact that you decided to let her go, without harming her, I will do the sa. I will let you go. But, this is a one-ti thing. I will allow you to leave, go back to the stronghold, or perhaps look for soone else, as long as that person is not related to and you don't force them, and I will not care."
"But, if you continue staying here and trying to harm the people that are closer to , I do promise, I will not care if you are a woman or not, but, you will not like what you will experience."
After saying that, Jack retreated. He was not willing to get entangled with the lady in front of him just yet. The only reason as to why he was letting her go was that, he believed that with the ability that she possessed, she could simply make Celine throw herself from a high place, and commit suicide.
But, she had not done sothing like that. And, since she was manipulated, and the reason for that was him, he felt that he had to do sothing about it. But nonetheless, he had to appreciate the fact that, no harm had been dealt to her that could not be dealt with.
But, that was all. In case Alicia tried to do anything else to Celine, then, Jack would not care about her background, and would simply eliminate her even if that was the last thing that he had to do.
As for fearing her background, that was not even in his mind. He was going to the stronghold soon, and once he gains the resources there, he was sure that he would be able to create an army way more powerful than any of the organizations.
Alicia stood in place, not knowing what she was supposed to do. She had co over excited, thinking that, she was going to go back ho soon, with the person that she loved.
But in the end, all of this was just a dream. Not only did the person that she loved not love her back, instead, he considered her as an enemy. Even though he had not done anything, just from his words alone, as he claid that he would deal with her if she did anything next, it implied that, he was serious about the matter.
At this mont, Alicia suddenly realized sothing. Even if she decided to kill Celine, then, it would not matter. At the end of the day, Jack would still hate her, and in fact, he was going to hate her to the bone.
In that case, even if she managed to take him back with her, she would never be able to make him love her. So, there was only one thing that she could do.
She took another deep breath as she tried to calm the wild emotions that were in her heart. Thereafter, she said, "Jack, I ca here with a single reason, to find soone that can marry . Of all the n that I have encountered all this while, you are the only one that has managed to move ."
"And for that reason, I don't believe that there is going to be any other man that is going to be capable of moving , making my heart palpate. So, it doesn't matter, but, you will have to co with back to the stronghold, and beco my husband." Alicia continued as she stared directly into Jack's eyes.
Jack did not avoid her gaze on him. Instead, he continued looking at her and said, "This is not sothing that you are going to decide on. I have given you a chance to go, and if you don't cherish it, you can as well tell so that I can deal with you as soon as possible. At the end of the day, I never like hidden dangers."
After saying that, he did not say anything else. Instead, he waited for Alicia to make her decision. If she was not going to agree to leave, then, Jack would not mind dealing with her.
He was a person who knew how to appreciate a person that had done sothing for him, and, repay all the debts that he needed to repay, whether good or bad.
Alicia had already done him a favor by not harming Celine. So, in return, Jack would not harm her as well. But, that might change according to the decision that Alicia was going to make.
"I guess you leave with no choice. No matter what, I have to go back with you. You are the only one that can change my destiny, the one that can make sure that I will not live a life that is full of regrets." Alicia responded.
And as she said those words, a mysterious light flashed within her eyes. At the sa ti, she continued to stare at Jack, determined to take him back with her.

Even before the system prompt appeared in front of him, Jack had already frowned. At this mont, he had realized that there was a strange energy that was seeping out of Alicia's body, heading towards him.
He had felt that this kind of energy was not the one that he could evade, and neither could he block it. And, this was sothing that he had detected due to the fact that he had already broken the genetic lock. But nonetheless, it was so faint that, it was hard to detect.
And the mont that the system prompt appeared in front of him, Jack finally realized what was going on. It turned out that Alicia was trying to control him, to make sure that he did what she wanted.
At this mont, the anger within his heart could no longer be restrained. He had already been holding himself back, trying to allow the person that had been having the intention of harming the love between him and Celine go, but in the end, she didn't appreciate it.
"Jack, you will have to co with . As for the matter of you loving , I will take care of it after we are back at ho." Alicia said in a voice that was sweet, and hypnotic.
She had done it. Even though she did not want to do it, she didn't have any other solution other than this one. She could only control Jack to do what she wanted, and try convincing him later on after they had arrived at the stronghold. There, she did not believe that he would have the capabilities of running away.
