"You think that I am talking about this matter? And looking at the expressions of everyone of you that is looking at , I can tell that you also don't believe . So, why don't you just ask your parents about the matter?" Luther said with a serious expression on his face.

"Luther, I know that you want to deal with Felix, but please, this is not the ti to continue joking around. Can you just leave the matter aside for now, and deal with what we have to do?" A young lady spoke.

Luther frowned when he realized that there was nobody in the room that was supporting him on the matter. He was just about to continue speaking when Jas suddenly spoke.

"Luther, you have to know that whatever you have said has loopholes. You say that our parents are not allowed to inform us about the matter. And if that is the case, then, there has to be sothing that is used to know whether they are telling us or not." Jas said.

When he saw the surprised expression on Luther's face, his disappointnt showed on his face as he continued, "And if that is the case, if we call our parents, we are going to give away that we already know about the agreent. In that case, will our families not suffer greater losses because of this? I do believe that you understand what I am implying, right?"

Luther really wanted to explain the matter, but, he realized that nobody was paying attention to him anymore. Instead, they had gone silent, trying to think about the next solution after the first one failed.

"Hehe, I will call my dad and ask." Well, it seed that not everyone had stopped paying attention to him.

Felix had decided to take this opportunity to continue suppressing Luther. If just a call to his father was going to make sure of that, then, he was going to do it. To him, it didn't matter if what Luther had said was true or not. He simply had the decision to deal with both results.

When the youngsters noticed that Felix was making a call, none of them stopped him. After all, they were all curious about the matter, whether it was true about what Luther had said or not. It was just that they were not willing to take the risk.

Even though most of them were hedonistic in nature, that did not imply that they did not care about their families. If their families collapsed, then, how were they supposed to continue enjoying their lives? So, they had to ensure that their families continued prospering, so that they could also continue enjoying themselves.

"Tooo!...Tooo!...."

Since he wanted to make sure that everyone listened to the conversation, Felix had made sure to put it on loudspeaker. So, as the call went through, everyone present in the room could hear it.

At the sa ti, for so reason, Luther got anxious. Even though he was not sure about the reason behind the matter, but, he was having an ominous feeling about this.

And if not for the fact that everyone was waiting for the call to connect, then, he would have sprung forward and stopped Felix from making the call.

After about 1 minute of ringing, there was no response from the other end. So, the call automatically disconnected. Displeased, Felix called once again. But, just like before, the results were the sa.

Luther was relieved. But at the sa ti, he felt bitter in his heart as he could not verify that what he had said was true. That implied that, if they did not co to an agreent, then, they were bound to lose. At least, if they ca to a decision, at least, they would have reduced their chances of losing.

"I think that my dad is in an important eting. And from the looks of it, he will not be receiving the call at any ti…." Felix said with disappointnt on his face.

"Toto tutu lala…!Toto tutu lala…!Lalalala…lala!"

But before he could continue, the ringtone of his phone interrupted him. And when he looked at the caller's ID, excitent surged on his face.

He turned the screen of the phone and showed it to everyone present in the room. "Guys look, it looks like we are in good luck this ti. My father is calling ."

Even though he was still receiving strange gazes from everyone around him due to the ringtone, Felix did not care about that and received the call.

"Hey dad, I have sothing to ask you about." The mont that he received the call, he did not even wait for his father to speak before saying what was in his mind.

"What is it? You have to know that I am in an important eting, and I don't have much ti to talk to you. So be quick." A masculine deep voice reached everyone in the room. Even though he was trying to conceal it, if soone was keen enough, they would be able to tell that the voice on the other end was quite anxious.

"Ehm. Dad, I was told that the event that we are participating in also involves our family. Is it true? Are you betting on sothing with the family's assets?" Felix coughed before asking.

"Eh? Who told you about that?" Felix's father exclaid in surprise. It was obvious that he was not expecting to be asked about that.

Gasp!

The mont that he noticed his father's reaction, Felix's expression changed. He was not the only one, as everyone in the room also had a shift in their expression.

Even though Luther was also happy that it had already been confird that what he was saying was true, but, he was still anxious. He was feeling that sothing was going to go wrong soon.

Felix on the other hand, knowing that the plan that he was intending to utilize to make sure that Luther was even more suppressed by him failed, he decided to use another one.

"Luther is the one who told this. He said that his father told him everything about what is happening." Felix replied.

The mont that he said those words, everyone in the room looked at him with widened eyes. Nobody had been expecting that he was going to give such a response.

After all, it had not been long ago that Luther had said that he simply overheard everything that he had told them. But now, Felix was claiming that Luther had said that he was told by his father.

Luther was so furious that his face had already turned red. But at the sa ti, his heart had already skipped a beat. Finally, he understood why he was feeling anxious in his heart. Felix was clearly plotting against him and his family.

Indeed, even though Felix was quite chubby, he was not a fool. For him to be capable of getting involved with Clinton, and being the future heir of his family, it was obvious that he was smart.

Luther wanted to jump forward and beat up Felix, but he managed to restrain himself. After all, he rembered the fact that he was way weaker than Felix. So, if he decided to fight him, then, there was nothing waiting for him other than a beating.

Felix on the other hand looked at him with a smug expression on his face. He winked at him, as he listened to his father's response.

"Oh, I never expected that he was going to tell him about that. But, this is sothing that is prohibited. Since you already know about it, I hope that you don't tell anyone about the matter. Keep it a secret as it is way dangerous if it is spread before the youth congregation event ends." Felix's father replied.

Of course, this was just an act. During the mont that he had responded, he had already heard the several surprise gasps that had been produced by the youths that were listening in on the call.

So, since he already knew that the matter had already been exposed, and then, he also used this chance to make sure that he was not involved. At the end of the day, he could simply claim that he was warning his son not to continue spreading the news about the matter.

As for the source of the news, he was not the one. And neither was his son. Instead, it was Luther and his father that were going to be implicated by the matter.

"I understand dad. I am not going to tell anyone about it. But still, I am going to work hard to make sure that our family doesn't suffer much loss." Felix replied before hanging up.

Even though it was true that he was happy that he had shifted all the bla towards Luther, there was also another fact that he too was surprised by the fact that Luther was speaking the truth.

Since that was the case, that implied that, with all the losses that they had suffered during the first four rounds, their families had also suffered four consecutive big losses.

Felix felt his heart ache as he thought about just how much his family had lost. But still, in his response, he did not claim anything about winning, but instead, trying to say that he was going to try and reduce the losses that the family was going to suffer.

He was not an idiot. He himself already knew about the chances that they possessed in winning the competition. While the other party had already prepared for the matter, they were caught completely off guard.

So, they had no choice but to suffer the blow. The only thing that they could do was to make sure that they did not suffer that much.

"Felix, how can you be so ungrateful? Had I not inford you of the matter, you would still be in the dark. But now, I have already helped you, but you are going on to set up?!" Luther roared at Felix angrily.

His eyes had already beco bloodshot, as he felt that he had already lost a lot. After all, he had been doing this to make sure that his family did not suffer much, but in the end, he had actually opened another direct entry to the loss land. He could not stop blaming himself.
