In terms of sheer power, even a Strong Nuclear Civilization was unlikely, or rather, almost impossible, to have anything more powerful.

He was simply doing his best.

Tom knew that in Earth’s national era, spending a thousand years on an escape was an almost incomprehensible concept, let alone this escape not being the complete plan, but very likely just one part of a larger escape strategy.

After all, people’s lifespans were so short back then, often less than a century.
