Crunch.

In a quaint, ancient street.

Along the street, there were vendors selling candied fruit. A woman dressed in Miao attire sat adorably on a chair, eating a baked flatbread, and suddenly looked up at the tall man who appeared out of nowhere. She exclaid in surprise, "Who are you?"

"Where did the god go?" asked Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor directly, feeling his aura rapidly fading away.

"What god? Oh, are you looking for my boyfriend?" Zheng Weiwei quickly responded, her face lighting up with excitent. "He went to book a restaurant for to eat, he’ll be back soon."

Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor was taken aback and couldn’t help but ask, "Where is this place?"

"This is the Nanzhao Kingdom. I am the princess of this country and a descendant of Nuwa’s clan, just got off the flying sword," Zheng Weiwei said, matter-of-factly.

"What kind of world is this?" he continued.

Zheng Weiwei: "..."

Oh right.

What kind of world is this?

Her mind clouded for a mont, pondering the question.

Where was her previous mory? Oh, in the school laboratory doing experints, then it seems... returning to the dormitory, then it seems... her mind couldn’t think clearly.

Zheng Weiwei, even in her dream-like consciousness, found it hard to grasp. After thinking for a while, she finally responded with what seed like a perfectly normal answer: "Oh, this is the human realm, where did you co from?"

Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor was silent for a while, eventually pointing to the sky above, "I co from the Outer Heaven, from a star outside of this world, where we mainly research gene cell technology... but now, my ti is short."

"You are an alien? From outside Earth? Are you about to die?" Zheng Weiwei bashfully put down the candied fruit she was savoring, "But he is still booking the restaurant, I can’t get in touch with him."

Upon hearing this, Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor hesitated for a mont, filled with regret, "I intended to et the god one last ti, I have three questions... But since I cannot et, it does not matter. I have already seen the true depiction of the world and felt its greatness; how small we are! Just seeing the true world is already enough."

Zheng Weiwei paused for a mont, "No, I think researching cell genes is quite good. Why study astronomy, and the world beyond?"

Zheng Weiwei paused thoughtfully and said seriously, "A friend of mine once said that studying astronomy is heart-wrenching. Faced with such a vast starry universe, we are so insignificant; our history is rely a tiny speck in its vast ocean."

"But studying your cell engineering is indeed excellent."

"In front of the science of life microcosms, you will realize you are not insignificant but a remarkably great child of destiny. You surpassed three hundred million people to co into this world, and fifty billion cells in your body work hard for you every day, living for you."

Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor was slightly stunned.

"What an interesting girl, what an interesting viewpoint!"

Suddenly, he burst into laughter, exuberantly saying, "Marvelous! Marvelous! So, the results of our engrossed research are truly magnificent? But we ultimately have to face those disheartening matters; we cannot be limited by our own insignificance."

Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor suddenly beca interested, and before his end, he briefly shared his story and the history of Hundred-Stone Country with the young lady.

The other party listened with wide-eyed astonishnt.

Her husband is this amazing?

No wonder he’s my husband!

Wait, what’s my husband’s na again?

She forgot once more, feeling unable to recall it no matter how she tried.

Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor had no idea that his actions were quite like the casual chatter Zhu Zhengwei and Little Fatty had while running, seemingly aningless.

Yet after revealing his insights to this dreaming girl, Shiguang Blood Concealnt Emperor’s expression softened, "My purpose in coming here is to apologize to the god. Ultimately, we disregarded the goodwill of this ancestor, who bestowed us Divine Blood to let us perceive destiny, yet we still chose that path, even destroying the Hundred-Stone Country of Shiguang Zhizheng Emperor."

"We also let down the Saint Emperor, who answered those three questions before his end. The Human Dao Emperor restrained himself from pursuing immortality for the sake of future generations, willingly accepting his death to lead by example..."

As if he were issuing a self-critical edict, "Yet I, on the contrary, refuse to accept my death, crazily pursuing immortality and exploring all beyond this world..."

The two generations of emperors were like two opposite poles.

Shiguang Zhizheng Emperor explored the world in an imnsely stable manner, rooted in a dynastic foundation for eternity, while their approach was extrely radical, burning everything without holding back.

They wondered why wait for subsequent generations one after another?

A thousand years is too long, seize the mont!

But such excessive behavior led to the rapid demise of their civilization.

Zheng Weiwei listened, half understanding half perplexed, also sensing a weighty and somber undertone, said, "I feel like you don’t need to bla yourself. Although you seem completely opposite, essentially, both are for the historical developnt of your planet’s civilization, this is..."

"All roads lead to the sa destiny, fate converging."

"You simply advanced a certain era of future generations."

Zheng Weiwei pointed to the sky, "The world is always there; soone will always go to climb."

"The world is always there, always allowing those who see it to climb?" Blood Concealnt Emperor Shiguang was taken aback, pondering carefully, suddenly feeling invigorated, "Hahaha! Yes, that’s absolutely right!"

Laughter echoed through the entire street.

This emperor, laughing boldly, finally let go of everything. The dream of breaking through the world’s barriers was accomplished; he t this interesting girl, and her words resolved his heart’s last knot at the mont before his death.

Hahaha!

The world outside truly is vast and boundless!

Just in this world, there are such interesting people. To have an engaging conversation before dying, let alone in those other mysterious, infinite, vague worlds?

Swish.

His figure gradually beca blurred.

"Oh no, why are you vaporizing?" Zheng Weiwei was shocked.

"I am truly about to die."

"But in this life, I have no regrets!"

This emperor ignored the flustered young girl, a gentle smile lifting the corners of his mouth, his smile as brilliant as the sunlight here, as the divine thought that descended upon this planet completely dissipated.

At the very last mont, he saw that divine being with a teardrop mole, walking slowly from the street ahead, seemingly having completed so tasks, made reservations at an inn.

He opened his mouth, but his blurred body could say nothing.

"But perhaps now, eting this little girl, there’s no longer much on my mind. There’s no need to speak, to engage in conversation again."

He smiled brightly, looked towards the sky, and his whole person suddenly disintegrated.

...

Boom!!

Above the Hundred-Stone City.

A bloodstained body fell from the sky, crashing heavily onto the ground, creating a massive crater, stirring up countless sands and dust.

"Hahaha!! I have seen, I have seen it... all my old friends, comrades, and teachers." The headless remains within the gigantic crater fell amidst wild laughter.

With his last bit of strength, he opened the book he had just written.

[New Calendar year 795, Hundred-Stone Country inherited the legacy of the Elf, ended the Judgnt Day, the Day of Destiny, roaring forth for the fourth ti at the end of this era civilization, using the last of its power to once again attempt to break through world barriers, and succeeded.]

At the end of this newly written passage, he recorded the result of the last experint.

"Beyond the world is the cosmos recorded in prehistory."

"With just a glimpse, vast and boundless, there are over thirty-seven thousand brilliant stars, all bearing traces of life and civilization, and we are but one among countless!"

"Among them, I saw one with the footprints of a Divine Spirit, stepped among it, and had a delightful conversation with a lady, whose discussions on the world transcended the imaginations of our world and were refreshingly innovative."

Recording the final note, he utterly exhausted his strength and died, yet the corners of his mouth lifted into a slight smile,

"This Day of Destiny is the destiny I longed for. If this truly is death, it is also the death I desired. I had resisted all this ti; if I had known the truth, I should have anticipated its arrival sooner..."

Swish.

The earth lay barren and deserted.

All the Immortal Herbs remained silent, listening to his final murmurings before dying, speaking no words, falling into silence.

"Today’s weather is truly beautiful," suddenly an Immortal Herb swayed.

"Yes, especially radiant."

"Is a new era about to begin?"

They knew they indeed succeeded, using the qi they accumulated to help this last emperor fulfill his final wish; he died with a smile, and that was enough.

...

In a dense grove of flowers and plants beside, sitting atop a mountain peak, quietly observing everything, Zhu Zhengwei looked up at the sky, the rift quickly repairing, returning to calmness.

"The world has already self-repaired."

He sighed after all; he did not prevent him from breaking through the world, even secretly aiding him, Emperor Shiguang finally fulfilled his yearning, saw the real world outside.

"I also did not fabricate, letting him see the reality he desired to see. This Emperor, at the end of his life, witnessed the realm beyond the world. This is all I could possibly do."

Zhu Zhengwei felt sowhat complex inside as he walked step by step back to Hundred-Stone City, into this bloody battlefield, looking at the Blood Concealnt Emperor Shiguang’s corpse and the stunned Immortal Herbs observing him.

He stopped before the remains, thinking, "The Day of Destiny has ended completely, the era of Hundred-Stone Country is entirely concluded, and it has beco distant history. It is ti I complete so arrangents, tally so gains, and perhaps, revive...that transmigrator who saw their own death flower."
