Walking out of the police station, Eleven felt both physically and mentally exhausted.

With her mind preoccupied, she didn’t look both ways when crossing the street. A car nearly hit her as it passed by. Caught off guard, she stumbled and fell on the ground.
The man who got out of the car turned out to be Gu Tianyu.
"Why is it you?" Gu Tianyu also thought it was a coincidence to run into her on the street.
Seeing him, Eleven immediately got up from the ground, rushed over, and grabbed his clothes: "Was it you?"

It was well known that Gu Liancheng had children. The public assumed the children were his and Mrs. Gu’s, but Gu Tianyu didn’t think so, suspecting someone else was the mother. But it seemed now...everyone might have guessed correctly. The children probably were hers.

Only this could make her react so frantically.
Eleven’s expression changed slightly.
What did he mean by that? Could he not be the one responsible?
A car parked behind them, and a man got out. He separated Eleven and Gu Tianyu, confronting the latter angrily: "Gu Tianyu, what are you trying to do in broad daylight?"
It was Jin Xiangbei.
From a distance, he saw the two of them and, from his angle, assumed that Gu Tianyu was trying to hurt Eleven.
Gu Tianyu appeared speechless, looking like he thought the two of them were crazy.
Seeing the situation, he didn’t want to argue any further. He straightened out his clothes, turned around, and went back to his car.
"If you’ve lost a child, go find the police. I don’t have them."

Although Eleven had trouble reading Gu Tianyu, if he said he wasn’t the culprit, then he probably wasn’t.
If he was, he should have confessed by now to blackmail Gu Liancheng. Otherwise, what use would the children be to him?
"Jiujiu is missing too?" Jin Xiangbei asked her in the car.
Once Eleven calmed down, she nodded, "They’re both gone."
"Cute too?"
"Yes...both of them...are gone..." Eleven sobbed, covering her face, "If anything happens to either of them...I will never forgive myself..."
"Have you reported it to the police?"
"Yes...they said they’re looking, but who knows when they’ll find any leads..."
"Don’t worry, the kids will be alright. If this is a kidnapping, the kidnappers will want money. That’s the easiest problem to solve since money can solve all problems. If Gu Liancheng doesn’t help, I’ll see this through for you."
But perhaps, his worry is unnecessary. How could Gu Liancheng possibly not help?
