Chapter 503: 503 Are you proposing to me now? (6)_1

This little scamp is doing it on purpose to annoy him!

Gu Liancheng lifted his hand, but Eleven quickly covered her forehead to protect it.

Was he planning to flick her?

The two little darlings in the middle stirred, causing Gu Liancheng to retract his hand, fearful of waking them up.

Once they seemed to have fallen back to sleep, he finally let out a sigh of relief.

Seeing them sleep so peacefully, he simply didn’t have the heart to wake them.

"Hey, Fourth Master," she said, "I am being serious. Why not let me raise these two kids? In the future, you will marry a new wife who might pretend to be nice to Cute but is in fact a wicked stepmother. What would happen to my poor Cute then?"

"I too have seriously planned for your future," chuckled Gu Liancheng. "Carrying a little drag would not be suitable. It’s already difficult for a divorcee to find a spouse, let alone one with a son. You would have trouble getting remarried."

"No way!"

"The, same!"

He doesn’t even want to give his son to her, yet she dares to take Cute from him? How wishful thinking!

The negotiation failed, and they both rolled over one hundred and eighty degrees, their backs to each other, and went to sleep.

This marked the end of their not-so-warm first night as a family of four, all sleeping together.

...

Come morning, Gu Liancheng was the first to wake up, as per his biological clock.

Opening his eyes, he saw Jiujiu and instantly felt a warmth in his heart.

This little guy, cute when he acted difficult, was even more adorable when sleeping peacefully.

While everyone was still asleep, he leaned over and planted a kiss on the soft cheek, whispering: "Good morning, son."

Contented.

He then softly and gently got out of the bed to use the restroom.

With the door barely closed, Fang Jiujiu cracked open his eyes, rubbed his face, and grumbled in slight disdain, "So prickly."

Gu Liancheng’s stubble had pricked him.

The morning commotion was started by Gu Mengmeng, who woke everyone on the bed.

Eleven groggily opened her eyes, still feeling a bit drowsy. After suffering from insomnia the previous night and having chatted with Gu Liancheng for a while, she’d been robbed of quite a bit of her sleep. No matter how much she slept now, it didn’t seem to be enough, and she had a yearning to sleep forever.

However, Gu Mengmeng had woken up early and jumped on her, urging her to get up.

"Uh... Cute, you woke up so early..."

"Time is gold... Mommy... get up quickly... it’s Sunday today, let’s go out and have fun!"

Unable to resist Cute’s charm, Eleven yawned, moistened her dry eyes enough to open them fully.

However, she felt there was something amiss about how she had awakened.

While still lying down, she realized that Gu Liancheng and Jiujiu had already sat up. The two of them sat facing each other, both with their arms crossed, both evidently absorbed in looking at something.

As soon as Eleven got up, she was smothered in a hug by Cute who nestled in her embrace. The tiny feet stepped on her legs, the tiny hands held onto her neck, and Cute laid on her shoulder, cooing sweetly: "Mommy, why do I love you so much!"

Eleven felt that if she had continued to sleep, she would have been in a state of absolute bliss, a feeling that words simply couldn’t express.

"Mmm, mommy loves you too!" Holding Cute, they both puckered their lips, slowly closed in, and...

"MUA!" They kissed without any care in the world. After the kiss, the two began laughing. Their joyous laughter, early in the morning, filled the room, setting a cheerful tone for the day.

Cute merrily requested, "Another one, another one!"

Gu Liancheng & Fang Jiujiu: "..."

After kissing Cute and holding her small body aside, she noticed the father and son duo. Puzzled, she asked, "What are you two up to so early in the morning?"
