Chapter 307: 307 The Night Without You is Hard to Fall Asleep (6)_1
"Ah... Stop thinking about it, Fang Eleven! Go to bed, you have work tomorrow!"
"Get lost! Stop invading my dreams!"
Eleven flips over, burying her face under the pillow.
As soon as she falls asleep, Gu Liancheng persists in creeping into her dreams.
Just a quarter of an hour ago, she was having a wet dream! A full-on one!
She doubts whether she’s made any inappropriate noises in her sleep.
She’s fidgety and nervous, reluctant to fall asleep.
Anyone would think she’s been starved of male attention for ages, but she just divorced Gu Liancheng!
She was fine just a few days ago, why are all these symptoms appearing today?
With no other option, Eleven gets out of bed and opens Jiujiu’s room, swiftly hiding under his covers.
The moonlight pours into the little house, soft and comforting.
Fang Jiujiu is awoken by Eleven’s entrance. As soon he opens his eyes, he sees her face smiling at him, which startles him. He sits up, yawning and muttering, "Fang Eleven!"
Always playing pranks on her kid!
"Darling, let’s sleep together," Eleven’s eyes twinkle.
"And for what reason this time?" Fang Jiujiu resigns himself and lies back down.
"No reason, I just missed you."
"I don’t believe you."
"The weather forecast says there’s thunder tonight!"
"..." Fang Jiujiu is skeptical, "Fine, let’s sleep."
"Hehe, mom is here, don’t be scared."
"..." Really, who’s the one who’s scared?
With Grandpa Jiǔ around, Eleven feels much calmer. She embraces him and tries to fall asleep, managing to do so quickly and dreamlessly.
Just as Jiujiu is about to fall asleep, Eleven wakes him with a soft whisper of "darling."
Jiujiu opens his eyes wide, helplessly looking at Eleven.
Grandpa Jiǔ even thinks that Eleven acts more like a child than he does, always needing someone to take care of her!
"Fang Eleven, you’re really a case!"
This has got to stop...
Still calling him by that name even after their divorce!
...
The second night, Gu Liancheng repeats his actions from the first night, seemingly more agitated.
She starts appearing in his dreams.
Afraid of the same situation happening again as the previous night, Eleven decides to share a bed with Jiujiu again. Thankfully, their new house has bigger beds in every room, spacious enough for both.
She sleeps through the night without dreams.
The third night, Gu Liancheng starts pacing repeatedly in his room, mumbling to himself occasionally.
She continually appears in his dreams, even beginning to dominate his consciousness. In his dreams, she forcibly possesses him, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
As for Eleven, she’s been booted back to her own room by a fed-up Fang Jiujiu.
Worried of dreaming again, Eleven resists the urge to sleep all night. But eventually, sleepiness overcomes her, and she sleeps soundly until morning.
Waking up early, she celebrates her freedom from Gu Liancheng’s shadow by drinking two glasses of orange juice—-Grandpa Jiǔ doesn’t allow her to stash alcohol at home.
The fourth night, Aunt Fang hears occasional thumping noises from the floor above. There are things being smashed onto the floor, making continuous clattering noises.
She fancies that Mister said a few words, but she can’t really hear him.
Aunt Fang feels that when Miss Fang left, she took Mister’s heart with her.
Eleven starts doing strange things at home, laughing while watching variety shows, munching on snacks in her pajamas, and chatting giddily on Wechat. When she’s tired, she crashes onto the bed and sleeps without any concerns. She doesn’t need to dream of Gu Liancheng anymore!
Her days of being enslaved are over, Fang Eleven is free at last!
The fifth night, Gu Liancheng doesn’t return to Sea View Villa.
Fang Eleven, go to hell!
