Chapter 830: Bullying mom is not allowed (4)
"It’s the president!" Su Qing saluted, "Mission guaranteed to be completed! President, you should hurry off, it’s almost ti for the eting."
The phone kept ringing, presumably the secretary assistant hastily urging him on.
"Alright, let’s go."
Eleven logged into Weibo, wanting to check out the posts about herself, but discovered that neither the trending topics nor the related Weibo posts were there anymore. Even if there were so left, they were trivial and did no harm.
Several influential Weibo users who had been spreading the news had suddenly gone silent.
"No way... that was fast?"
"Ma’am, what are you muttering about?"
"Weibo, you know. Wasn’t it bustling with activity yesterday? Where’s the ’Weibo explosion’ everyone was talking about? I can’t seem to find anything..." she scrolled a few more tis, switched to several trending searches, "all gone..."
"Oh, those..." Su Qing smiled, "They were gone a long ti ago. Last night, the president ordered us to handle it. Don’t worry, you won’t see any related Weibo posts anymore, they’ve all been blocked."
"He did that?"
Su Qing nodded and said, "Yes, it’s the first ti. You know, the president has always been a celebrity, and anything slightly connected to our president always generates a lot of talk. Throughout these years, you know best how many scandals involving the president have been blown out of proportion, and he never cared about them. But this ti, they crossed the line by targeting you, ma’am, and wantonly slandering. The president couldn’t just sit back and ignore that."
"Was it really necessary to make such a big fuss over ? These people would calm down after a while anyway."
"It’s absolutely necessary! If the matters concerning the ma’am are not important, then what is? To the president, your matters are the most important."
"..."
Well, actually his protective stance did make her very happy.
"But how could he act so quickly? Didn’t he just talk about making an example out of soone?"
"What?"
"Those influencers who were stirring up trouble, they deleted all of their Weibo posts, unfollowed everyone, and even turned their accounts into junk ad accounts. What’s up with that, account hacked or what?"
"Ah? No way? The president shouldn’t have had ti to give that order yet."
Eleven continued to read the long Weibo post written by one of the account owners. Their point was that these people saw trouble coming and, afraid of getting into any trouble, acted out their own drama. In other words, they were in a ss!
People love a good show and don’t shy away from a big one, the majority said they had brought it on themselves and couldn’t live with their actions. It seems they hadn’t been too kind in their usual conduct, and now that trouble had co, no one was inclined to speak up for them.
"Oh!"
With a refresh, Eleven let out an exclamation.
"What happened, ma’am?"
"These two little ones. Shouldn’t they be in kindergarten right now? Why are they playing with Weibo?" Eleven grumbled, "I should have never given them smartphones! Xiaoqing, don’t you agree? How can today’s kids all have electronic devices? Back in our day, we had nothing."
"Pfft..." Su Qing laughed.
Turned out the young master and missy were playing truant from kindergarten to play with Weibo.
Jiujiu posted first: Uncles and aunties, bullying mom is not okay. It’s important to say it three tis, not okay, not okay, not okay. I’ll get angry, you know (smile).
Eleven could almost hear Grandpa Jiu’s tone and imagine his expression.
She burst into laughter.
This little one...
She opened the comnts and imdiately laughed so hard her stomach hurt.
"Grandpa Jiu, you’re handso, your word is law! You’re always right!"
"Unconditional support for granny!"
